I’d really love for there to be 4 player online... 2 is great already (and I almost only play with random players), but more would be more fun! 😜

I just wish they made it with a different graphics engine so it would run smoother. I had to stop playing XCOM2 because of the horrible load times and laggy play. I live this franchise but it’s just too demanding in the switch.
I would have preferred them go to a cell shaded look in-game like the cutscenes if that meant easier time on the system....

I’ll wait on a review for this one...

Never played before but enjoying it for sure. Takes a while to learn and get a hang of it, and playing in handheld is a must for the graphics, but it’s fun, it’s free, and it is running super smooth here.
I’ll give it a 7/10.

Can’t wait for this game!!!! Looks so good and the variety of characters and outfits looks very cool.
My one issue with Ninjala was that everyone looked the same right off the bat, even with the season pass unlocks.
This seems to quickly individualize players

I can’t justify full price on these sports titles... game looks good, but I’d need a demo of the rush mode, preferably online MP enabled demo, to really sell me.

I want POKÉMON Unite to drop IMMEDIATELY after the show!!!!! I’m dying for that game. Anything else I am uninterested. Unless a TCG for switch. I’d be all over that too....

I don’t get it. It looks EXACTLY like a JSRF game... I mean, shouldn’t someone get sued over this?!
I like it, but would have preferred a real JSRF game...

What exactly can you not do before locking yourself out of the DLC access point? Like: what is the point of no return.

This game is amazing and plays absolutely fine.
Bought it last year around April and there are NO noticeable glitches or hiccups. The game is a blast and definitely a must for your system if you don’t already have it.
Don’t listen to people about the bugs. They were there in the beginning it it is all fixed now for the most part. Do not be weary. Pick it up.

This game is looking a bit worse with every video I see.
I dunno, some of the animations look worse than Wrestlefest, no?! Like the collision detection is off and/or the interaction pieces seem off?
I’d need a pretty big sale to get me to take the plunge at this point, or double the roster (since most here are unknowns to me).

After reading review: “sounds like I’ll like it!”
After looking at the few photos: “looks cool, will pick it up!”
After going to YouTube to check a gameplay video: “pass”

Doesn’t look that great in motion, imho.

@Krull Why would you only play the game during odd hours? Why not normal hours? And what actually are odd hours? Says who? I can only think 11-12 might be odd because it’s right before lunch, or maybe 3-4am because that’s prime sleeping time? Maybe 4-5 if you normally sleep in late...

Anyways, to the topic at hand; no interest from me and seems silly to do this now.

Well the game is gone soon anyways, so don’t get too attached.

I haven’t even read this article, tbh.
But I love grinding.
If the game is fun and the mechanics smooth, I don’t mind at all grinding.
Most recently, I’ve put 300+++ hours into MUA3 grinding all character levels, getting rainbow iso-8’s, and unlocking rewards.
That game is so fun and grinding infinity rifts is mindless fun that I can do while watching horrible shows as chosen by my wife 😏!

The switch hand held function allows this. I love it.

I stop watching so many trailers for crappy games, or those that can’t hold my attention. But I watched all 7 minutes of this no problem. Genius!

Strange they didn’t just make a “very similar” game from scratch... can’t see development and advertising cost more than 9million?!?! But what do I know....
To me, you make a simple golf game with worms holding the clubs and I’d pretty much be sold... 🤣

@Desrever I like fitness boxing much more and felt I got a better exercise out of it, both cardio and muscle building.
I eventually sold my ring fit and stuck with FB.

The game gets boring in RingFit I found, and too much time between exercises.
I’m a fit individual so I’m coming from it from that angle, to be fair.
I also think that the ring fit game can actually cause more muscle imbalance and stress injuries due to the repetitive nature of the exercises... in playing the game youll unlock some moves that do so much more damage so suddenly you find yourself doing a very lopsided number of one motion which is NOT good for you.

