According to all those rumors "Switch 2" is straight up a Switch Pro or a Switch XL.
That Nintendo has been silent this so far despite all those "leaks" speaks itself. Because no NDAs has been broken this so far, since nothing of value has been leaked yet.
I legit will be more than shocked if Nintendo INDEED releases their next console which looks almost identical as the original Switch.
Why did Sony made their consoles looking so different apart fram each other? PSX, PS2, PS3, PS4 and PS5 everyone looked different, it's just because to not confusing the customers.

I remember when I worked for a distribution company who released retail and rental movies for the whole Scandinavian in 2004. We got the ultra-hotly anticipate Star Wars Trilogy DVD box like 4-5 months before its release. The security and NDA's surrounding that product were rigorous. Those who wanted to taking a glimpse of the DVD box gets fired immediately.
"Switch 2" is a potentially $10b product. So no way in the hell that Nintendo has been this casually then. It's the very same company who shoots down every fangames so fast it gets released in the wild.
Everyone (almost) does now anything for it's 16-minutes in the limelight. Everything this far has been fake, no doubt. Otherwise Nintendo has sued them for breaking NDA by leaking. People are so impatient and desperate now that so they believes in anything.
Also not a chance that it will be close to PS4 Pro. A hybrid console with that power level will easily cost +$1000 then.
There're some high-end handhelds out on the market who're at PS4 Pro's level and they costs a fortune (up to $1500 range). Switch were a such success thanks of its affordability.
We'll see who were right when Nintendo announces it in feb/mar. The full unveiling may coming out later.
But I'm still 100% sure of that it will be very different and a lot of less powerful than allt hose faked forged "leaks" this so far.

It's amazing by how the narrative surrounding PS2 has changed in just 8-9 years.
I remember when I got boiled and flayed alive when I told for almost 10 years ago (not here, I think it was on IGN or something) that PS2 were sold so well because of its DVD-player. I was like alone on internet during that time with that narrative.

That recently Star Ocean remake is on my Top-10 (or even Top-5, why not Top-3?) list of the best looking game ever., for me then. I'll take a new Japanese HD-2D game over a generic western 3D third-person game in all days which we like gets +10 of these on every months now, which all looks the same.
I really hope that they continues with HD-2D on Nintendo's next console.
It will be so interesting to see the day when Nintendo finally thinks that it's the time to unveil their next console for real. Just don't repeat the history with Wii U which got almost its whole 3rd party library during the launch. They stopped to support Wii U so fast when the sales were disappointing. Switch has +145m now and yet EA & co refuses to support it. Wii got a lot of EA sports games and even many CoD games despite of that Wii being like 0,1% in power compared with PS3 and Xbox360.
To not forget that EA released like +80 or +90 games on GameCube despite of its awful sales!

This is a good news indeed. But it also possibly menas that "Switch 2" it will very likely using the same storage media as the OG Switch. It will be expensive now if it has 2 different slots if now "Switch 2" uses a different storage media then.
So those 32GB carts HAD to be cheaper now, otherwise all those 3rd parties will repeat that farce of using the smallest ones to saving some cash like they does with the OG Switch. Also that the 64GB cart had to be cheaper now than 32GB cart for some years ago.
I really hope not that Nintendo is going with the way of digital games in the future. 32Gb-64GB carts aren't enough for many bigger 3rd-party games if now "Switch 2" supports 2K or 4K especially with a fps higher than 30 then.
Damn! This is amazing… That they casually announced a such huge title outside a direct. Just hope that it got a better ending and hopefully a better final boss too, plus expanded story. The real "Switch 2" will to 99.8% be vastly different in the end like with NX, Project Reality, Dolphin, Revolution etc... Absolutely everyone believed in all those unreal NX "leaks" and were in denial when the actual Switch got unveiled then. This will happen again.
Heck, even if I purely speculates about that "Switch 2" will having quadruple 24K MK8LEDQ screen with touchable 7D from every angles with smell-o-vision, that it will have 1K cores with 2.7Exahz, 33.3 Petabyte RAM, 1,6 Zettabyte storage and 4.7 Yottaflops, some will for sure believe in me because it's on the internet, so it's the absolute truth then.
There're 2 thing which I can bear of waiting until then. *That Switch surpasses PS2 in 2025. *That "Switch 2". ends up being very different and a lot of weaker like with NX.

