I’ve picked up every Labo so far. It’s a great time with my daughter and family. Always neat and the garage is cool to tinker around with. It’s a phenomenal, charming and impressive piece of kit. A lot and I mean a lot of effort went into making this. Definitely understand it’s not for everyone but I still think it’s an impressive and respectful piece of tech applied through cardboard. Just genius lol.

This is something I can actually agree with you on. Doesn't happen often 😋

However publishers cheapening out and doing less and less is an ongoing popular trend and unfortunately our expectations and buying habits I fear will have no effect. If we don't buy it they simply will stop publishing those kind of games. It's sad and infuriating to see how greedy they've become (or always were) and will continue to be.

Yep 10 yrs behind and killing it with the fastest selling console in history lol. Clearly it appeals, this ain’t a system to compete in the graphical arms race. If you don’t like the system then it’s not for you, simple. The ~35 million+ or so sales might beg to differ with your line of thinking though.

@liam_doolan So will the review be updated to reflect this update I think it will make all the difference now to the enjoyment level of the game.

This is an amazing feat of engineering. Creator is very talented as well.

I'd be all over an enhanced "pro" model They're due for an upgrade anyway we're two years into the consoles life and it's surely lacking some necessary features.

@Spoony_Tech why would you be upset? I bought another one recently, the smash version. If they came out with a pro version I’d be mega hype. I would just sell my smash switch with normal joycons from my hacked switch keep the smash ones and sell it for $200 bucks. Offset the cost of the new one by nearly 2/3. If it’s a little more than $300 that’s still a nice savings off the new one.

I’m certain I’ll be putting a lot of time into this one. I love hollow night and 85+ hours was no joke in that game. I can only imagine it will be a similar and very worthwhile experience.

Never got to play this one before and I've heard so many good things over the years, can't wait to get my hands on this one I know it's going to be a blast.

A review isn't the end all be all, one person's opinion shouldn't be the only deciding factor. I personally read at the very least 5 reviews on the game I'm interested in, see the similarities in what they claim are pros and cons and go from there.

You'll see the differences in the experience that the reviewers had from there and then can make a more comfortable and informed decision. For some the bugs won’t be as egregious or if your a music fan the repetition won’t be a bother, those kinds of things.

@Majora101 I have nothing against the employees at GameStop, far from it I've had good friends over the years that have worked there.

However I can't begin to explain the seething loathing I feel for GameStop as a corporate entity. It's disgusting how they treat they're employees let alone customers. I can't wait till the executives see this business model fail for they're anti consumer practices and greed. They're all around just scum of the earth, again not most employees.

@Agramonte bro even in the Wii U days they had enough cash in reserves to run the company at a loss for something like 80 years. They were losing money but were still sitting on a ton of cash.

Again sounds like Nintendo to take old tech and put they're own spin on it. Look at the classic systems, not the first to do it but the first to do it well. Even the Gameboy when released was pretty archaic tech spec wise, and the tech in the switch while no slouch is also fairly outdated.

Besides this venture is clearly aimed for kids and family and will probably perform well enough to entertain for a while which is all that should be expected of this. This isn't Nintendo's attempt at competing with PSVR, Valve or Occulus so expectations really should be toned down heavily.

@Agramonte I'm not sure if your aware but since it's inception along with Gunpei Yokoi they're all about using older tech in fun and new ways, which is also highly profitable another reason they're sitting on heaploads of cash.

It's probably against company principles at this point and highly doubtful they'll ever be on the bleeding edge of tech lol.

They're whole way of developing is thinking how old tech can be used in fresh and innovative ways, so nintendo will never be another XBOX or PS hardware, spec, competitive contender. They've never pushed the limits of new tech but rather old tech. Just wanted to throw it out there in case that's what your looking for from Ninty cuz then you're going to continue to be disappointed

Just take a look at the names of the executive producers and they're credited productions. Doesn't bode well in the quality department.

I know Xenoblade 2 hit the million mark worldwide thank goodness cuz that game is beautiful. Even though I bought the season pass I even got Torna physically just cuz.

