There'a a bit of text on the Amazon product page that says "Some English games are localizations of Japanese titles."
I'm hopeful they'll add an English locations for such a text heavy game. I mean, what's actually stopping them from actually including the Sega CD version rather than the PC-Engine version? I wouldn't be mad about that.
I'd love to buy a Switch Lite but it's not a practical purchase if you've already got a regular Switch. I still want the ability to play these games at home, but I absolutely love the super portable form factor of this Switch. The smaller size, the slightly better battery, the lack of removable parts.
If I could have both and use my original Switch as my at home Switch then I'd buy this in a heartbeat but the operating system isn't built for this type of setup.
Can I log-in to two Switches at the same time? Could I play the game at home on the original Switch, then "switch" to the Lite when I'm at work or travelling? What about games that don't support cloud saves? It might be doable for games that do support cloud saves albeit a pain in the ass to have to keep uploading and downloading saves, but for Pokemon or Animal Crossing, it's just not going to work.
It's a shame that I'm not going to be buying a piece of Nintendo hardware at launch for the first time in 27 years.
As the Switch is £279 in stories, this should have been £179. I think £199 is little too much.
I'd also love to get one though. The small(er) form factor and all in one-ness of it is tempting as a device for me to use out and about.
But the question mark over whether Nintendo will cater for people with my mindset, at least at product launch, is enough to make me hold off.
And I'm normally there for every product launch and have been since the Gamecube days. Day 1 purchaser of all hardware since, and this could be the first time I'm not.
I want to see a size comparison next to a regular Switch.
I also want to know, for example, if I already have a Switch could I use this as a device to take with me and leave my regular Switch at home? Would a gamer I play on my old Switch piuck-up right where I left off on here? Or would I not be able to sign in to my account on the Lite if I'm signed in on my old Switch. Would Animal Crossing, which doesn't support cloud saves, only work on one console, not both?
What Nintendo really need to do is persuade the third parties to allow their NES games on there. Let's get Square Enix, Capcom, Konami, Sunsoft, etc really on there.
I really want that slime controller but I'm not I'm importing it. I'll pray they release it here (ha, I mean do I really believe there's a chance of that?)
Meh. While I've not played this current Elder Scrolls game (can you even, isn't it in a closed beta?) I assume as it's mobile that it's a loot based, free to play / pay to win style game. The game play looks janky and not free roaming like Skyrim - I'm very confused by it. It doesn't look appealing at all.
Switch is the first Nintendo console that I’ve bought loads of third party titles for. This will be included! I’m super excited about this and the Welsh lantern nose thing!
You should add the officially licensed six button controllers from Amazon for those of us in the US and Europe that have to put up with the three button controller.
Yeah this looks lovely in renders but practically, it would be horrid. That sort of plastic is a fingerprint magnet and would like tired and old very quickly. The control sticks are also too close to the outer edge so I don't think they'd be comfortable. But it's a nice looking design and dock idea is pretty great. It's a little Vita looking though too which I think they should avoid.
Not having Haunted Castle and Rondo of Blood on the Castlevania Collection is really putting me off buying it. This collection I think has all the 8 and 16 bit games, oh wait, except Contra Force.
Well, the first Detective Pikachu game didn't go as far revealing that Pikachu was in fact Tim's father, even though it was heavily suggested by the storyline. The movie however did reveal that so I hope there's going to be a lot more introduced in the game.
So it looks like you'll be able to bring your Pokemon from Go, Let's Go and Bank to Home but not send them back. With Shield and Sword, you'll be able to send them and retrieve them. Interesting.
These are actually pretty damn good. Streaming now on Apple Music while at work at it's surprisingly soothing and just great at drowning out the surrounding noise without distracting me.
How are you supposed to play Street Fighter II with three bloody buttons? If I recall, you actually hold the start button and press a button or something really dumb, but goodness gracious me Sega. GIVE US THE SIX BUTTON JOYPAD.
While I dislike emulation in general what I like about reporting things like this is it shows what can be done and should make Nintendo and other companies make more effort when they try to resell their 20 year old games for £5 or £10 with no improvements. I know we're seeing some games come to us with improvements but that's still few a far between. If they could HD the Mode 7 of SNES games when they eventually come to Switch, that would be a massive bonus to everyone.
Ooooh, this has my interest! I really would love a Story of Seasons game. I guess it depends how heavily Doraemon features and if it really relies on your familiarity with that franchise. I've got every amiibo released in the UK aside from Octoling Splatoon 2 amiibo (which I will get at some point). I don't know why, I love collecting them though.

Amazon UK also have the official multi-tap for the mini here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Turbo-Engine-Coregrafx-Electronic-Games/dp/B07TDQYHQN/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=pc+engine&qid=1563188845&s=gateway&sr=8-11
But I couldn't find additional controllers.
Looks like this only comes with one controller though which is a bit mean isn't it?