According to many Switch is a bad console because it's missing a lot features from Wii or Wii U, or from other consoles outside Nintendo's own. Like folders, achievements, music on menus, Virtual Console, Weather Channel. 2nd screen, themes, Ninja Pig and RCMADIAX games, "off-TV play", Nintendoland, 2nd home screen like on Wii U when you closes down an app/game, Netflix, Devil's Third and much more.
Yet the fact still remains rock-solid intact that Switch has now around 143m sold units, and it will be at 154m-155m on 3/3/25 according to Nintendo themselves. And that Switch alone has sold 130m (it will be +150m in the end) more than Wii U now, despite being a massively inferior console compared with the GOAT Wii U!
Switch is a success because it's a "pure" gaming console. If you wants so many apps and features on it, so just buy one computer, cell phone or tablet instead then. I really like that Switch is so clean and "simple, while both PS3 and PS4 (don't have PS5) are a confusing mess with a lot of menus and unnecessary features...

Still this is indeed not the "end" for Switch. Because no Level-5 games were shown here, so it means that we'll see 1-2 more Switch directs (regular & partner), along with 1-2 Indie showcases before 3/3-25.
Switch will absolutely get Metroid Prime 2+3 HD. Not a chance that they jumps over 2+3 before Prime 4 comes out.
I don't think that this game will be cross-generation. Too many people believes i. that "Switch 2" will getting releases of every Switch games with enhanced graphics, this won't happen! Nintendo won't releases a HD remaster of an already HD remastered game like Sony does. Also "Switch 2" will NOT have 4K or Ray-tracing, not even Steam Deck has it despite costing +2x more than Switch.
"Switch 2" will 99,9% be revealed in early 2025 and then released in 2nd half of 2025. I also think that "Switch 2" will get a Metroid Remake, and then a new entry in the Metroid series.
I think that many people has too e early wrote off Switch now, or greatly underestimates Switch. I'm sure of that the upcoming direct will blow "everyone" off.
We also will get the usually sep-direct too, plus some more partner and indies directs. Switch will continue to sell even now when "Switch 2" has been announced, or that it gets fully revealed, and after when it launches.

I still finds incredibly amusing that he loves PS5 so much despite that more than 90% of the library on PS5 are mature games. I remember that for some years ago he hated PS4 because it had too many mature games.

Nintendo games makes so much profit because they aren't that expensive and takes less time to develop, and reaches out a much bigger mass than many big games on PS or Xbox. Not everyone likes realistic games who looks all same, or are too political now.
The contrasty between PS+PS2 and PS3-PS5 is insane. During the PS/PS2 era Sony took a lot more risks and made a lot of interesting, and now during the HD era they just to 99% makes the same boring third-person game after game with the same graphic style.

That Square Enix is in a very severely deep economical crisis right now just shows how a disappointing sale of a big franchise can easily sink a studio in blink of eye. As said earlier that modern games takes too much time and costs too much to develop. A true next-generation game will easily take 10-15 years to making... and they have to sell +10m to make a profit. Not many games outside Nintendo consoles sells +10m... PS2 only had 4 different 10m sellers while Switch has now almost 25!

I still believes in that the next Nintendo console won't be a N64 to Gamecube upgrade, it will more be like Wii U to Switch upgrade in terms of graphics and performance, with some added juices. But I love to get wrong in the end. But it's Nintendo we're talking about. They won't make a high-end console with high-end specs. What can Nintendo even do with a PS4 level power with their games honestly? How will Mario Kart even improve from MK8D?
Nintendo games with realistic graphic will just scaring away so many customers. Their games are just about art style, so what's the reason of having so much power then?
Switch has almost 25x games which has been sold +10m this so far, the previous record holder was Xbox360 with 8 games. The "mighty" PS2 only had 4 games... and everyone of them on Switch are first/second-party.
They makes consoles firstly for their own sake. So they don't need that much power then.
It's not about Switch's hardware. Because there're so many games on Switch which makes this poor excuse of "port" looking like an Atari 2600 or Magnavox Odyssey game as comparison. It's about the incompetence of the devs in the end.

