I do enjoy poker but the virtual stuff always misses that aspect of reading your opponents. Without that element, it’s just another card game dependent on luck and nerve.
Good because that four kings casino is unbearable. Prominence poker would have been nice too.
Hold em is a game of odds. You don't need luck to win in the long run as long as you are careful with your chips.
I wouldn't mind having a good poker game on the Switch honestly. Games that I can easily play while I watch Youtube or something are always welcome as they don't eat into my regular gaming time.
Unless you're under 18, why would you want this? And in today's "woke climate", would a game that promotes gambling be allow on consoles?
I'd enjoy this on my switch. I play poker a fair bit i just hope there is other games like pot limit omaha or 7 card stud and not just holdem. Either way it does look good and to be able to play hand held on my switch is cool.
The only super turbo I care about is street fighter 2
I am down for this unless it is one of the many bad Unreal Engine ports.
But maybe it does not really matter here that much.
All depends on how fast I can actually play. If I have to sit trough 2K style loading phases, I would reconsider.
@Judgedean What has age has to do with that? 51 Clubhouse had poker and everybody was complaining that it was not deep and customizable enough.
Always loved playing poker on 360 back in the day.
Don’t know how much I’d be willing to pay for this though.
And “fully leverage next-Gen...”???? I don’t need my poker game to run beyond 8bit. Don’t waste your time.
"money won is twice as sweet as money earned"
Actually a great trailer. Anyone know who's voices it? Guy fits the trailer perfect.. he is really good.
I mean, I'll play Poker in person. But this kind of game online doesn't appeal to me at all. I'd much rather a deck building competitive card game like Pokemon, Magic or Hearthstone.
@TimboSlice oh I didn't even think this could be a pay game. There is no way with stuff like prominence poker out there I would pay. The community would be tiny.
@doctorhino but it doesnt SAY F2P.... so I’m just worried...
I’d probably pay $1... maybe 2.
But I also hate the realistic look. So maybe $1 is max.
@Judgedean It's the year 2020 and you're still using the word "woke" to write off people who understand that culture change is inevitable.
@Yanina I’m referring to the legal age for gambling which is usually 18. This game is replicating Texas Hold’em sites like PokerStars. So again, why would I play this if I’m over 18 where I can play for and usually lose real money. That’s the whole point of gambling.
@Judgedean Ah I see what you mean. But the other things are not on Switch, so that is reason enough for probably many people on this site. Including me.
Maybe with real money?
