People saw that and immediately started to act like Nintendo was slowly going to release more and more key card games. I personally never had any concern about this or any other 1st party game being a key card release.

@ChaoticIgnorance Pokémon Pokopia is a Nintendo game (they are a part of The Pokémon Company) and that was a key card. It’s unlikely they’ll do another key-card release, but the fear mongers will always be lurking

@Kingy Capcom released a bajillion versions of Street Fighter 2 back in the grand ol’ 90s, so does that mean Capcom is creatively bankrupt? No. They still release fun and creative games to this day. So why does Nintendo doing the same for one specific franchise mean they have absolutely no new ideas in general? I don’t understand what you’re trying to say

@Kingy I mean…half of the games in the Star Fox franchise are the same thing, story and all. All this is doing is continuing that. If this does well, then we’ll see a brand new game

Use Nintendo Today for overviews and smaller things, keep Directs for the things that need full presentations on. It would be very underwhelming if the next traditional 3D Super Mario, Super Smash Bros., or Animal Crossing were to be announced via Nintendo Today. It would also be underwhelming if games that we already know everything about or look the same as every other game in their respective genre were still present in the Directs. Strike a balance

Almost feels like they were planning on releasing the Switch 2 this year but decided they could get away with releasing it a year earlier. We’re actually getting Switch 2 games!

Great game at its core (the people who think it’s terrible obviously have no souls). It can get a little repetitive, and the “wish” mechanic is a little annoying (it would be nice if we had the option to purchase level-up gifts or items to use on the island without having to essentially grind warm fuzzies to level-up), but it’s incredibly charming and hilarious. Solid 8/10 for me.

Also, let us make jerk Miis, Nintendo
