To combat the cancellation of E3 this year, Ubisoft announced it would be hosting its very own event known as 'Ubisoft Forward'. During the original one in July, we found out it would be broadcasting another one later on in the year around the time of September.
An update on the official Ubisoft website has now confirmed its next show will take place on 10th September, where you'll be able to catch "big announcements, new games, and surprises as they're revealed". Here are the times:
Apart from the renamed title Gods & Monsters - now officially known as Immortals Fenyx Rising - here's what to expect from the main show:
The main show kicks-off at 12:00 PM PDT, when you can see what’s in store for games like Watch Dogs: Legion, Hyper Scape, and Rainbow Six Siege, as well as a much-anticipated update on our new IP, Immortals Fenyx Rising, formerly known as Gods & Monsters, and more yet-to-be revealed surprises. If you still can’t get enough, stick around after the main show to see deep dives into two unreleased titles, exclusive to this edition of Ubisoft Forward.
An hour before the main show, fans will be able to tune in for a Brawlhalla matchup featuring the Ubisoft news team and Blue Mammoth developers. There'll also be updates during this part of the show for Roller Champions, For Honor, The Division 2 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
In addition to this, you'll be able to earn in-game rewards and items by logging into your Ubisoft account during the stream. The longer you watch, the more rewards you'll get. This is exactly what will be on offer:
You'll be able to tune in on ubisoft.com/Forward, YouTube, Twitch and social media, and we'll be sharing all the Switch related updates here on Nintendo Life. Will you be watching? Tell us down below.

Hoping for a Switch reveal or two, an hour or two of Just Dance would be disappointing.
... but also not surprising
Looking forward to Immortals news.
Also hoping for some type of Far Cry Collection for Switch. 🙏
Imagine that, a publisher that announces a showcase ahead of time and doesn’t just leave fans guessing....
I will not watching the video.
But, i will wait the article about the revealed games from Ubisoft Forward and only scooping the information about the games i want to know.
Still cross my finger for games like Imagine & Petz return on console.
I got right into Watch Dogs 2 recently, it’s somehow both bland and incredibly fun at the same time. Legion looks like more of the same but with some killer twists. If they nail British humour and London’s detailed enough then it might be a real winner.
Ubisoft tried to support Wii U for a while, respect for Zombi U, (even though it wasn't that good) but they got off the wagon fast enough. I don't expect anything more than another game for middle schoolers like Rayman...
I'd accept a PoP or Splinter Cell, or even a collection of older games of them
I could actually go for a new Rayman game to be honest.
@shonenjump86 3D Rayman or 2D?🤔 Either answer is fine. I'm just still fond of the 3D ps2 Rayman 2.
With the success of Kingdom Battles and in special collaboration to celebrate a special someone's anniversary, we're thrilled to bring fans the zany world of Mario's Raving Rabbids! As your favorite plumber, team up with Rayman and the gang in the ultimate Rabbid party game.
Would love to see a new Mario+Rabbids and new Rayman.
Still looking forward to Immortals, hopefully that one is good.
Really only care about Immortals. Hopefully its further along than it seems. I’ll be tuning it to check out it’s progress.
@WoomyNNYes a 3D Rayman, I loved Rayman 2 and 3 back in the day. But hey, I’ll take a 2D game as well.
@shonenjump86 No, don't jinx it!!!! hahah 3D 3D. You said 3D 🤪Heck yeah.
Okay I know ports are a bad word to some... but I want the Ezio trilogy please. 🤷♂️❤️
Rayman M/Rush remaster.
I’d love a splinter cell pandora tomorrow remaster with that classic multiplayer gaming that was oh soooooo fun.
Maybe they will announce the next season of the management resignation battle royale
@XiaoShao If Nintendo fans interpret silence as anything other than the obvious lack of something to say, that's on the fans, not the company. Nintendo is not responsible for placating neurosis.
Starting this rumor here and now... Rainbow Six Siege cross-play and Switch announcement inbound.
I’ll take Far Cry 1-4, Zombi U, Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed 1 and 2.
