@FishLipFace I definitely felt the same way. I was (and still am) hoping for more depth in Mario’s character, but I guess not having much character is kind of his thing. Doesn’t mean I don’t want to see him grow more

@Toastmaster It was a kids movie and a bunch of fanservice for the nerds. As a movie, yeah it kind of sucked. As a time-killer, it’s perfect

This would have been fantastic as a mini console. Really bummed that it isn’t that.

Let’s see…you need an expansion pack for NSO, which is $50. Then you need to buy an accessory in order to even use it. And you have to shove your head into the thing in order to play the games, which are only displayed in red and black and appear in stereoscopic 3d, which means you’ll almost definitely get headaches after playing this for 30 minutes…I’ll pass. Also it’s the virtual boy. And while I do agree that having to buy an accessory in order to even access the vb library is borderline outrageous, I will admit that that’s probably the best way to experience these games, since without it they seem pretty boring. Still stupid that you need a subscription with an expansion pack, though.

From what I can tell, this looks to have more worth than BOTW’s dlc, which was one of the few instances I regret a purchase (though that may have been influenced by the fact that I literally just beat the base game but still had to wait for pay day to get TOTK)

@PharoneTheGnome what timeline do you live in??? They charge $6 for each smash bros dlc character pack (compared to $5-$7 in the Wii U/3DS days)

I don’t know about day 1, but definitely as soon as possible. I think $70 is completely fair for these two. I loved the first game and am itching to play the second for the first time
