I have an LG C2. I figured out where the HGIG settings are but I don’t have an Xbox for his next step (ridiculous step) and then everything he said after that made no sense to me, so I don’t understand what to do with he brightness bar on the second screen so I’ve adjusted it to what I think looks good.

Yes! I found the initial setup of this so confusing. The two suns were so close together in brightness I had to push it all the way to one end but both were barely visible. I'll give this a go when I get home.

I only every played the first Gex on 3DO.

The whole layout of the Nintendo Switch Online app has changed Or did that change in the last update - I didn't notice then, but I didn't notice now!

I'll be buying the Switch 1 version then.

I would love to be able to to play the Dreamcast one again. I LOVED it.

They're just a waste of plastic and will become worthless once the servers shut down. I will buy digital games but they have to be heavily discounted. I'm talking not much more than £10. I will very happily buy a game I want on physical format for full price as I know I could dig that out the cupboard in 20 years and still play it. Or it will have more value than the digital copy equivalent in that time. Game Key Cards are a waste of plastic. I do get that they do allow you to give the key card to someone else, or sell it. But once the eShop shuts down so does access to the game. So I will be supporting games that are completely on a game card.

I don't understand what Online Licence settings is.

So does that mean if you've sent the game to another system via virtual game card, as long as you're connected to the internet you can still play the game?

I'm not going to support game key cards. Complete waste of plastic that will become useless once the Switch 2 / eShop servers are no more.

I'm only buying games that come on the physical card. Or digital only games if they're heavily reduced in price.

Not buying them. And I’ll never buy a digital only game at full price.

I've got both the Mario red edition Switches. Original and OLED. So I'll probably sell the original model and keep the OLED.

I packed mine away. The motion sensing doesn't work great, the lack of being able to set different alarms on different days is a basic feature that my phone does well. My phone on Nightstand Mode is much better than this sadly because the scenes are fun.

I've already finished it so probably won't ever see this.

Wario Land 4 is my favourite, and I loved the Gamecube game as well as Shake It.

This is stupid. If anything they should be smaller. Japanese 3DS box size would be perfect! It's not like there's going to be an instruction manual.

I do need to buy this game but wonder if waiting for it on Switch 2 is a good idea.

I'm expecting this to be £380-£400. I will pay that and think it's a fair price. It's 2025. Things are expensive whether we agree that they should be or not.

But anything above £400 is going to kill it for the GP / casual market. I wouldn't underestimate the early adopter market Nintendo has increased through the Switch though.

Back in 2011 when the 3DS was released, that was too expensive and it bombed. Also because it didn't really have the games I suppose.

This isn't going to last long. You might as well change this just enough to not get in trouble, but still leave it clear that the film is an homage to The Legend of Zelda.

It's a weird video to release. I thought this might have been a DLC announcement so clicked on it. I had already played the game though so I recognised it once it started playing.

Fantastic news. They are a powerhouse developer and have been crucial in many Nintendo games development on the Switch.

Ooh it will be nice to have more variety sun the alarms.

It's this game (along with Super Mario 64) that is my introduction to N64. Listening to the title music really hits the nostalgia in such a way that Mario music doesn't though because I don't often go back to it. Beautiful soundtrack.

I do really want to buy this but I know I'll HATE the controls so much that I just won't play it.

It really need a few quality of life improvements before it goes own general sale I'd say. Unless you are a Nintendo fan, there really isn't any reason to buy this as its features are way behind was a mobile phone or smart watch can do these days.

I tried to boot this up several times over the last couple of weeks and I couldn't even get into the game. It kept throwing up an error.

The controls are going to be horrendous though aren't they?

I don’t understand the point of the comic segments though as it just looks like the level spans over the entire page. In Comix Zone each cell was its own self contained area more often than not.

I recently got the physical game. My version says it’s 1.0.6 and that I’m using the latest version of the software.

There is definitely more to it by the sound of it.

I've never played a Yakuza game properly - I have memories of maybe playing one on PS3 a loooooong time ago, probably demo of some sort. So this is perfect and £17.99 is a good price, I think. I'm surprised at this price,, so it's probably one of the first games that I'm happy to buy on release day from the eShop. I would have rather had a physical, but I'm not buying from LRG.

I've been playing it and honestly, meh. It's not my sort of game at all. It doesn't feel very Nintendo either. It feels like a standard online game of its type and one I didn't find particularly enjoyable - lots of frustrating things about it.

I loved the the other Shin-Chan game so I'll be getting this. There's also another game on the eShop like this - Natsumon? I'll probably get that too!

I will have to turn the motion sensing off on this at some point because it just doesn't work properly. It won't detect that I got out of bed until I stand up on the opposite side of the bed in which the clock placed. So when I start moving around back on my side of the bed, it things I got back in. It's weird.

So I had to get out of bed this morning on the other side of the bed, not my usual side. The Alarmo just would't register me getting out of bed. I love the kookiness of this product, but I'm going to have to turn the motion sensing off because it just doesn't work. Because of how it works I feel Nintendo really need to give us a detailed setup guide.

I really do feel like this product hasn't been tested, or even fine tuned to match the average person. It's designed to work under a very specific setup that I don't believe the majority of people have.

One thing I haven't tried yet is setting my bed to a single bed, even though I sleep in a single bed. I want to see what that does.

Woken up by Ring Fit Adventure today. Still not convinced the Alarmo is positioned correctly but it was cute.

So no European distribution then? I know Switch is region free but I’d rather not use LRG if someone else is distributing in Europe.

In the setup process my other half said you tell it what size bed you have so wondered if setting it to single bed would help if you only want it to track one person in bed? Interesting theory which I might have to try.

I don’t feel the motion sensing is satisfactory so far. The setup testing of the sensor zone was not easy and it didn’t go smoothly. How you choose the position of the alarm clock is strange and doesn’t fill me with confidence that I’m doing it right.

Where it sits on my bedside table is also not great. It’s in an always place that is in the way of everything else leaving a cable trailing across the table top and in the way of my glass of water.

Plus I sleep with someone else so that doesn’t play well with it either.

Also you can only set one alarm. I have two alarms, one of the weekend and one for the week. Can’t do that here. Just one alarm time. Though you can change the days when the alarms go off. So almost there.

Based on the above I don’t see this as being something that lasts more than a week on my bedside table.

I'm confused. Is that actually the original Switch model AND the new Switch 2 model on there for comparison or are there two models like with the current gen?

They've hardly spent a lot of time on external product design here. A bit underwhelmed by that but then, what should I expect if they're going for the same type of machine. There's no point in making a drastic change when the current form works really well. Disappointed they've stick with the four separate buttons for the d-Pad.

It's so underwhelming that I would expect this to be true.

What else is there to show? Unless there are unannounced games, which I'm sure there are, it's got to be Switch 2.

I like it when obscure games, or games that weren't released in a region get announced. It's fun to try old games, or games you never thought you'd play again.

I do also wish the Japanese language games would get translation somehow. I know the work this would take would likely make it all cost prohibitive so get why it's not being done.

I loved the demo of this so will definitely pick it up eventually.

The only games from those lists that I'm not getting are Mario Party and Pokemon.
