Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Endless Ocean: Luminous

ROBLOGNICK

So it's the procedurally generated maps that they've added, but I was really hoping we'd get a decent story mode and that just doesn't seem to be the case. If I didn't have the pangs of nostalgia for the Wii games, I probably give this a miss, but that's marketing for ya. I hope we get some DLC.

Re: Talking Point: What Is The Best Special Edition Switch Console?

I love my Mario Red console. The Platoon OLED is gorgeous as well.

I know that when they finally announce the Zelda OLED I'll buy that and sell my Mario Red. Even though I don't actually like that Zelda OLED all that much to be honest. I've just always had a Zelda themed console from Nintendo if they ever released one so it kinda feels like tradition. I had the gold GBA-SP. I had the Wii U, I had ALL the 3DS console variants.

Re: Talking Point: Which Zelda-Themed Nintendo Console Has The Best Design?

ROBLOGNICK

I really loved the combo of the Wii U and the black Ocarina of Time 3DS.

My favourite would have to be the Link Between Worlds 3DS XL as the Tri-Force was at least the right way up when the console was opened and in use. All other designs were upside down!

I've never seen the 2DS or 2DS XL in person. I remember REALLY wanted the 2DS XL but I don't think it ever came out in the UK / Europe. And the design is upside down again, so that's annoying. I loved how the 2DS designs started to go 3D as wll. You could press the button on the Pokeball edition that I had. The Dragon Quest Metal Slim one was so gorgeous too.

Re: Custom Robo And Its Sequel Join Japan's Switch Online Service Next Week

I know these games didn't come out over here but I really don't understand whju in today's world (unless there's some sort of rights / distribution legal issues I guess) that these game platforms can;'t just be universal. Let us play Japanese games in Japanese if we want to. Just make it clear these games never had localisations and so are only in Japanese.

And vice-versa of course. If there are any titles that Japanese gamers don't have on NSO.

Re: Review: Portal: Companion Collection - A Nintendo Debut For Two All-Time Greats

ROBLOGNICK

I'm having such a great time playing these again and the both look and play wonderfully on Switch. I hope they sell really well and we get Half-Life 2 on Switch and then maybe, finally, a new game in those series.

Is anyone else experiencing a weird error in between levels or when getting achievements on Portal 2? I get a 'unable to connect to the internet' pop-up error when it tries to load the next level or when I get an achievement. Which is weird because I know I'm connected to the internet because I get friend notifications and can go on the eShop.
