I think that Bloodborne is the best Playstation exclusive game ever despite its problems which is (for me) mionor compared with Elden Ring, yet it's hailed as the "GOAT" by many despite "bad" graphics and frame rates plus numerous other problems.
Even if ER will looking and runs better on Switch 2 than on the base PS4 it will be considered as trash because it's on a Nintendo system.

PS6 and the next Xbox will be coming out much sooner than excepted, so Switch 2 will be hopelessly antique then, the difference will be much greater between PS6 - Switch 2 compared with PS5 - Switch.

Only No Man's Sky has done it this so far outside all those Switch 2 "directs".

Well… This is exactly what I was scared of to gonna happen. Sooo they will now for again ”wait and see” or just remeasing their first games when SW2 has sold 50m like many did with SW1. They never had dared to do the same thing on a Sony console no matter if its sale. Same thing happened with Wii U when it got a lot of 3rd party on the launch…. There’re one reason of why we haven’t seen sime other annoyncements outside all those NS2 trailers. No Mans Sky is almost only exception.
My "interest-meter" after the first trailer and all those demo videos were at 0.2 as the best. Now it's at 3.5 to 3.8, easily among the better game trailer I ever has seen. It's like an entirely different game compared with the first trailer.

Titanic Scion is still my number 1 this year and Metroid Prime 4 is number 2, this game probably on place 3-5 or something But I wouldn't gets surprised if MP4 gets an own direct which appears to be the new standard for Nintendo now which makes MP4 my most hyped game during this year, or not since MP4 also comes on Switch.
I has been negative, I know... I have now a Switch 2 which I were gifted by sheer "pity", I actually thanked no twice, but in the end I realized that you only lives once soooo. So I can't complain about it anymore.

I really don't like this... The reveal and presentation of Switch 2 has been disastrous more or less. There're so many questions remaining which are unanswered or still being very vague.
Along with the horrible state of the world right now, yet more and more people have more cash than ever now. Switch 2 has gotten $50 more expensive here in my country now in just 2 weeks because of that the value of $ is massively declining now, yet the price of Switch 2 here remains untouched, so we has already lost another $50. So Switch 2 costs here $800 now! Just for the console!

Steam Deck has only sold 4m (perhaps even below) as mostly this so far. Don't compare Switch or Switch 2 with Steam Deck.
Steam Deck is a very niche product with an extremely passionate and obnoxiously loud fanbase who worships Gabe into death.
I remember when Steam Deck were announced and internet condemned Switch of being dead, and that Steam Deck will outsell Switch hugely... Switch has now almost 155m while just 4m with Steam Deck. Switch 2 despite of all controversies will probably sell more than 4m in just 2-3 months or even in just 1-2 months.
The "Switch" brand is very mainstream with lots of exclusive games while Steam Deck is very niche with almost no exclusive games. Two entirely different market.

NS2 is 2x more poweful than PS4 but below PS4 Pro, yet I’m severely unimpressed. Something must be wrong with me. Well, that NS2 costs $750 (console only!) here in my country is a huge blow for all my hype….
But it is still a too big leap for Nintendo seriously. 10x is insane, so Switch 2 is aroround 3-4 Tflops then since Switch is at 394 Gflops or something alike.
This means that we'll se a very considerable decrease of the amount of first-party games on Switch 2 compared with Switch. I still think that 3x-5x more power had been enough for Nintendo. We'll just wait and see how this turns.
$449 for a 10x increase of power is not that bad anymore. But it's those taxes on some certain countries like mine who ruins the party. I don't want to pay like up to $200 extra in TAXES to my country, for just the console! Digital games are so much more expensive than physical games in my country now for years, so I don't even dare to think how it turns with digital Switch 2 games...
Just watched the Treehouse direct... Still not fully convicted about it yet or about Switch 2. Looks good on some parts while it looks so empty on other parts. Feels a bit boring and lifeless compared with MK8, but that's just me.
The chat were constantly clamoring "Drop the price!". Those prices will 100% hurt the sales no doubt about it. Like I has mentioned so many time snow that the majority of Nintendo fans aren't prepared to pay those prices like Microsoft or Sony fans does.

