Re: M2's 'Kyukyoku Tiger-Heli Collection' For Switch Has Been Rated By The ESRB

@LikelySatan Well for me at least, being in Europe, often if Limited Run publishes a game it doesn't get a physical European release, although this isn't always the case. And LRG's customer service and general quality have been on a steady decline, I believe. Add in the FOMO and extortionate second-hand prices for their games, I think most people would prefer a normal physical release in shops that's easier and cheaper to get.

Re: Sinister Fishing Adventure 'Dredge' Receives Second Free Update On Switch

@EvrgrnCmln Kinda the lack of one. There is the good twist where we discover who the main character is. But we don't know exactly how his wife died. And there's no way to actually save her. And after slowly piecing together what's been causing the mutated fish and weird phenomena, the game just ends with either you trying to resurrect your wife and the world ending, or you throwing the book back, and dying anyway. What was the point in any of the game? It's all so bitterly sad and pointless. You die anyway. Nothing made any difference. And there's no replayability. Once you know what happens, there's really no point in playing again. So for me, it just left a bitter taste, and I don't see much point in returning to it. Which is a shame, because spooky mysteries and deep sea horrors? Awesome. Totally my thing.

Re: Talking Point: How Does Switch's Year 7 Compare To Previous Nintendo Consoles?

RainbowGazelle

If you're going to mention stuff like Warioware, DLC, and ports as big releases for the Switch, then "Skyward Sword was Nintendo's last significant release in November 2011" is definitely wrong. Nintendo published The Last Story, Project Zero 2 Wii Edition, Pandora's Tower, and Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise after Skyward Sword. Kirby's Dream Collection too, in NA and JP. Granted it wasn't quite into year 7, but your statement seems disingenuous.

Anyway, I'm glad the Switch is still getting support. It's exciting to imagine how many more games I'll grab for the system before it finally dies.

@TeaCatherine It's pretty much a lost cause at this point. I'd be happy if they just pointed out when news stories only apply to NA (as this one does). NA-only news will be posted with no indication of such in the headline or tagline, then it might state deep in the article that it only applies to NA. EU-only news will have a big "only in Europe" or similar in the headline, with "not confirmed for NA" in the tagline, and finally the first line of the article will say, "This hasn't been confirmed for NA yet, but don't worry Americans, we'll update it immediately if we hear differently! Don't worry!!!!!!!" Everything is targeted towards Americans. Everyone else is secondary.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of Today's Nintendo Direct?

RainbowGazelle

An actually good-looking Mario game for once has me stunned. Warioware will be a laugh, and I'm interested in Detective Pikachu. Of course Sonic Superstars looks great, and the full Pikmin collection on Switch is nice. Might look at Star ocean, too. Overall, a pretty good Direct.
