Wow, I'm the first comment, that's unusual
Yay, Lego Star Wars, my childhood go to game!
None of them i want to play from the list above.
There are some great games on this list, but it seems like Microsoft and Sony have more AAA 1st and 3rd party experiences this year and coming up, than Nintendo.
I have the hero pass for Minecraft Dungeons, so I'll be playing that when it comes out. Can't wait for The Skywalker Saga, looks really good and seems to have every character you could possibly want.
I'll get skywalker saga, not on day 1, but eventually.
Kinda mixed feelings about warhammer. I prefer fantasy warhammer to 40k but not age of sigmar so I'll wait for reviews and gameplay video.
Spellbreak is a nice surprise to launch in a couple of days. Its free so will definetly try that
Ugh... Age of Sigmar.
How I HATE what GW have done there. Blegh.
Well considering Nintendo wasn't really at Gamecom AT ALL this isnt' a bad haul. Also, it's the only thing Switch has besides a 7 year old port of Pikmin 3.
Good variety. It is nice that the showcases are having release dates coming soon or today on these broadcast versus sometime next year on all the content we see. HOPEFULLY, meanwhile at the Nintendo ranch they are busy living up to the Bloomberg and manufacture leaks about a 2021 Q1 new switch so they don't get left in the dust with ports.
I'm content with Nintendo and the Switch focussing on the nostalgia and the average. Let Microsoft and Sony obliterate with cutting edge and AAA. Maybe I've reached that sedentary point in gaming life where easy and comfortable takes over.
Getting Skywalker Saga next year, but on PS4 or PS5 (depending on whether I've taken the plunge by then or not - took me a couple of years to go from PS3 to PS4 due to the initial lack of essential games).
@spirit_flame I feel the same, can’t say I’m desperate for either next gen console as of yet. Nothing particularly appealing about chasing the cutting-edge these days. The only thing I feel like I’m missing out is the new (old) Tony Hawks and there are rumours of a switch port of that.
Demon Turf and the Lonely Mountains: Downhill DLC are the only things here that immediately catch my attention.
Demon Turf is a nice surprise!
And I do dig the look og Grindstone and Spinch as well.
A good list there. Except I've all but given up on Doom eternal coming to the Switch.
Can't wait for Skywalker Saga!
Not much got my attention this time. I still want to play The Outer Worlds eventually.
I wanted to play the Lego Star Wars games years ago so I might get The Skywalker Saga on sale. I'd only want to play through the PT and OT though so I don't know how worth it it would be...actually I have The Complete Saga on 360 (I went to check because I forgot, that is how long its been since I've played my 360), I might skip it on Switch. Sorry to those who like the new movies I just...really don't.
@graysoncharles Oops, fixed! Looks like you'll just have to wait until next year.
@elpardo1984 We probably think alike. I feel like drifting back to classic simulations on the pc. Knowledge and craft vs arcade skills.
Been hoping they’d bring Jurassic World Evolution to the Switch!
I hope the Lego game will keep those shiny graphics on the switch.
Space Crew and Spellbreak look decent.
Hoping for physical copies....
Can't wait for Hotshot Racing and the Monster World IV remake.
To be honest, none of the games announced in recent times have piqued my interest. I hate to be one of those Nintendo system owners but, with Nintendo staying so silent, the third party announcements aren’t doing it for me at the moment. I need some Nintendo goodness thrown into the mix for me to care. I only feel that way about Nintendo. Sony can stay silent, and, although they make great first party titles, I would be ok with that. The strength and appeal to Nintendo’s systems are their games. Even though I’m thoroughly enjoying the third party games. 🤷🏾♂️
I still wonder if, had this pandemic never hit, would this have been a slow year for Nintendo. If E3 happened, would we have gotten a lot of, “for 2021” announcements, with a couple of things for us this year. That would include the Mario 3D remastered collection.
Yoda with hair in Lego Star Wars is funny 🤪 - at time stamp 1:45. Looking forward to how Hotshot Racing reviews.

Lego Star Wars is on my list. Lego games are a good fit for the Switch.
The first Little Nightmares I found got more annoying than entertaining. Still not finished it, one of those games I only love it for the art.
As usual with the Switch - a pile of random "meh" stuff and 1 game you need to pin all your hopes on.
Hooray for DLC for Doom Eternal on Switch. But first...
WHERE IS DOOM ETERNAL FOR SWITCH???
Spinch looks WILD. I will be excited for the review.
And I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, so I cannot wait for the next gorgeous remaster.
@TimboSlice Spell real is free to play so I doubt there will be anything physical for it.
Since namco refuse to touch the ridge racer franchise anymore hotshot racing it is! And little nightmares 2 and maybe Wonderboy asha if it doesn't look so janky in the future.
Doom eternal 😆 I’ll believe it when I see it.
@Indielink A man can dream! Ninjala had a physical in Japan.... 😢
So excited to see the trailer for the doom eternal dlc considering we don't even know when the game is coming to the Nintendo switch!
so, not a whole lot. Jurassic Park on sale, Outer Worlds DLC, and Lego Star Wars for me.