I'm a bit worried now that Switch 2 may encounter a "Wii U situation".
Majority of Wii U's bigger third-party games during the entire of Wii U's lifespan were launch games. So fast when Wii U sold poorly (because of its gimmicky nature and the price) almost everyone cancelled their games or ditched Wii U after just matter of months after the launch.
SW2 is really expensive, much more expensive in some certain countreies like mine, and that the games of SW2 is $10 to $20 more expensive will no doubt scare away so many. Nintendo's core customers are way different from Sony, Microsoft, Valve & co.
Affordability has always (almooost) been Nintendo''s strongest selling point, but not anymore.
To pay +$700 (or is it $800) for Switch 2 with one game in my country is way too much for me. It's more than the double compared with the original Switch.
Only if now SW2 gets new Mario, Zelda and Xenoblade (or a Monolith Soft) game during the upcoming 12 months will change me. But SW2 appears to be much more powerful than what I dared to dream about, so Nintendo won't release that many games on Switch 2 as they did on Switch. Perhaps like 1/3 or even less, hopefully not that much less games.

It's probably because of that they uses 32GB or 64GB (or more?) cartridges now. Mario Kart World is probably +50GB now, since Switch 2 very (for me) surprisingly supports 4K.
This suck... But don't forget those SNES game prices during the 90's, they're like almost $150 now adjusted by the inflation. Plus that SNES (outside RPG's) were way shorter than modern games.
6 for me. Too much focus on silly gimmicks and Kinetic 2.0. This feels too much Wii and Wii U for me. Many has probably already downplayed SW2 as a kiddy console despite of the sheer amount of mature rated games shown here.
But Duskbloods is a GIGANTIC flex, no it's a MASSACRE against the poor Sony. My highlight is that new Daemon x Machina game. Amusingly enough that I was for real tyhinking about that game on Switch which I liked and wondered about a new DxM game in the future, aaaand this happened!
But those prices, yikes!!! My country got a lot of stupid taxes which make sit almost $200 more expensive, the games will be like $90 ro $100 for me.
This was a big surprise. Steam Deck only got a 800p screen, so my bet were at 900p. The battery life may be a big problem here, since no secret that batter life of Steam Deck is poo poo.
It will be interesting to see how it looks on SW2 since that Eleden Ring footage looked so rough. Perhaps it's just because of YouTube's compression or not.

Those trees on the footage looks not that good. Looks like that SW2 may inherit SW's tree problems. We'll see when a new video of ER running on SW2 surfaces, if it's because of YouTube's compression or not.
ER is pretty decently good but very overrated filled of problems. It's not even close to Bloodborne, and that SW2 will get an own Bloodborne on next year.
I admit that I were wrong about some things. 4K + 120fps were a shock for me. Those games shown here looks not even close to PS4 Pro upgraded games. So Xbox 1 to PS4 (or a bit above PS4) level then.
But that Elden Ring (and some other too) footage is much below of my copy on my PS4 Pro so Switch 2 is probably not on PS4 level, or?

I have a feeling that this will happen too often on Switch 2 unfortunately...
PS6 and the next Xbox will be coming out much sooner than excepted, so Switch 2 will be hopelessly antique then, the difference will be much greater between PS6 - Switch 2 compared with PS5 - Switch.
Switch 2 won't get that many games as we wished it had to. I'll say this again, where are all those third-party Switch 2 upgrades???
Only No Man's Sky has done it this so far outside all those Switch 2 "directs".
We'll see how this turns into in the upcoming months but I'm very
pessimistic now. It's still very popular right now to puking on Switch 2 on the internet, so it may has scared off some devs now into a "wait and see" approach.

This is exactly what I was scared of to gonna happen. Sooo they will now for again ”wait and see” or just remeasing their first games when SW2 has sold 50m like many did with SW1. They never had dared to do the same thing on a Sony console no matter if its sale. Same thing happened with Wii U when it got a lot of 3rd party on the launch….
There’re one reason of why we haven’t seen sime other annoyncements outside all those NS2 trailers. No Mans Sky is almost only exception.

