Amen. The Switch still has plenty of life in it, it's just up to the developers to care about what they're doing enough to give ports the attention they need.

While it was a decent game, it never grabbed me like Final Fantasy Tactics did. Adding a few more pixels to make it "prettier" (still looks the same to me) won't make up for the so-so rest of the game.

I wouldn't mind a CoD on Switch just to try it with the gyro controls.

Last one I bought was Black Ops 2 on Xbox 360. Haven't really seen any reason to continue with the sameness of them yet, and now they've reverted to just redoing games. Although MW2 is the pinnacle of the franchise.

I'm sure it could be done since Overwatch 2 runs a stable 30fps and it has a whole bunch more going on at any given time than any CoD match. Although CoD maps are much more detailed.

Either way it would be a super low priority game for me since it's been downhill to me for 15 years.

I couldn't care less about skins I don't even get to see while playing but man, when you find a good balanced match, its extremely fun on the Switch in handheld.

The original Monster Rancher was one of my favorite games ever. I had hundreds of my mom's music CDs labeled with what monster it gave lol.

This looks pretty cool but nothing they try can recapture the magic of generating monsters through CDs.

@VoidofLight Yeah the review came off as not being very familiar with MR games and having no clue that grinding stats is basically the game.

@Dezzy70 I guess I'll say it for the umpteenth time..it's not feasible to do a Switch Pro with China constantly threatening Taiwan, which makes 60% of the worlds semiconductors. They'd have to dramatically increase the price and still have a mass shortage. Ah why bother, I don't think anybody here understands video game world doesn't exist solely by itself out of real world conflict.

@LittIeZ It's very free to play without the sarcasm quotes as the cosmetics are overpriced and the battle pass is bad, thus making me not want to spend a penny while still enjoying playing it and I've already unlocked everyone except the new character. Doesn't get more f2p than that.

I think you'll find the vast majority of people won't boycott companies or not play their games due to unpleasant behavior by a few employees of a MASSIVE faceless corporation, that's the very loud vocal minority who thrive on likes and thumbs up. Plus it's free and not $60 + continued NSO subscription if you want to play online.

The $30 price point is nice but I have no interest in Dragon my BallZ in a DBD type game.

@Bizzyb I don't know about that. Half life/TFC had asymmetrical game modes in 2000 and I'm sure it was done way before that as well. Doubt a 2003 pacman game invented anything.

It does look pretty good for a game about, ya know, low tier horses. 6 playable poni is just laughably bad though. Maybe a future sale.

There were MANY ways for her to have gone about this (DiMaggio holding out on Futurama to get the entire VA cast more pay recently comes to mind) but waiting two weeks before the game comes out and going on a social media rant is NOT the right way to go about it.

God I hate social media. Also don't forget that $4k is for about 20 hours of work. Total. $200 an hour (most likely more) to talk seems pretty sweet to me.

Obviously it won't be on the Switch. Silent Hill will be going after those youngins who think graphics make a game good.

Maybe might get it for a future sale but probably not as overly anime stuff isn't my thing generally. $60 for a brand old new game is a big pass as well (thanks NieR for spoiling us).

Sad to see the difficulty isn't there. I found the original to be quite challenging at times.

The Bayonetta movie was pretty good if it looked like every other anime ever though. Hmm I wonder how much they paid her for that compared to the $4k offering for Bayo 3...

I should finish Inside, only played for like an hour. Was basically what I expected for $2.

Hey I called it when it was first announced. Figured they tried to be cheap and she said no. She should have grouped with the other VAs and not sign until they got better pay like DiMaggio did with Futurama.

That said, I couldn't care less if she's involved or what crimes the company behind the game has committed (you can bet they've almost all done their share, most worse than a little sexy harassment).

Boycott a game because she didn't get paid enough?! Haha...yeah not gonna happen. I'll continue to enjoy Blizzard games as well because I don't care about the nonsense behind the doors because SPOILER: every large company is going to do evil and have bad people there.

Same as last week: NieR, Fortnite, Overwatch 2 and some Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

It's been quite a fun experience and runs remarkably well on the Switch even with all the chaos going on. A great addition to it's library that will still be relevant in years most likely. Only had some weird experiences lately after the wreck of a launch as well.

If they improve the BP in the future to make it return your in-game currency (or just make the free pass not so horrible) I may get it but not with how bad it is now.

Still trying to get 50 wins to unlock competitive mode so I'll at least get some more focused and balanced matches.

2 years later and it seems the crashing was never fixed. About 5 freezes so far, had to fill on restart, and that was from a crash that happened as soon as I started and loaded my save file...

Reminds me of this Wintergaten guy who made a whole crazy piano thing to play music with 2000 ball bearings/marbles and levers and such, although not really a Rube Goldberg machine.