"Switch 2" will have the following: Steel buttons, detachable dual OLED Full-HD screens, more powerful than PS4 Pro or PS5, magnetic rails for joy-cons, 4K/60fps-120fps docked, ray-tracing, Virtual Reality, AR, built in nose trimmer, full BC with Switch games and improving them on "Switch 2", and still MAX cost $399 despite that Steam Deck OLED exists and has nothing of anything listed up above and still costs 2x to 3x more depending of your country and taxes.
Rumors = rumors. Nintendo has still not even hinted about anything "Switch 2" yet. Project Reality were revealed 2 years (or 3 years here in Europe) before Nintendo 64 came out. During the process it actually changed its name 2 times from Project Rality to Ultra 64 and then Ultra 64 to Nintendo 64. Same with that NX got revealed 2 years before Switch actually got released...
We may be much farther away from actually holding a "Switch 2" in our hands than what we wants to confess. Nintendo is always different from the others, "Switch 2" very likely turning out very different, just like with NX despite all those NX "leaks" and "rumors".

FF7 Rebirth is a huge flop it appears. FF§5 and FF7 Remake were considered as flops since they just sold 900k each in Japan, and then FF16 came and sold below 500k, and now this with FF7 Rebirth.
I don't even to dare to think what is "Switch 2" indeed is a Switch 2. If it really has the specs of PS4, even if it's a bit below, or at same level, or a bit above. It will crush completely everything in Japan which makes Switch's domination in Japan looking cute as comparison.

What is people in Japan even playing on their PS5? Just buying it for the sake of just buying it to showing their loyalty and support to Sony?

I has suspected that we can't trust the PS sales in Japan for a while now. This just proves it even further... The sales of FF7RR is laughable abysmal. No secret that the FF-brand has declined in Japan for ages now. But that FF7RR may ending up selling worser than FF16 which were sold below half million, while FF15 and FF7R ended up at +900k each.
We has seen on numerous occasions of that PS5 had +80.000 (or even +100.000) in sales for some weeks straight despite not having single one games on top-10, or top-20. While this happens and that PS5 couldn't sell more than 50k as mostly despite having a (or more than one) big game release or releases.
So what heck are they playing on their PS5 in Japan actually? PS5 has +5m in Japan and FF7RR may ending up selling below 500k, so what are they playing actually? There're zero PS5 game in Japan which has been sold 1m... This makes zero sense anymore. I presume that it's a loyalty "thing" or even a "scalper" thing, or something even more fishier thing?
It also makes me so sad to see that Japanese devs westernizes (aesthetically and politically) their games, especially series like Final Fantasy, Street Fighter (puke!), Tekken, Resident Evil, etc so much in nowadays to cater the western audience, that they aren't even the same game anymore compared with how it was before.
Well it's no loss for me since I has stopped to supporting those games. But it can't be that so fun for all those longtime fans who just helplessly watches their beloved series being butched again and again now.

Project Reality announcement came out like 2 years before it were released and became Ultra 64 and then got renamed again to Nintendo 64.
NX were revealed like 2 years before Switch were unveiled during autumn 2016.
Nintendo may reveal "Switch 2" soon but it doesn't means that they're going to actually release it in this year.
Nintendo has always been a very unpredictable company who often breaks their own rules.
That Nintendo announced this direct much later during the day is a proof enough that there's no pattern like many loves to believe about it. I saw some here at last week who claimed that it's 100% impossible for Nintendo to having a direct in the last week of feb because of "patterns".