My "interest-meter" after the first trailer and all those demo videos were at 0.2 as the best.
Now it's at 3.5 to 3.8, easily among the better game trailer I ever has seen. It's like an entirely different game compared with the first trailer.
So much content and just on 10GB.
Titanic Scion is still my number 1 this year and Metroid Prime 4 is number 2, this game probably on place 3-5 or something But I wouldn't gets surprised if MP4 gets an own direct which appears to be the new standard for Nintendo now which makes MP4 my most hyped game during this year, or not since MP4 also comes on Switch.

I have now a Switch 2 which I were gifted by sheer "pity", I actually thanked no twice, but in the end I realized that you only lives once soooo.
So I can't complain about it anymore.
What a crazy difference compared with how it looked before, It is like an entirely new game now. I had literally no interest in the game before, but now I'm pretty interested in the game, not day one purchase still.
Titanic Scion is still my number one for Switch 2 this so far.
I can't wait to see the future of Switch 2 since this is just the beginning, just wait for some more years and we'll see the true insanity of Switch 2 then.

The reveal and presentation of Switch 2 has been disastrous more or less. There're so many questions remaining which are unanswered or still being very vague.
Along with the horrible state of the world right now, yet more and more people have more cash than ever now.
Switch 2 has gotten $50 more expensive here in my country now in just 2 weeks because of that the value of $ is massively declining now, yet the price of Switch 2 here remains untouched, so we has already lost another $50. So Switch 2 costs here $800 now! Just for the console!
I finds it quite baffling that no new Mario and Zelda has announced yet we sees this insane volumes of pre-orders...
I just hopas that not "everyone" goes to scalpers then. I'm sure of that they're always actively trying to finding a new way to blowing the system.
I finds this very puzzling that Switch 2 looks like to smashing every records ever despite the tariffs, wars, poverty, ultra expensive groceries, disappearing middle-class, taxes, frauds etc... Yet we sees this madness!

Steam Deck has only sold 4m (perhaps even below) as mostly this so far. Don't compare Switch or Switch 2 with Steam Deck.
Steam Deck is a very niche product with an extremely passionate and obnoxiously loud fanbase who worships Gabe into death.
I remember when Steam Deck were announced and internet condemned Switch of being dead, and that Steam Deck will outsell Switch hugely... Switch has now almost 155m while just 4m with Steam Deck. Switch 2 despite of all controversies will probably sell more than 4m in just 2-3 months or even in just 1-2 months.
The "Switch" brand is very mainstream with lots of exclusive games while Steam Deck is very niche with almost no exclusive games. Two entirely different market.

No other of those high-end handhelds comes even close to Switch 2, even combined together everyone.
Despite of all those controversies surrounding the price of NS2 products, it will still outclassing everything.
Because it will getting a lot of exclusives which you only can play it on NS2, while other handhelds doesn't gets exclusives.
NS2 will (99.9%) getting first-party games with Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Smash, Pikmin, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Xeno, Mario Sports, Mario RPG, Luigi Mansion, Mario Party and more.
While Steam Deck just gets what PC got.
Still it's a such damn shame that Nintendo messed up with the prices of NS2 products and that they didn't even dared bringing up the price during the actual NS2 stream really damaged their rep now.
Otherwise NS2 had easily outsold Switch then, but not anymore now.
Such pity since the power of NS2 is unreal, I as thought that NS2 were at below Xbox One for real, which is 3x over Switch. But it was actually 10x...
NS2 will be my first Nintendo console outside Virtual Boy (never available in my country) which I will not getting one copy during its 2-3 first years. $750 (probably more soon) for it in my country? Forget it!

I have never been rhis so little excited for a upcoming Nintendo console. Those prices killed everything för me. It’s almost the double in my country… I’ll just wait with those upcoming directs in the summer and autumn to evaluate my interest ant further then.
I don’t liked from what I saw with Nintendo’s new games on NS2. I didn’t getting that feeling yet this so far.
NS2 is 2x more poweful than PS4 but below PS4 Pro, yet I’m severely unimpressed. Something must be wrong with me.
Well, that NS2 costs $750 (console only!) here in my country is a huge blow for all my hype….

