Re: Dolphin Emulator Steam Release "Indefinitely Postponed"

Ah yeah playing old games you cannot buy from Nintendough certainly "stifles innovation". The mental gymnastics they do to justify attacking persevation is impressive.

Coorporate greed at its finest, but hey, keep playing into it with every slightly "remastered" version at full price. They know it's easily to milk sheep now.

Re: Dead Cells: Return To Castlevania Physical Edition Launches This August

I mean it would be nice to get it all physical but seeing as how this won't contain everything, might as well just keep waiting for all the DLC to finish first and the inevitable ultimate complete platinum collectors edition or whatever dumb name they come up with.

@ElRoberico It's not a metroidvania game, it's a move left to right and hack and slash everything rogue lite.

Re: Soapbox: If Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Isn’t Switch’s Swan Song, It Really Should Be

A rather pointless article when Nintendough already said Switch has some more life in it. Another year + maybe.

@BodkinDQ Amen. Almost every AAA title doesn't interest me as it's all just a graphical circle jerk now. Give me 30fps with pop in any day as long as the game has soul. Which is why Indie games are the only hope for video games to not be an endless sequel/remake cashgrab scheiße show.

Re: Switch Android Emulator Skyline Halts Development Due To "Potential Legal Risks"

It's open source so it's not like it's stopping lol. Tons of countries with talented developers that don't have such over protective laws out there. Plus PC emulation isn't stopping over it.

Still, it's absolutely amazing playing Binding of Isaac: Repentance anytime anywhere on my phone without having to bring my Switch. Can't wait for the continuation even if we won't get to see Nintendough lose in court for overstepping their bounds to kill video game preservation.

@HeeHo How so very wrong you are. Ever seen BoTW on PC with mods/upscaling? Same game but one doesn't look like total ass and can run at a solid higher frame rate.

Played more Retro Bowl on my phone than I'd ever have expected considering I haven't cared about sports since I was a kid and how very simple the game was.

But soccer is just utterly painstakingly boring in any form. Unless there's a button to make your player fly into the air and roll around in agony when someone ALMOST touches you like in the real sport, it's been a big pass for me.
