Re: Poll: So, Did You Order A Nintendo Switch 2?

StewdaMegaManNerd

I’m praying that it won’t rain tomorrow morning, because I plan on waiting outside Target from as early as 3 AM. Hopefully, they’ll have a Pro Controller as well. Also plan on seeing if GameStop has any screen protectors, because right now it seems like they’re the only ones selling stand-alone screen protectors (I’d get a carrying case, but $40 is a bit too much). What I hope for even more is that I’ll be able to pick up the MKW bundle; I don’t really want to buy an extra $30. Also plan on getting the Switch 2 edition of BOTW. I get my next paycheck soon, so I’ll probably get Sonic X Shadow Generations (I remember sucking at the Xbox 360 version, but I was like 7 back then, and I also remember that I loved it regardless). Will definitely get FF7R when that comes out, and I’m still hoping for a part of Tekken 8. Don’t need a memory card right now. I’ll wait till they lower in price.

Re: Nintendo Shares Video Detailing New N64 Features For Switch Online

@Zufolobelisk And how many others likely rage-quit due to not being able to figure stuff out? At the end of the day, why should people care about how people play games? People using the rewind feature in Mario 64 isn’t going to kill you. Sure, if they started acting like they legitimately beat the game, then I’d be annoyed, but at the end of the day, video games are simply meant to be played, not involved in freaking wars (which is why It’s glad I wasn’t around during the Nintendo vs SEGA thing).

Re: Feature: Limited Run Talks Switch 2 Game-Key Cards, Huge Carts & Difficult Pitches

@Zufolobelisk That, my friend, was coming from a guy who doesn’t even buy physical games. I’m just saying this whole thing is stupid; the fact that having a full physical release is apparently that big of a deal is sad, but it’s also stupid that so many people act like game-key cards are even worse than the code-in-a-box. The freaking code-in-a-box, which is literally just a digital game in a case, is somehow better than the game that’s also digital and comes in a case, but once unlocked is literally the same thing as a physical game except it requires more storage and you have to connect the internet in order to access it the first time around. And yet that’s apparently so much worse than the code-in-a-box. I know it sounds like I can’t make up my mind on whether or not I’m mad about game-key cards and the like, but while I do think game-key cards are a step in the right direction, it still isn’t as nice as being able to have the entire game in the card from the get-go. But the part that really bothers me is when these publishers start acting like the others are greedy morons who hate their customers when in reality they’re just choosing the most viable option for putting their game on shelves. It’s the Nintendo vs Sega thing all over again, with each side trying to exploit the shortcomings of the other as much as possible. It really sucks.

Re: Nintendo: "Appetite" For Mario Kart And Series' Accessibility Makes It Ideal For Switch 2's Launch

@sanderev Maybe in your region you’ll be able to find them in stores, but here in the US we haven’t seen any restocks since pre-orders went out, and so far only Best Buy and GameStop have confirmed that they’ll have them in stores at launch, but they both said they’d only have limited amounts in select stores, so you’d likely have to be among the first 20-30 people in line in order to get one without pre-ordering.
Edit: Just remembered that Sam’s Club and Costco should probably have them at launch, but I doubt they’ll be there for more than a couple days.