So 200K over there seems to be pretty good. Just glad to see it in the top 20 even if it's last place. Hope it keeps selling as one of the best RPG'S for the switch although DQ11 and Persona 5 will be obliterating it in sales lol.

I suggest most people do the same. I wouldn't hold my breath for the game to come, besides the fact that it'll receive a major downgrade in the graphics/performance department I don't like these kind of statements. Plus I'm not waiting that long.

I wouldn't purchase a game I'm not interested in in hopes it's brings another when they're not even the same kind of game, so I don't understand how sales for Dragon's Dogma gauges interest for DMC5.

It looks nice but wouldn’t work for me as 10 case slots doesn’t really solve my space issues, however I do like the controller holders on it and the little drawer on the bottom.

May try it out once I see a few reviews out there. Looks like it could be fun with my kid and family.

@Ricube lots of amiibo all over the stores here. Walmart, target, best buy, GameStop. They all carry a bunch still. TRU had stock too up until it's liquidation. 😢

Started with a few Smash ones on Wii U.. now I have them all 😭 (except for animal crossing cuz that series is gross.. don't understand the appeal of the game or characters at all, bores me to death whenever I try it out.)

I do mean ALL of them. Every smash series, Kirby series, Fire Emblem
series, Super Mario series, Splatoon series, Odyssey series etc.. just please keep animal crossing away from me.

It's sad that AC is one of the titles people are looking forward to the most this year. You literally do nothing but walk around talk to boring characters, play dull minigames, grab collectibles and decorate stuff.. it's so freaking boring I don't understand why people want the game. Drives me nuts.

I'm pretty excited for this, I really enjoyed the first 2. Plus 4 player co-op sounds amazing.

@Zach777 can't say I have many issues with either Splatoon or Smash. On smash I usually just remove someone from Arena due to their poor connection and Splatoon, arms and MK8DX run buttery smooth for me.

@UnbreakableAlex @graysoncharles The reason to get it on switch is to be able to play it anywhere not just at home. Most games I get on switch. Exclusives and multiplats I can't play on Switch I get on my PS4. Also I think most people that have a switch have a PC or PS4, people that own a switch only are in the minority.

For example I've held off on buying DQ 11 cuz it's coming to switch with a definite version no less however DMC5 obviously I'll be getting on PS4.

It's going to be the same for me. I love these games, but I'm waiting for a sale both physically and digitally for 4. This price gouging Nintendo Switch games is an outrageous practice and I wish people would just outright not buy them to send a clear message they need to have price parity or just be plain fair with their pricing. Greedy ass mother**** make me sick.

@impurekind what iwata and miyamoto make is peanuts compared to ceo's of say Activision and EA at around $30,000,000 USD. I'd say they're wage is much more reasonable and humble.

Activision's new CFO gets a $15 million sign on bonus as they make record earnings in company history yet layoff 800 employees.

I think it's fair to say that Nintendo's top executives and working conditions are both reasonable and fair regardless of how they want to calculate average wage.

Edit: oh and good on you citing sources and educating people about the pay gap and salary misconception. I don't know about Japan as much though so I have no contructive information or discussion to give.

Always funny to see all the fortnite haters on here. Game is fun, I don't play much cuz I have a lot of games currently backlogged and running g through them but it's a fun and good game.

Gotta love the crowd that's hating on it just cuz it's popular or just cuz they suck at it. By no means is it a bad game and to be good it takes quite a bit of skill.

These are probably the same people that hate on Apex Legends because it's a Battle Royale game but my goodness did Respawn make a marvel of a game with that. Too bad it's published by EA.

I'll get the physical cartridge for RE 0/1 I'll have a 20% off discount via GCU through Best Buy but until RE4 comes down in price since it's digital only I'm content with playing it on my Wii or GameCube.

Haha I love this guy! The steam room was always fun to watch. And the response to when we can expect the game is one of the best I’ve ever heard. “Later than you want, but sooner than you think.” Freaking wonderful.