People on internet still ignores the fact tha tSwitch has 140m now. So it will have +150m on next year, 100%. Switch is slowing down very slowly compared with NDS and PS2 which declined very fast and harshly compared with Switch.
So Switch will sell a bit over 10m during 3/3-24 to 3/3-25 which ledas that Switch is breaking the 150m barrier then. If Switch is lucky with selling around 15m instead of 10m so it will have 155m then... Which means that it ha ssurpassed NDS then and just has some more millions to surpassing PS2 in 3 less years compared with PS2.
It's really hilarious to see so many people being scared of that Switch indeed will sell +150m so they becomes overly defensive/denial about it. Can't wait until that fateful day and enjoying for myself while watching on the biggest meltdown on internet ever.
I'll tell this again... Switch has 140m now in less than 7 years! It took PS2 eleven years to sell 150m, and 14 years to sell 156m-158m which is the current mark.

Almost everyone will be disappointed when the next Switch console is just like Gamecube - Wii or Wii U - Switch upgrade. Not chance that an affordable console will have a specs similar to PS4, or PS4 Pro or even PS5 without costing +$800 to +$2000.
Also it's incredible to see that many still believes that "Switch 2" will have one Full-HD OLED scree, or even TWO of them! Just check out how expensive the Steam Deck OLED is, and it's below PS4 in power level...
So long if "Switch 2" indeed still is a hybrid console, it will 100% be at as best Xbox One's level, a bit below or above to maintaining the affordable price range plus having a good battery life (99% of people here ignores about it), nothing else.
A hybrid console at Xbox One's level will still be a HUGE upgrade. My own wishful (!) prediction is that "Switch 2" will be a bit above X1, like at 1.4-1.5 Tflops which is just a bit below Steam Deck. But Nintendo is always Nintendo in the end, so lower your expectations a bit then...
It will be probably at between 800 gflops or 1 tflops with 6 or 7 GB RAM, and a 800p screen, no OLED. I don't think that Nintendo dares to taking a risk with a +$400 "Switch 2". So the specs will be lower than expected then.
I wouldn't gets surprised if "Switch 2" is a barely 1.5X upgrade from Switch in the end, sadly.
The prices for those Steam Deck OLED's are so outrageously expensive....
I hope that more and more people realizes now that the dream about Switch 2 being on PS5 level, or even on PS4 Pro level is impossible now. It will easily cost +$2000 then if on PS5 level then.

According to the trailer, it looked fine, much better than the PS3 version which I has played before, it's not even in HD, most like at a bit above 600p range. Switch is so much more powerful than PS3. 4GB RAM vs 256MB RAM is nothing to scoff at. But in the end it's always up to the devs.
So much negativity... This isn't just for Switch, it will also be released along with PS4 next week. So that's not just "Switchtax" or on a "declining" console.

Switch has +145m now and yet EA & co refuses to support it. Wii got a lot of EA sports games and even many CoD games despite of that Wii being like 0,1% in power compared with PS3 and Xbox360.
To not forget that EA released like +80 or +90 games on GameCube despite of its awful sales!

So those 32GB carts HAD to be cheaper now, otherwise all those 3rd parties will repeat that farce of using the smallest ones to saving some cash like they does with the OG Switch.
Also that the 64GB cart had to be cheaper now than 32GB cart for some years ago.

Yet the fact still remains rock-solid intact that Switch has now around 143m sold units, and it will be at 154m-155m on 3/3/25 according to Nintendo themselves.

I don't think that this game will be cross-generation. Too many people believes i. that "Switch 2" will getting releases of every Switch games with enhanced graphics, this won't happen! Nintendo won't releases a HD remaster of an already HD remastered game like Sony does. Also "Switch 2" will NOT have 4K or Ray-tracing, not even Steam Deck has it despite costing +2x more than Switch.
"Switch 2" will 99,9% be revealed in early 2025 and then released in 2nd half of 2025. I also think that "Switch 2" will get a Metroid Remake, and then a new entry in the Metroid series.

