Not sure I would wanna pay 10 bucks for Metroid fusion like the Wii u days when I could just collectively have everything for cheaper.

Have played all the tracks and am now playing Fusion. This wave is amazing. Singapore Speedway, Waluigi Stadium, DK Summit are my favourites. But Yoshi’s Island is one of, if not the best track out of every wave. It feels like part of the base game! So good. And the little Yoshis Island themed during the race and at the end are remarkable. Outstanding wave.

Well, I didn’t expect to wake up this morning and see that a cockroach has been named after a Pokémon. What’s next, they will discover a new bodybuilder pose and call it the “Buzzwole pose?”

@libersolis Harsh! But the story is as basic as it comes, so fair criticism. It does deliver a true masterclass in tactical battles, so I still enjoy the game!

Skill inheritance in the arena? Hmmmmmmm. Will be using that. I will give praise that this dlc has been doing everything right, putting in the right characters that represent the vastness of the series like Soren and Hector. Still won’t get the dlc unfortunately, that price point is too much for me. I only have the Mario kart dlc cause of my subscription to NSO. Almost every game in the series has been represented with a dlc character except for a few. Binding Blade, Thracia 776, Genealogy Of The Holy War, and Gaiden/Echoes. Thus my theory has me narrowing the last dlc character to three characters. Either Lillina, Seliph, or Alm. Which one? I don’t know. I think Alm is more likely, but all three are candidates. Maybe even a Radiant Dawn character like Sothe, but Soren is in RD too, so I think that rep is sealed.

@JONOFTHEJONS actually, arlo isn’t a bad youtuber. He may clickbait on occasion, but he more than makes up for it with his unique personality, his humor, and my goodness his laugh is the most infectious thing, it’s hilarious! I was referring to a notorious clickbaiter by the name of Nin10doland.

This feels like it was made by people who really miss those manuals that came with the physical games like the good old days. This physical version, I mean.

Gonna be an Mario odyssey promo type situation where the ad campaign will be that van driving around leading up to the movie release I think. The marketing has been outstanding. Nintendo is just on another level.

The mass release thing should have happened already. The shiny jingle is also a nice touch. I would also appreciate more modern features for these games (VAs, obviously) and also that feature from Sun and Moon that shows the stat bonuses and negatives during battle

@Eagly I second the Three Houses recommendation. One of the best video games I have ever played, period. I hadn't even touched the franchise once before that game! And while I also haven't played Xenoblade, those games look stunning too. Try both franchises for a proper TRPG/JRPG experience!

How is it that Game Freak actually gets pushed by Nintendo to release a patch for their stupid game that feels like Sonic Frontiers' Beta version with no enemies and random textures thrown together, and when they do, it wrecks the game EVEN MORE!? How is that humanly possible!

Not an anime or dragon ball guy myself, but I know people have been waiting an absurd amount of time for this series to return. It’s been a long time coming, have fun Dragon Ball Fans!

I saw this and thought it was a goof, a slip up. But nope, no Mario kart for poor Europe. At least Europeans have a better idea of which of the three games they are selecting, ha!

This system was endlessly creative. I got Smash and Alpha Sapphire with a New 3ds XL for Christmas 2015, and the system was beautiful. Alpha sapphire’s graphics stunned me, since I only owned a really old PS3 up to that point. AR Games were fun, beating that dragon thing was great. Nothing but fond memories.

The switch is one of the greatest consoles of all time. What really solidifies this is it’s insanely stacked library. This console alone is a fantastic way to experience almost the entirety of gaming history, from Pong, to Super Mario Bros, to Tears of the Kingdom!

Pretty sure Pokémon go is Pokémon gym. The whole point was to get outside and wander around your neighborhood and catch Pokémon instead of staying in your couch like a lazy head.

For the switch itself? Tough choice. It hasn’t had a generally bad year at all. Even in 2020, cause animal crossing carried that console on its back haha! But I say 2017. Hot off the press, killer game lineup even early on, nothing like it ever made.

Still, it’s nice to know Nintendo is taking action, whether it’s in their self interest or not. People still play these games online, and making an effort to fix these servers for an older generation is great on Nintendo’s part!

I’d say those are fitting names for what the Pokémon anime is all about. But will I return to watch the anime after this change? That remains to be seen, but I will definitely give it a try!

If they are describing the toads as helpless and adorable, then it makes sense that they need a strong willed ruler who will fight for their people. This take on peach is refreshing, still can’t wait for the trailer next week!

Everybody has a ‘direct’ style digital presentation these days. Level-5, Xbox, PlayStation, Sega has one for Sonic, and now capcom. Who’s next, Bandai Namco? Haha! (Please Bandai, I beg, make the 50 billionth pac man spin off). Still, mega man news? Intriguing. No one has mentioned a possible Mega Man 12 before. Is now the time?

Yeah. Now this is what it’s all about. Every single 2D metroid game (not counting remakes like Zero Mission) on the switch when Fusion arrives. And we got Prime last month! Metroid is back and better than ever! Fusion was the first of the revealed GBA games coming soon. That means Kirby and the Amazing Mirror is next! Holy cow I cannot wait!

@Anguspuss hey, you know what I mean. I mean sales this week in Japan. I know 12 mil is beyond impressive. But the game is in 6th place in the chart this week. That’s great, but not as good as it’s top position since it released. That’s all

Meanwhile in Japan, Hogwarts is getting stomped on. It’s more a NA Twitch streamer showcase game that will die down eventually. Kirby Return To Dreamland is a classic. Nice to see it return, and dominate!

I really need to halt the digital purchases, so if I were to pick something up, chances are it would have to be during the retail sale.

@Clyde_Radcliffe A lot of those tracks aren’t very unique and are quite flat and hard to work with. Some stages for the GBA which that Mario kart entry functioned as a portable Super Mario Kart, has to have some stages fully redone just to add them to Mario Kart 8. Boo lake, Cheese Land, and Ribbon Road are examples of drastic changes from the original tracks.

It is time! We got so many good tracks! DK summit, Waluigi stadium, and we are going to get more characters aside from Birdo in the future! I am so beyond ready to race with 11 other players using only Waluigi on Waluigi stadium

Y’all thought there would be a new movie tie in game? Sorry lads, we will get ‘em next time. But one of three Mario games is a good deal. For those who don’t have it, choose Mario kart! That game is great fun!

Brand new footage of Metroid Fusion? I bought Prime and that game rocked! Hopefully I will enjoy this new 2D metroid game too. We are in the Metroid renaissance!
All (poor) jokes aside, I am pumped for these GBA games. I don’t even care if they add Pokémon or not, the future line up for the GBA is more than worth it. Gonna play all of those games to death!

OBJECTION! Even if these 3ds/Wii u games aren’t in your interest, you should nab at least a few because there is a good chance you will never see these again.

I wouldn’t eat anything that popped out of a random box floating in the sky with an actual question mark on it after I punched it with my fist while jumping. Except beef jerky. Packaged beef jerky in a box is still good.

@Serpenterror I watched the introduction video to the switch home menu on YouTube a couple of days ago. It appears in contrast to the previous consoles, they were going for a simple home design; it is said at the start of the video. It’s not that they don’t support the switch that way, it’s just that they never had plans to add more themes or music or anything to the menu to begin with. Which disappoints many, I know.

Anyone who stays in the company for almost 30 years and is really good at their job should definitely get a promotion.

This game gets a lot of content to this day. It shows Nintendo has great aspirations for it
