I found the translation errors be part of it's charm and for the price it was a fun little time killer, with zany quirky charm.

So glad a couple of reviews hit prior to release date. I wanted to take advantage of the 20% off pre-order bonus on the eShop, and it's every bit as awesome as I hoped it would be.

@Damo @switchvogel @Voodoo @twztid13 @Yasume Technically there's nothing wrong with this review, he gives a detailed breakdown in every area of the game from the positive to the negative. I think you guys forget that reviews are opinions and not everyone thinks highly of the same games that other people do.

Just look at the total opposite end of the spectrum on opinions for games like Hollow Knight and octopath traveler where some people praise and love the games while others trash them and think they're terrible.

I and many others agree with this review and I'm a fan of dark souls and put 80hrs into hollow knighr and had a blast. However I found this games progression system awful, gameplay uninspired, no map made it feel like I was wasting a lot of my time and the graphics were just plain ugly.

I think people need to stop taking reviews that don't agree with their views so personal, like they insulted you or something lol..

Btw suggesting to fire someone over the quality of this review in particular is apalling & just plain ridiculous.

This game looks fantastic and by that trailer quite hilarious and fun. Quite looking forward to this one.

@Cobalt I was born in he 80's and have been playing jrpg's since NES days definitely one of the best jrpg's ever made. The level of polish, excellent combat system and superb writing far outweighs any graphical complaints people might have. Although personally I think it looks gorgeous.

@SuperKMx The pro controller is only $5 more than a PS4 remote, has better gyro, NFC and HD Rumble support. I own both a PS4 Pro and a Switch and it's right on par if not better than the competitions remote. No other 3rd party wireless remote comes close to the quality of the pro controller and is always missing NFC and most importantly HD Rumble.

@Nincompoop Thats a ridiculous statement. I fundef several projects and they've all turned out fabulous and I very much enjoyed my products and games.

This was a phenomenal article. Great read and very interesting. Hope to see plenty more like it and it's stuff like this that makes this my favorite Nintendo news site.

@N64SNESU certainly did as Labo is officially in their million dollar sellers list for software.

No biggie there. The only news that bothered me and still does is that the drum controller will not be released in the West. However I have the DK Bongos which at the very least is a decent alternative since it's been confirmed it works with the GC adapter.

As much as I like the drum controller and had considered importing it through Play-Asia, the $72 price tag prior to shipping is extremely off putting and quite frankly a rip off.

Love the look of this one. Gorgeous Graphics along with some good looking gameplay and concepts, oh yes I'm in.

Well that is good news for me. I wasn’t too fond of thinking I’d have to pay $72 for a set of drums when I already have the bongos.

The absolute saddest thing to hear is that mobile gaming is 3x as big as console gaming. Sad, disturbing, and just right down awful.

Damn wish I could use my donkey konga bongos for this. Maybe it'll work I already have an adapter. Gonna have to order the drums then.

This game looks dope and the review and gameplay vid definitely had me do a 180 and take a dive into the game.

As a general movie goer and non hardcore Star Wars and movie fan. The Disney reboot films have been pretty awful. Rehashed ideas, barely any originality, and what what little originality it’s had are just bad ideas. The butchering of the original characters and the whole Solo thing. Fun movies at times but they’re not good films.

Gonna buy it while it still has the introductory sale. I have a huge backlog and I won't get to it just yet but it just looks good enough to support.

I was pretty bummed out about when you reported The Witness wasn't coming to Switch, so this looks like a palatable way to fill that void.

@Spoony_Tech I'm right there with ya Spoony, I'd say a great bargain with BB's games club plus save some space. That's a win win.

No exaggeration I've probably saved over a grand between getting rewards certificates and 20% off a game any time, regardless if it's a pre-order or not. Gotta love it.

@BlueOcean I'm in love with the resurgence of the 3D platformer and I'm happy that it's getting reintroduced to this generation. I'll definitely agree that Banjo-Kazooie & Donkey Kong 64 were prime examples of again imo superior titles compared to Crash and boy would I be all over those if they were remastered.

Can't lie I just don't think Crash games are good, they're halfway decent like 6 or 7 out 10 to be generous. I feel there are other platformer besides Mario that did platforming better but hey I guess the UK really loves them some Crash.

I gave it another try at my friends to see if I could warm up to it and it just doesn't gel with me. He feels wonky to control and it certainly isn't a tight platformer imo.

Looks like this is the game that'll be bringing me back to Pokemón after a long long hiatus. Haven't played since the original ORAS and this just looks too good to pass up. I for one am excited and I can't wait.

Bring on that hotline Miami & genital jousting 😂 but for real devolver digital has a fantastic catalog of games to pull from so regardless I'm happy about it.

Haven’t gotten it yet. So I went ahead and pre-ordered the physical plus version. Looks pretty cool.

@Cobalt Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Mario Tennis Aces & Xenoblade Chronicles 2, were not on Wii U. I'm sure I missed a few games too, so not sure what you're talking about.

And although I love monolithsoft and the Xeno series going back to Xenogears, X, was severely lacking in good storyline and their weakest entry thus far.

@SmaggTheSmug hmm I dunno I have to disagree, I put quite a few hours and beat every cup on Fast RMX and had it on Wii U, this game is definitely giving me different vibes, graphics look quite nice plus the track design seems pretty different due to how the cars can move so hopefully it's plays as good as it looks. Keeping it on my radar. (What the hell happened to Redout btw?) I love futuristic racers 😝

Never really a fan of Crash. The narrow corridor gameplay seems vastly outdated even compared to something like Mario 64 let alone Odyssey, but hey good to hear that a 3rd party game is doing so well.

Seen all the endings, beat all dream bosses, beat all DLC. This right now is on GOTY nominee status for me. 75Hrs of Metroidvania masterpiece.

Now bring on the Gods & Glory update and DLC.

No problems with that. I always rather have the content be as true to the conception that the creators and developers intended.

I was waiting on this one. I can tell the devs put a lot of love into this one since the interviews long time ago.

This needs to be in addition to.. not replaced, regardless or not if those levels were uninspired.

@Heavyarms55 there’s a couple of other FPS I believe, my mind fails me but at the very least immortal redneck is pretty good if you’re looking for an FPS with a cool twist.

Oh boy I waited on getting this on other platforms and man am I glad! Can’t wait to sink some hours into this.

@Tsusasi Check out the EA partners.progr before jumping to conclusions and spouting number like 30% or whatever you think the cut maybe. They clearly announced a program to help indie devs publish games for next to if not nothing.

@antdickens @liam_doolan guys I'm sure it's not the majority of people that get butthurt by a fun and silly article. I think some people take the gaming site a bit too seriously. These aren't world events your reporting on. Personally I very much enjoy the #Random articles, I find them fun and entertaining and I hope u keep them coming.

As far as the fortnite thing is concerned again. The press and pretty much everyone knows it's coming. It's been leaked heavily and it's all but assured it's coming to the Switch. I guess there's some real sensitive people out here and in denial that the game is coming out and don't want to accept it.

Excellent. Cant wait to boot this up all the reviews I've read ate glowing and I like the music a lot.
