I havnt got a switch 2 pre ordered but this is a rediculous price from a dev known for making quality games. At double that price it would still be worth it! I hope they sell an absolute boatload of copies.

Your more likely to break your legs falling off a cliff than you are breaking a metal sword in 5 or 6 swings.

This is the way it should be. I miss the days of unlocking content through simply playing the game.

@Zeroo i wasnt in to more futuristic style of the game and menus/equiping armour etc and from what i played of it the story and characters didnt grab me. May sound sill as i know its kinda frowned upon but i like XC2 alot more.

Put about 10 hours in the X and it really just didnt do anything for me.

Brilliant! There goes any chance of a decent racing game then. All these high end ports the S2 will be getting and racing fans will be stuffed... once again. Oh wait, just buy an adaptor and use a 24 year old GC controller. FFS just use trigger stops and put this issue to bed.

Only issue is in years to come when servers are shut down you wont be able to download the game. For the foreseeable tho i dont have too much issue with this on games that NEED to use this method.

@RupeeClock im going to hold out. I wouldnt use Argos anyway as i dont feel comfortable with payment taken right away. Had an issue previously with Argos that took weeks to get my money back. Ironically it was another pre order. Im just going to hold out until launch and see what happens.

Do Currys and argos take immediate payment upon pre order?

Stopped using GAME long ago when my local store shut its doors. Id never use them online.

I will just sit back, let the scalpers scalp and the early adopters adopt and wait for stock to become availabe and reviews to appear. In hindsight, the longer i cant get one for the better for me.

@Skunkfish do you mean before or after launch? The price of the games is the only thing holding me back from pre ordering the console. I cant justify these prices for games.

Unfortunately as an old school Zelda fan neither of the latest big entries have done anything for me. Instant load times couldnt get me to love these games.

@RupeeClock because if they release it on the switch its one more reason for a fan to not buy a switch 2. Its pure business imo.

This will be the game that gets me to break and buy a switch 2 i think but i wont be getting one before its released. Nothing else got me exited from yesterday's reveal at all.

Wont add a score as i avnt completed it but after 6 hours im done with it. Didnt like the story, confusing menus and armour managment for all limbs chest etc. It wasnt for me.

Judging by some of the games you list and show interest in, this is the biggest contradiction ever.

@Purgatorium @Serpenterror MH is one of those games you need to give a little time to, especially if your new to the series. The combat can feel clunky and the item navigation mechanics (hold L1 and use a face button to scroll left and right) feel like there from the 90s because they just havnt changed throughout the years. I thought it was rubbish when i played MH3 back on the Wii then i found a weapon i liked, figured out some combos and it just clicked. I love the series now tho.

@nicc83 good luck lol. Thats supposed to be one of the most monotonous lego builds out there i think. I tend to do it bag as a time as the instructions lists or a few bags opened and then mixed up. I dont open and mix all of them.

@Broforce it is if its a boring build. I built the Ecto-1 ghostbusters car and it was pretty good but alot of the pieces are white and i started to tire towards the end. I also did Lord of the rnigs Rivendell with my wife and it was fun from start to finish and that was 6167 pieces. I think the key is to break u the build. We did that over a couple of weeks.

Doesnt bother me. They would only ***** it up by trying something too ambitious or edgy and lose what made the origionals so great. Even playtonics Yooka-Laylee couldnt live up to two origional Banjo games and they were comprised of most of the origional team. Rare are Rare by name only at this point.

Either of the broken sword games and any other point and click style game.

Imo the origounal DKC was the best design. It always will be for me.

Yup. Didnt like this game either. Played it for a few hours, did the level in the desert and that was enough for me. Glad i got it physical and didn't lose too much on it when i flipped it.

They could literally do anything to improve it. Its slow, laggy, crap sorting options, full of shovelware bloat that cant be filtered out, no user review scores, best bang for buck, lifetime sales history etc. I completely skip the store now and go right to Deku deals. So many more search options there that just makr it a painless expierience.

More power, faster UI, better joy cons and im set. Nothing else really needs to change imo.

And bring back K Rool as the villain. The boss in TF was lame af.

Love reading everyone's memories of this fantastic game. I also got it for christmas. I would have been 11 at the time. My parents and older siblings all chipped in to buy it for me as it pretty expensive and we wasnt a well off family. I was absolutely glued to the game until i completed it. Although my personal cart is long gone now and is probarbly in someone elses treasured collection its one of my most treasured christmas memories. Really is one of the greatest games of all time.

If there getting spanked by Sony in the console market they better get ready for a battering from N in the handheld market.

@PKDuckman i can also confirm that you can die. Ive only played the PS5 version and i died a couple of time. I also agree with the voice overs not being as high quality as the artwork. Amazing game tho. Took me right back.

No thanks. It wasnt a great game at all. Just go back to the roots and make something along the lines of 64. That was an awsome Starfox game.

Not that that it matters much as all these lists are subjective but i didnt really take to wonder and i didnt like Odyssey at all. For me World, Galaxy 2 and 64 will always be the pinnacle of Mario gaming.

Its great when a company has so much faith in its product that they release a substantial demo for it.