I was wrong. I have no problem to admit about it.
But it is still a too big leap for Nintendo seriously. 10x is insane, so Switch 2 is aroround 3-4 Tflops then since Switch is at 394 Gflops or something alike.
This means that we'll se a very considerable decrease of the amount of first-party games on Switch 2 compared with Switch. I still think that 3x-5x more power had been enough for Nintendo.
We'll just wait and see how this turns.
$449 for a 10x increase of power is not that bad anymore. But it's those taxes on some certain countries like mine who ruins the party. I don't want to pay like up to $200 extra in TAXES to my country, for just the console!
Digital games are so much more expensive than physical games

Just watched the Treehouse direct... Still not fully convicted about it yet or about Switch 2. Looks good on some parts while it looks so empty on other parts. Feels a bit boring and lifeless compared with MK8, but that's just me.
The chat were constantly clamoring "Drop the price!". Those prices will 100% hurt the sales no doubt about it. Like I has mentioned so many time snow that the majority of Nintendo fans aren't prepared to pay those prices like Microsoft or Sony fans does.
Nintendo MUST cut those prices, otherwise Switch 2 becomes the next Wii U, not at same scale, but close enough.
I will say something now for first time now, but Nintendo has gone really greedy now.
So next mainline Zelda will be $100 then.

I'm a bit worried now that Switch 2 may encounter a "Wii U situation".
Majority of Wii U's bigger third-party games during the entire of Wii U's lifespan were launch games. So fast when Wii U sold poorly (because of its gimmicky nature and the price) almost everyone cancelled their games or ditched Wii U after just matter of months after the launch.
SW2 is really expensive, much more expensive in some certain countreies like mine, and that the games of SW2 is $10 to $20 more expensive will no doubt scare away so many.
Nintendo's core customers are way different from Sony, Microsoft, Valve & co.
Affordability has always (almooost) been Nintendo''s strongest selling point, but not anymore.
To pay +$700 (or is it $800) for Switch 2 with one game in my country is way too much for me. It's more than the double compared with the original Switch.
Only if now SW2 gets new Mario, Zelda and Xenoblade (or a Monolith Soft) game during the upcoming 12 months will change me. But SW2 appears to be much more powerful than what I dared to dream about, so Nintendo won't release that many games on Switch 2 as they did on Switch.
Perhaps like 1/3 or even less, hopefully not that much less games.
I'm still not fully convicted about SW2 yet. But of course SW2 will getting 2-3 more directs during this year plus Indie & Partner directs too... I hope!

It's probably because of that they uses 32GB or 64GB (or more?) cartridges now. Mario Kart World is probably +50GB now, since Switch 2 very (for me) surprisingly supports 4K.
This suck...
But don't forget those SNES game prices during the 90's, they're like almost $150 now adjusted by the inflation. Plus that SNES (outside RPG's) were way shorter than modern games.

Too much focus on silly gimmicks and Kinetic 2.0. This feels too much Wii and Wii U for me.
Many has probably already downplayed SW2 as a kiddy console despite of the sheer amount of mature rated games shown here.
But Duskbloods is a GIGANTIC flex, no it's a MASSACRE against the poor Sony. My highlight is that new Daemon x Machina game. Amusingly enough that I was for real tyhinking about that game on Switch which I liked and wondered about a new DxM game in the future, aaaand this happened!
But those prices, yikes!!! My country got a lot of stupid taxes which make sit almost $200 more expensive, the games will be like $90 ro $100 for me.

This was a big surprise. Steam Deck only got a 800p screen, so my bet were at 900p. The battery life may be a big problem here, since no secret that batter life of Steam Deck is poo poo.

Those trees on the footage looks not that good. Looks like that SW2 may inherit SW's tree problems.
We'll see when a new video of ER running on SW2 surfaces, if it's because of YouTube's compression or not.
ER is pretty decently good but very overrated filled of problems. It's not even close to Bloodborne, and that SW2 will get an own Bloodborne on next year.

