If you've worn out your Ring-con playing Ring Fit Adventure and were hoping for Nintendo to develop their follow-up to Wii Fit for your Switch, then the upcoming FiNC HOME FiT looks like the next best thing.
It's launching in Japan on 29th October, and certainly seems to be channelling the art-style of Wii Fit, from what we can tell.
Here are more details of the upcoming fitness-related game:
About
FiNC HOME FiT is a fitness game developed under the supervision of FiNC—the most popular app in the healthcare and fitness category in Japan—based on a variety of martial arts such as boxing, karate, Muay Thai, and Kung-Fu, by combining cardio exercises with high fat burning and training to balance the overall physical strength of the body.
Based on the concept “Proper Fitness at Home,” the game features a total of 60 training programs ideal for those who lack exercise due to recent refraining from going outdoors and prolonged remote working, those dieting, and those who cannot go to the gym.
Key Features
- A “Rhythm” Fitness Game Based on Martial Arts Movements – By simply moving your body to the rhythm of the music based on the techniques and motions of martial arts such as boxing, karate, Muay Thai, and Kung-Fu, anyone can exercise and have fun while burning fat.
- Four Personal Trainers – Four unique personal trainers will suggest a daily exercise routine optimized to the player’s goal and needs. While motivating the player—sometimes strictly, sometimes kindly—they provide proper support for one’s daily exercises. The trainer voice cast includes Ayane Sakura, Marina Inoue, Kotono Mitsuishi, and Hiro Shimono.
- Supervised by FiNC, the Most Popular Healthcare and Fitness App in Japan – All 60 training programs are supervised by FiNC, the most popular app in the healthcare and fitness category in Japan, so you are sure to see results.
Would you give this one a try it if ever gets a Western release? It could be the perfect thing to keep you active at home during the Winter...

Looking at that title makes me sympathise with my dyslexic friend.
Um.... 😕
I hope the songlist is not typical mainstream Western songs like Fitness Boxing.
I was disappointed with the performance of Fitness Boxing.
And i really want more male trainer options.
I saw just only one male trainer from the screenshot.
@Anti-Matter Same. Sounds like it has more variety of exercises than Fitness Boxing.
That title will give me NiGHTMaReS.
I quite liked Ring Fit Adventure and Fitness Boxing (played far less of the latter though). I was also a huge fan of the Wii Fit series (Plus and U as well).
So I'll most likely monitor this.
i THiNK i WiLL ABSTAiN FROM THiS.
Finally , looks like Nintendo makes fitness fun again like just the Wii days.
More like, bored of trying to hunt down an MSRP priced copy of Ring Fit Adventure?
Odd that the article doesn’t speak to Fitness Boxing, as this appears to be a successor to that game far more than RingFit.
I had both and sold RingFit as it wasn’t as much of a workout as FB, and the two player simultaneous options in FB were appealing as well.
I love FB and just wish they had an online competitive mode or something like that. The local vs. mode is great fun!
I’ll for sure pick this up if a western release happens.
And anyone who hasn’t tried FB, I would highly recommend if you are looking for a good workout. It’s also pretty technically correct in terms of the boxing moves and techniques it teaches (coming from someone with over 10 years of martial arts experience).
@TimboSlice ditto!
I would actually be more curious if another game tried using the ring con.
This makes me wish for a Ring Fit Adventure DLC.
Thinking of it, this could be very likely considering the original's success.
Bored of the Rings? Sounds precious.
Hope it's not as dull as fit boxing.
So only uses joycons? No extra accessories?
Bruh, another copy of Wii Fit Plus
Here's hoping it comes here. I feel great after buying Ring Fit Adventure, and while I'll definitely continue replaying that, I would love for more variety.
