@RenanKJ How would they properly make an open-world Mario game that is on the scale of odyssey? It might’ve worked for bowser’s fury, but a full-fledged open-world game sounds a bit too trendy

@harrystein I think I’d rather we get no new Mega Man games than the franchise be stuck in a void where it’s unable to grow because it has to stick to it’s roots.

It’s a great console, but unfortunately most of the games right now just don’t appeal to me, and I’m still mad about the missing 3D Mario game.

I haven’t spent too much time with it, but it’s been a blast so far (I actually find the intermission segments to be pretty freshening)

@ParsnipHero That’s just how console launches are. Most of the stuff on it is just a bunch of ports and deluxe editions. It takes time for the developers to learn the ins and outs of the console in order to properly make new exclusives for the thing.

@Grumblevolcano If, and I say if, they have something special planned for SMB’s 40TH anniversary, I imagine they’d want to get the other announcements out of the way first so that they can have a direct focused exclusively on Mario

spiny shell is legit just a meme, it really is just there for laughs and cursings. Yes it appears way too frequently (I lost an online knockout tour to one) but as others hear have said there are far worse items in the game, and yes, the spiny shell can help the person who threw it (at least ime)

@Pillowpants oh sorry I was being sarcastic I fully agree that GKC are a great solution for indies to get their games on retail shelves but apparently most people on the internet don’t care and are looking for any opportunity to hate on GKCs

I am seriously starting to get sick of hearing people whine about game-key cards. It’s either that or a code-in-a-box. Pick your poison, and quit shaming publishers for using them and people for buying them.