If this is indeed a full fledged Switch 2 exclusive and not a timed exclusive... So I don't dare to think how Sony and its fanbase will react to it.
Is it a Bloodborne spinoff or a path of Bloodborne universe? No not possible since Sony owns the Bloodborne IP.
Sony tried to buy FromSoftware during the last year, so this must be a near fatal blow for them now, unless it's a timed exclusive.

I admit that I were wrong about some things. 4K + 120fps were a shock for me.
Those games shown here looks not even close to PS4 Pro upgraded games. So Xbox 1 to PS4 (or a bit above PS4) level then.
But that Elden Ring (and some other too) footage is much below of my copy on my PS4 Pro so Switch 2 is probably not on PS4 level, or?
But... Seriously poor Sony! Seriously a FromSoftware Switch 2 exclusive game must be a titanic blow against Sony and their fanbase now.
I'm seriously not that thrilled with those ultra gimmicky nonsense here, this feels too Wii / Wii U honestly.
That Daemon game is my highlight here. I'm not that sure of Duskblood, it feels like a FromSoftware Greatest Hits game, too many similar character/location designs from Elde Ring, Bloodborne, Sekiro & Dark Souls games.

Too many people have to lower their impossibly sky-high expectations about SW2. Nintendo has always (almost) cared about being affordable.
The biggest reason of the success of Switch is the price, no doubt! Why should Nintendo name their next console to Switch 2 and suddenly making it to a high-end console?
Too many still believes in that SW2 will be as powerful as PS4 Pro or even PS5 despite being a hybrid console. Not a chance that SW2 will be more powerful than Steam Deck while having a bigger screen and at same time costing several $100 less.
Don't forget the Project Reality and NX hype or rumors, since they in the end ended up being less than 1/10 as powerful as the hype/rumors/speculations.

I checked out and it took PS2 eleven years to surpass the 150m mark, while it took less than 8 years for Switch. It took PS2 +14 years to sell +155m.
PS2 were first discontinued when PS4 were already on the market for some years.
But sadly Switch will never surpass PS2 even if it sells +200m, because Sony will 100% magically moving up the numbers every times when Switch approaches PS2's numbers.

Finally! We can now read the texts without hurting our eyes or sanity. What an incredible upgrade here.
Also love all those new additions and characters. The main story of XCX felt so unfinished and half-assed. But Monolith were just a tiny team then compared with how big they're now, more than 10x bigger I think.
Wonder if it will getting a post-game DLC or something alike? It wouldn't surprise me by the slightest considering by that XCX 2 + XCX 3 got it.

Nintendo is quite draconic with protecting their IP's. The same Nintendo who shoots down fanmade games with Nintendo's IP's.
Not a chance in hell that Nintendo had allowed this, that they breaks the NDAs and officially mocking on Nintendo straight on their own heads, if now it had been the real thing.

People are so incredibly easily gullible in nowadays, that's a fact. There're a lot research about it recently.
They'll believe in everything without being critical by the slightest now, it was so different for just 10 years ago.
Also why should Nintendo suddenly create a new Wii U situation that with confusing the majority of its customers? Why should this "Switch 2" looking to 99.8% exactly the same as the original Switch?

It's still massively less than the original PS4. Literally 99.9% believes in the "leak" now so forget that with that "Switch 2" is even close to a PS5, or a PS4 Pro or even a PS4. It will be below Xbox One and it will still be a huge upgrade over the original Switch.
So many people will get disappointed so fast when Nintendo unveils it for real like with Switch when everyone (99.9%) believed in all those faked "leaks" about NX being more powerful than PS4 despite being a handheld. That term hybrid console never existed before the Switch reveal. So everyone (99.9%) thought that it was a pure handheld after that infamous "leak", that oval one.
I can't wait to see and feel everyones reaction when this "hype cycle" occurs again when Nintendo announces the codename for their next console in april/may and revealing it for real in late summer to early autumn, and finally releasing it on nov-2025.
Nintendo announced the code name "Project Reality" like 2 years before its release in NA/Japan and 3 years before in Europe. This can happen again.
