Monster Hunter rise is probarblt my most played game ever. Closing in on 200 hours now and its incredible. Deserves to sell very well.

I love rise/sunbreak. Its more or less all im playing atm but i do hope they make a new one for the PS5 as World looked really good and made use of the extra console power. I couldnt go back to World without some sort of wirebug to dart around the maps with tho, and the online seriously sucked. Far too difficult to play with a friend last week that i was trying to get in to the series. Too many hoops to jump through, unlike Rise. He had to watch all the missions cut scenes before it would allow him to play that mission in co op 🤷‍♂️. We just gave up in the end. For someone who is sceptical of the series he left the party feeling no different.

Wasnt keen on this entry to be honest. Something was just off about it. I felt the same about Odyssey tho too. Apart from the camera, Mario 64 is the pinnacle of a 3d Mario game for me. Fantastic level and hub world design, memorable enemy and boss battles and a fantastic soundtrack. It just felt absolutely magical to play. I dont think that feeling will be recaptured again in a Mario game. With all these remakes that keep happening id love to see 64 remade from the ground up but using the 3ds version with the extra levels and characters. Whilst were at it do Pilotwings 64 as well.

This is all im playing at the moment. I just cant put it down! 160hrs in and theres still stuff i dont understand about the game. Mainly all the bolting Jems to armours and weapons and the weird melding pot etc. Ive not really needed to so havnt bothered really looking in to it yet. Such an amazing game. Its also the only game i play online. Just been grinding monsters to slowly make my way through all of the master armours. Defenately my favorite game on the switch and my 2nd most played game ever. I look forward to whatever content Cap brings to the table... although i probarbly wont understand that either.

Expectations managed.

I cant remember what it was as it was when i was very young. I know my first computer was a C64 tho so it would have been something like Dizzy id imagine.

MK8 is a decent MK game but imo the whole series is becoming stale now and needs a propper good shake up with something new adding in to the mix. More track just doesnt cut the mustard anymore. An adventure mode would be my choice. They added the low grav mechanic in to 8 but imo its pointless ans is only there just to be there. It really offers nothing to the expierience.
The best kart game imo is easily Diddy Kong racing. A great Adventure mode, lovely track design within the 4 beautifully themed worlds, collectables in said tracks, multiple crafts to pilot which in turn allows them to design off road tracks, a great power up system, a great Time attack mode where you face TT(an in game represented character) and boss races. It really is a complete, joyous racing game.
Oh.... and an African elephant on a flying carpet.

Really good game at a more than reasonable length (for the style of game) i got it on PS5 and am 1 trophy away from the platinum. Very well deserved sales indeed.

Will get this just to say ive completed the trilogy but i must admit that by the end of both games i was glad they were done and dusted. Too long of a slog in my oppinion. This looks good tho.

@TYRANACLES i agree. Ocarina is also one of, if not my favorite game. All these remasters that come out of the woodwork and they dont bother to do anything with one of the most popular games of one thee most loved series on Nintendos most popular console. Baffling.

Lets hope we dont get "stung" on the price......

Gutted this game back in the day. Really good game. Nintendo need to bring Pilotwing to the service then i will sub a year.

Also really enjoying this DLC and its the only game i choose to play online with other party members. As someone who isnt a MH vet but has done all base game hunts i still struggle with the crafting of armours and gems, smelding pot etc. It still overwhelms me. I usually just chuck on an armour thats resistant to a monsters element. Ive yet to mess about with sockets, gems, layered armours, loadouts but feel i really should get on it to help my later game builds.

Been playing this on the PS5. Its an incredibly well made game with a banging soundtrack, especially the shredder battle with the rapping👌🔥🔥. Even made me rewatch tho origional 90s movie😂. Now im looking for games of a similar style but even SoR4 feels old in comparison with no dodge, run etc. For me, its the most fun ive had this year. GOTY for me.

@GregamanX happens on ps4 too. Had it a few times when dropping off a ledge or jumping close to the roof at the start of the 2nd lvl. Usually stuck until i get hit out of the air.

@xshinox if thats the case then i will just get it then. TiT was by far my all time fave Turtles game.

Im the same as @Arzewn i dont play online at all. I do however have nintendo online but i always buy the Tetris physical version as it comes with a year online, then i sell the Tetris game 😂
I buy 1 month a year on PS just so i can update my cloud and thats it. Couple of games id like to dabble in but i certainly wont take out a yearly sub. Its a great idea but i never get round to playing the PS+ games.

The store layout isnt my biggest grioe if the buffering as you scroll down. Thumbnails sometimes take an age to load or just dont even load resulting in a quit out and load back in. Easiest way to browse the store and by far the best way to find the best discounts is to use Dekudeals.com

@xmkbest ive tried both over the last couple of years over ps4 and ps5. It actually seems to wor better doing it the way you said on -1. It happens alot less frequently now but still happens all the same. Next TV defenately wont be a Samsung.

Wish that was as simple as my PS4 and 5 blackouts. Tried everything. Something to do with handshaking between sony consoles and Samsung TV's. Guess they just couldn't get on 😂

Best thing about this port imo is that you could walk whilst crouched. None of the other ports allowed this (to my knowledge) instead, when moving whilst crouched put you in to the prone position on your belly.

Still need to grab this.

@Kid_Sickarus @Silly_G google it. The only reason that i didnt get it. Think you still can for free play mode but in adventure you csnt use controller to move around and drums plugged in to play the songs.
(EDIT) Apparently im wrong. You csn have the drum set as controller 2.

@Silly_G i was going to get this bit you cant use the drum in adventure mode. Damn crazy idea.

Wind waker HD should have been dropped for the 35th anniversary. An iconic franchise like Zelda, a system seller and all we got was one of the weakest Zelda's out there and a game and watch.

@Picola-Wicola Hades is an awsome game. The art style is some of the best ive seen and the writing is top notch too. Sure its hard and you will die alot but you will get there.

@blindsquarel yeah single player quests mimic multiplayer quest but i played them in multiplayer and it was amazing and this is coming from someone that does not like anything multiplayer. You should seriously try it mate. It makes the game so much better imo.

I will go with the booster but im waiting until they are all out.

@RubyCarbuncle i was the same mate when i first got to him. His pattern is really easy. I got to the stage where i could beat him and not get hit once. You will get there 👍. His 3rd stage is the toughest but when he charges use a super bomb

@kobashi100 defenately worth doing. So much better now ive done it. I csn play it with my fingers instead of having to whack it with the battons and getting mis hits.

@kobashi100 have you done the mod for them or do you use them as standard? Just curious.

I dont pre order anything anymore. I will just get it from Argos when its release. Probarbly for £39.99 like i did pokemon legends.