FB is also multiplayer and my wife and I have a great time with it. Ring fit has no such option.

Never been against FTP games and haven’t had problems with pay to win. Played Spellbreak, Warface, Ninjala, etc and I’ve been extremely competitive in all of them paying absolutely $0. I’d eventually pay some money (mostly to support the developers in thanks) for cosmetic accessories just for fun. It seems from the photos that this will be the same. Not sure why people feel forced to pay money.
On top of it, there’s normally pretty good deals on a one time starter package that gets you some currency for cheap, so that always helps.
Anyways, game looks great and shaping up very nicely. Would love videos on it though...

No online means I will wait for it to go on deep sale or pick up a used copy for half price on kijiji....
What a shame no online.... even if it was just a competition for most photos, best, certain Pokémon, etc.... so many options.

I’m always surprised at how people vote.
In most cases the majority overwhelmingly votes for one I don’t like. In this case, I was really torn as I thought all were pretty decent and I was looking for a close 33-33-33% race, but then BAM! NA takes it by a landslide! I did vote for NA, but in this case I think all regions were winners!

@JuiceMan_V same... never loved the game. Was immediately in love with SOR4 this year though. That game is perfection to me (aside from not being able to run with everyone...)

@TheFrenchiestFry I always thought Sucker Punch was a massive nerd-dream come to life. Hot chicks, guns, swords, shotguns, nazis, zombies, dragons, robots, martial arts, giant stone statues, martial arts... it had everything you could ask for!

I can never get into these games... combat isn’t fulfilling to me... doesn’t look so hot either in handheld...

Not keen on the look of it.
Love the concept and idea, but the art style is unappealing.
Wish it was brighter too (I KNOW this is a haunted house thing, but it just looks a bit dull)

Having tried most of these, I’d say fitness boxing is actually the most engaging and effective. Of course, they all require you to actually put in effort... but if you do, FB provides the most cardio and strength building benefit.
I’ve been training in martial arts fir most of my life and the combos and moves in FB are pretty legit and actually is helping me to maintain some training during quarantine.

I really liked RingFit but found it a bit boring after a while and actually a bit straining on some muscle groups and joints due to the excessive repetition of some of the exercises... and not in a good way. You need balance in working out and this game can get a bit funny.

@Gamer83 dash would be nice for sure, and some DLC levels has been a dream of mine since day1! If more people intelligently added this to their GOTY lists instead of unworthy (IMO) games like Paper Mario, Pikmin, and some others, maybe it would have seen more attention amd DLC love!!!

This is my GOTY, tied with Ministry of Broadcast.
Just perfection, and not given enough praise at the end of the year, likely due to it coming out so early in 2020...

Zero interest in another console. I have become fully integrated into the hybrid lifestyle. Being able to play handheld while wife watches tv, then docked while she sleeps, handheld while “remotely working”, and docked when friends come over... it’s all far too convenient. And the game selection is just fine for me. I’m not a sucker for mainstream games and umpteenth sequels... so I welcome the new IPs and indies I can find on Switch.

I think someone put the games in the wrong order... they are picking from worst to first, instead of the other way around.... yikes. Like not ONE reason to get excited. And if you say DKC3 you are crazy. They should have released all 3 at one time. Spacing them out is only appealing to the same people each time... fir those that don’t care about that franchise it’s a waste....
So sad.

@Slowdive SOR4 is really good, and you can unlock the pixel art characters to use, which is so cool.
Definitely grab SOR4 if you can. Fantastic game.

Right, but if you are new to the game or haven’t had the nostalgia of Pilgrim, then this would not be a choice beat em up to pick up, compared to other games you could now buy.
Understandably newer games are better, but that’s kinda my point.
And I did play through this whole game when it came out and liked it.. but even then thought castle crashers offered a bit more value and enjoyment..

I just wouldn’t recommend this to a new player looking for a beat em up game today, who didn’t love the pilgrim franchise.
