Japanese video game magazine Nintendo Dream will reportedly reveal a Switch game "that everyone will enjoy" in its upcoming September issue. This information was teased in its latest edition this month.
The source - Nintendo Everything - points out that "while Nintendo Dream's context indicates that this is a single announcement, Japanese doesn’t easily differentiate between plural and singular". This is all that's been teased so far - so what could it be? One game, or perhaps more? There also happens to be a certain anniversary taking place in the month of September - right, we'll stop now!
Apart from this teaser, the magazine has announced it will be publishing an interview with the Japanese voice actor of Claude from Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
We've heard magazines hype up announcements in the past like this. One occasion that immediately comes to mind is when Famitsu teased a "revolutionary" scoop tied to Sega that ended up being a Japan-only arcade service/platform known as 'Fog Gaming'. In other words, try not to get too excited - and for all we know, this reveal may be shared ahead of schedule.

Metroid Prime 4 had to restart development once again, now retitled "Metroid Prime: Federation Force 2".
-and of course we can pay £50 for Federation Force Deluxe while we wait.
It's important for me to keep my expectations low. This is in order for me not to feel that burning crash down.
@The-Chosen-one or both! The legend of Samus: Breath of the Metroid 2-4 - The Snider cut. The ultimate crossover approved by none other than Zack Snider featuring the entire DC, Zelda and Metroid universes in which you play as Tingle with all the DC super powers (except superman because he sucks) and the villain is a failed reincarnation of Demise/Ganon that looks like Ridley with a head shaped like a Metroid, a tail like a corkscrew and who is asking for his mother every 5 seconds (which is hidden in 3 blue cubes or something).

@LilMuku whereas I get your point about ports. The Wii U had an install base of about 12 million and the Switch has sold, according to google, 62 million.
Wii U ports may be old games for us Wii U owners, but as they’re great games they’re potentially brand new games for up to 50 million people to enjoy

@Dragonslacker1 I mean, some games aren't meant for everyone to enjoy, for example, Xenoblade Chronicles wasn't made for everyone, it was made for fans of JRPGs. It is not meant to be enjoyed by people who only play shooters and action games (Not that I'm saying fans of those genres can't enjoy the game, it just wasn't a focus of the game). I am also trying to trick myself into not hoping for a Mario 64 remaster (´∀｀；).

After the Fog Gaming fiasco, I think it’s pretty safe to say that games companies aren’t rushing to reveal their biggest and brightest through the pages of a print magazine. For the love of all that’s holy, temper your expectations. It’s much cheaper than therapy.
When it's about Nintendo, it is ALWAYS only one extreme. Either it is "Wow, new Metroid, new Mario Kart, new Zelda, new F-Zero, new whatever is coming all in the next two months!!!" or it is "Wow, Nintendo is crap and is releasing only crappy or old games!!!"

I believe it, but I also believe it'll be revealed elsewhere first (namely by Nintendo randomly dropping a trailer on social media as they've done with Origami King and Pikmin 3 Deluxe). That sort of thing tends to happen with Japanese magazines as well.

Tomodachi Life is one of the Top 10 best-selling ganes on the 3DS despite being a new IP outside of Japan and getting mediocre review scores (71 on Metacritic).
Tomodachi Life 2 is the one game that would benefit the most from riding the coattails of Animal Crossing New Horizons' unprecedented success. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was announced on Nintendo Dream.

My bet is that Nintendo will add a ton of apartment + island customization to ape off of Animal Crossing's appeal.
That revolutionary Sega annonucement was revolutionary, but not necessarily exciting. This time, it IS a Switch game, however.
But have they even specified if it is a first-party game? On the least case, the announcement could be a japan-only family game. On the highest case... it could tie to whatever Nintendo is planning to discuss in the coming months.

I really doubt we'll be seeing Metroid Prime 4 on this generation Switch! Let's face it it's unlikely to release even in 2021! By the time it does land its going to look pretty archaic, especially compared to the next generation of games being pumped out by Sony and Microsoft.

Well the wii-u hold one of the best games from nintendo, the console was heavy underrated imo.
I had a ps4 and xbox one, and picked up a used wii-u for a bargain, let me tell you i did not touched my ps4 and xbox for one year.
It was a big surprise for me, because i did not have anything with nintendo from 2004.
So yeah bring on those wii-u titles from this heavy underestimated console
