Re: Best Mario Kart Games Of All Time

StewdaMegaManNerd

Tour is in last where it deserves to be, but:
1. MKL straight up shouldn’t have been included, since it’s hard to compare it to the other entries
2. Super Circuit still looks leagues better than the first game
3. World being at number 5 is downright baffling. It seems like most people only played the battle mode
4. 7 was not the first game in the series to have a number at the end; that would be 64
5. Was Mission Mode in DS really that good?! Wii is way more fun (I have played both)
Just some facts and opinions (or fact and opinions)

Re: What Review Score Would You Give Mario Kart World?

I gave it a 9; Free Roam is really fun for a quick romp, but it doesn’t really have anything worthwhile to keep you playing. Grand Prix is also fun, as usual, but the whole “traveling from one course to another” gimmick doesn’t work that well, since you don’t reach the destination until the last lap, meaning you barely get to experience the track. Battle Mode is kind of disappointing. What it does offer is fun, but the lack of different modes does not do well for it in terms of replayability. Still a great time, though. But Knock-Out Tour is way more than a great time. It’s a total blast. 24 racers, with 4 getting cut after each lap, with 6 laps across different tracks, it all comes together to make up one of the best modes in a Mario Kart game.

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch 2 - A Faster, Slicker, Sexier Switch

Loving it; the build quality is great and the screen is gorgeous (and this is coming from someone who has the OLED Switch). MKW is fun, and the upgraded BOTW is also fantastic, though I do vastly prefer Mario Odyssey. Battery life is a bit disappointing, though. Also wish there were more exclusive games, but it won’t be long before they start piling up.

Re: Review: Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour - Surprising, Delightful, And You Know Where It Belongs

@Henmii Excuse me?! This all started with Switch 2?! The Switch in its first year was basically a repackaged Wii U, and they were selling a bunch of old games at full price. NSO did not seem worth it at the time. And the Expansion Pack was even worse. And the Switch is still being sold at full price at $150 less than a Switch 2, which, besides the abysmal battery life, is a huge upgrade. Also, the Joy-Cons are much, much better. They actually stick to the console! The Switch 1 Joy-Cons, while cool at the time, have not held up. And those are $80 compared to $95 for the Switch 2 versions, which again, are vastly superior. Sorry for rambling, but I just don’t see why so many people think this new generation of Nintendo is so awful when Nintendo during the Switch 1 generation was easily much more money-hungry.