@WoomyNNYes lol, alright. We are going for 3D.
I don't know... Immortals: Fenyx Rising will probably have more generic character design than Assassin's Creed, and Fenyx will probably end up literally being the name of the protagonist, which sounds like Felix but with a cute Greek spin on Nyx, with the bonus of sounding gender neutral to pick your character.
Regardless, it will be interesting to see how BOTW informs Immortals' game mechanics, after Assassin's Creed informed BOTW's game mechanics.
This is not the birthday Direct I wanted!
... but hopefully there'll still be a nice surprise.
@Wilforce Don't forget about that Beyond Good and Evil 2 port for Switch Pro
Gonna skip watching it live and just skim through it later.
They don't mention the Switch specifically. So nothing has changed. I wouldn't waste my time watching this, and any announcement for Switch can be watched later.
Keeping my expectations in check as I tend to do nowadays
Their last show was awful so I'll just wait for the trailers afterwards this time, I really don't need to see anymore of Watchdogs or Assassin's Creed.
I would die for any port of Heroes of Might and Magic 3, 4 or 5 tailored for the Switch!!!
And ofc Assassins Creed 1 and Ezio Collection. Far Cry 1 to 4 would be nice as well
@CTmatic YES!!! Just wot I was gonna write... We need far cry 3 and I don't care if the framerate is 25fps with screen tear, basically on par with the ps3 version
Nah, I'll wait for the round up afterwards.
Last time I've lost an hour of my life that I'll never have it back.
nice one, people love to moan but i enjoy watching stuff like this
With all the 'surprises' ruined by leakers no doubt.
I wont watch as it is bound to be disappointing for switch.
All it will be is:
Look at this amazing game - PS4 and Xbox only
The Nintendo Switch is not powerful enough for it
No Ubisoft you are just lazy and cant be bothered to do the work
Looking forward to no new Splinter Cell again
Since we are all expressing our wishes no matter how unlikely to ever come true, I'd say Ubi announce WD1/2 or both for the Switch. Or they may announce a Farcry collection. Though I'd love an urban open-world.
Hope it better then the last one for switch owners as besides just dance which is something that is inevitable to be released every year we got nothing
At least we know one game they'll show is going to be on Switch. Two if you count Just Dance...lol.
Haha. Funny you say that, because I completely agree. I still remember playing Far Cry 3 on PS3 and seeing those screen tears, but still not caring because I always thought Just Cause was crap and there wasn’t any other FPS’ like it (not being linear). @Brookie
@nessisonett yeah it’s a weird one watch dogs 2, that hipster stuff got to me in the end but had fun with it. Still really like wd1, it’s a bit bland but also a lot of fun. I really like the mini games that live in the smartphone, so was gutted when left out of the sequel. Also chess makes everything better! X
@Dragonslacker1 I honestly like the characters, I’m a Software Engineering student and they’re exactly like the sort of people that do my course. It’s way more true to life than the weird vigilante guy in the first game. The only thing that annoys me is that you can use guns, it makes no sense with Marcus’ character. I’ve just only used my stun gun and paintball rifle because it makes more sense. The stealthy gameplay is more fun anyway.
maybe Ubisoft is gonna anounce the rumored remake of the Prince of Persia franchise for PS4 and Switch and 3D Rayman game and a sequel to Mario +Rabbids.
@ImagineerNik And I personally can't wait to hear nothing about Beyond Good and Evil 2.
@judaspete Hahaha, yep. Add Rayman as well.
Dream list:
-Immortals turns out be a classic zelda-style game and looks great
-New Rayman game announced
-PoP collection confirmed
-Splinter Cell collection for Switch announced...And a new Splinter Cell game announced.
...Bracing for disappointment...
@Trialus PoP isn't for Switch apparently. So tbh, I'm done with Ubisoft. Their cynical BotW clone can rot in a bargain bin for all I care.
Sigh...just saw that as well...too bad.
@Trialus Got a qualified 1 out of 4 at least...Immortals not a classic Zelda style (more open world vs big dungeons), but does look really fun so I'll take it.
