GameMill is bringing the Karate Kid spin-off series Cobra Kai to the Switch this year in video game form, it has been revealed.

A side-scrolling brawler in the same style as Streets of Rage and Final Fight, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues features an all-new storyline which is told from two sides – Daniel and his students at Miyagi-Do Karate and Johnny Lawrence and his disciples at Cobra Kai. Playing through both will reveal the full story.

The game will boast an RPG-style progression system which allows you to unlock 40 different moves and upgrade your stats. You'll be able to swap between characters, too, including Miyagi Do’s Daniel, Robby, Sam and Demetri; or Cobra Kai’s Johnny, Miguel, Hawk and Tory. 28 missions are included, and the game will feature the voices of William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, and other cast members. It will also have an exclusive soundtrack from the creators of the TV show.

Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues hits Switch, PS4 and Xbox One on October 27th.