I wonder when BOTW2 will be announced. It might even be released alongside the rumoured New Switch (I'll reiterate, anyone calling it "Switch Pro" is an idiot).
Little nightmares 2 did surprise me quite a bit so I might pick up the first one soon. And i also liked struggling how did you manage to forget that one on this list!
Blood Bowl 3 mayb, dunno never heard of 1 or 2 and nobody mentioned it so who knows...
Kind of interested in Space Crew if it doesn't involve manic management.
Blood Bowl and War Hammer...
Guilty pleasure, I love the Lego Star wars games. My dad and I played the prequel games together on our PS2, and I got the old saga one with all six episodes on the Wii as well. This and SpongeBob bfbb were my biggest games as a child. All of them came back in some way this year, so yay nostalgia.
Now only if they did something with sly Cooper and crash team racing, I'd be happy as a clam.
Edit: I completely forgot about nitro fueled when I wrote this, probably for the better
If Spinch reviews 7 or higher I’d give it a whirl .
That’s a lot of upcoming games then. Without 1st party titles
For YEARS people have clamoured for third party support for Nintendo, now we have it, they aren’t releasing enough of their own stuff 🙃 damned if you do, damned if you don’t me thinks.
I mean, the market is flooded with games, not all of them are anything like worth your time but still...
Star Wars is on my must have list, the original games were fantastic, those and the Indiana ones helped me get pretty hooked on the lego games overall. Little Nighmares 2 is a day one; must get the first out again and have another go. Need to have a proper look through some of the others on here too.
What a horrible list of games. Im not buying any of these. Do game developers actually listen to what people want. Or they just make a bunch of crap because they got paid to
Hmm, interesting announcements! It ended up better than I thought it could be
Though I still think the biggest announcements for Nintendo have yet to come.
@KnightsTemplar every single one of these games either has a dedicated fan base, or a specific audience it is for, so yes, people did want these games. If none of these are for you that's fine, but don't go bashing the devs for not giving something you specifically want.
Article picture- Lego game
For the best games? I wasn't the only one who played the massively broken Lego World's...right?
@Allspice isn't that massively broken though? I wouldn't bother if you wanna play it on Switch.
@MathGeekDave yeah, a bit backwards, don't ya think?
the future looks as dry as a desert when it come to big third party games and the switch. The switch is hitting the same problems the wii u had: lack of proper current gen third party support. The only difference here is that the switch sold well and to me it doesn't make sense publishers aren't finding ways to make games run.
so little big games actually made it to the switch and i'm getting tired of all this
@Agramonte What does pinning your hopes on a game even mean? Unless you're a developer and you are literally talking about potentially going bankrupt, it sounds like nothing but Building A Disparaging Narrative Designed To Persuade The Ignorant.
Wish it wasn't just Skywalker Saga but all of TCW and Rebels and Solo and Rogue One also packaged in…
A boy can dream
@Dman10 Nintendo has released more first party games already this year than Sony or Microsoft will by the end of the year even if Nintendo doesn't announce anything else. It's basic math. That's not me saying all of those were good or better, just saying amount wise, that's not true. Also, Nintendo definitely has more to announce.
Am I the only Wonder Boy fan here who thinks the Monster World IV remake, Asha in Monster World, looks kind of bad? The gameplay seems a tad clunky and visually it looks like kind of like an upscaled DS game. It's particularly unattractive when compared to the incredibly gorgeous Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap remake we got a few years ago and more recently, the attractive Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom.
I love Monster World IV, but.. I think I'd rather just play the original. That still looks better to me.
Yay DOOM: ETERNAL DLC.... Oh, yeah, why is this on a list of Switch games?
@Deltath
I thought the same thing. DotEmu has other things to do... ; )
@WhiteTrashGuy I didn't realize until you said that what else they were working on. I've enjoyed Streets of Rage 4 and I'm quite looking forward to Windjammers 2... if it ever comes out!
@Deltath
This one looks like a mobile game...
@MeowMeowKins I don't know how broken The Outer Worlds is right now. I'll figure out what state it's in when I'm ready to buy it and decide then.
lego star wars looks great.
hot shot racing looks fun.
def will be playing spellbreak.
demon turf i still think could use a 3d form for the character like hatkid and or a speed up in fps.
overall sweet showcase
Wow, not a single game i care about. That sucks ☹️
@CairiB
Logical, poignant...the truth! Well done! I always go back to that ‘one dude’s’ line: if you have a Switch and don’t have a (Ridiculous) backlog, you’re doing it wrong! That, or your spare time, without video games, is tragically barren...
At its current catalog, with all intended purchases accounted for, I wouldn’t need a new system until 2024...and I’m a proud Wii U owner that is too prideful to ever double-dip (and yes, that includes Mario Kart 8).
@CodyDogg thank you ☺️ I just don’t get it honestly, personally I have so many to play and I know I haven’t got anywhere near as many as some so I just don’t get all the annoyance...