While she leaks things waaay before its actual release. It's a huge difference between them. Since "pyro" got everything dead wrong during this year. That person claimed that "Switch 2" WILL be revealed during march and then in april, and now has been silent for the mostly.
You can't "delay" an upcoming console which hasn't been fully revealed with a actual stoned release date yet. It's just a pathetic attempt of a damage control.
The problem is that every "leaker" tells differently from each other. "Switch 2" has been at below Xnox One, at Xbox One, past Xbox One, at PS4, past PS4, at PS4 Pro, past PS4 Pro, at PS5, or even past PS5 level depending of which "leakers" were "leaking" their "facts"...
Everything is pure BS until Nintendo themselves actual fully reveals their upcoming console.
Don't trust everything on internet.

It's amazing that there're people who legit misses the awful years of Wii U, because they likes Nintendo as best when they were "underdogs"...
Also there're people who still insists that Nintendo is doing awful that they had to turning a third-party gaming studio for Sony. But the truth is that Sony's debt is 3x more than what Nintendo (who has zero in debts) has... Plus that they're the richest company in Japan despite having so few employees compared with others, and that Sony is outside top-300!
Nintendo games makes so much profit because they aren't that expensive and takes less time to develop, and reaches out a much bigger mass than many big games on PS or Xbox. Not everyone likes realistic games who looks all same, or are too political now.
The contrasty between PS+PS2 and PS3-PS5 is insane. During the PS/PS2 era Sony took a lot more risks and made a lot of interesting, and now during the HD era they just to 99% makes the same boring third-person game after game with the same graphic style.
I have a feeling that Nintendo will be among the extremely few gaming studios who survives the next video game crash, which will sadly occur much earlier than excepted.
That Square Enix is in a very severely deep economical crisis right now just shows how a disappointing sale of a big franchise can easily sink a studio in blink of eye. As said earlier that modern games takes too much time and costs too much to develop. A true next-generation game will easily take 10-15 years to making... and they have to sell +10m to make a profit. Not many games outside Nintendo consoles sells +10m... PS2 only had 4 different 10m sellers while Switch has now almost 25!

Not a chance that it will revealed during this year. Since Switch has a chance of beating PS5 this year in the sales. So this year will be the last year of Switch being the main focus for Nintendo.
Well, this is surprising indeed... That Nintendo makes an announcement of an announcement of the next Nintendo console. You NEVER knows with Nintendo.
I still believes in that the next Nintendo console won't be a N64 to Gamecube upgrade, it will more be like Wii U to Switch upgrade in terms of graphics and performance, with some added juices.
But I love to get wrong in the end. But it's Nintendo we're talking about. They won't make a high-end console with high-end specs.
What can Nintendo even do with a PS4 level power with their games honestly? How will Mario Kart even improve from MK8D?
Nintendo games with realistic graphic will just scaring away so many customers. Their games are just about art style, so what's the reason of having so much power then?
Switch has almost 25x games which has been sold +10m this so far, the previous record holder was Xbox360 with 8 games. The "mighty" PS2 only had 4 games... and everyone of them on Switch are first/second-party.
They makes consoles firstly for their own sake. So they don't need that much power then.

It's not about Switch's hardware. Because there're so many games on Switch which makes this poor excuse of "port" looking like an Atari 2600 or Magnavox Odyssey game as comparison.
It's about the incompetence of the devs in the end.
It's shockingly to see how bad it looks and it runs despite being a "simple" game. Looks like that the Switch port were their lowest priority despite getting more expose on Switch compared with PS/Xbox.
The history will repeat with "Switch 2" unfortunately. Even if "Switch 2" is at PS4 or PS4 Pro or PS5 level, it will still look and run worser than many pre-HD Nintendo games.
I wish that Nintendo should be harsher towards devs like Sony does. But Nintendo burned a lot of bridges in their past during the NES/SNES era. So no wonder that they're cautious now when Switch has the best third-party support ever since the days of NES/SNES.

Switch 2 or whatever it will be called has NEVER been announced yet nor its codename revealed yet, yet people now are 100% dead certain of that all those rumors are facts.
"Switch 2" will have the following:
Steel buttons, detachable dual OLED Full-HD screens, more powerful than PS4 Pro or PS5, magnetic rails for joy-cons, 4K/60fps-120fps docked, ray-tracing, Virtual Reality, AR, built in nose trimmer, full BC with Switch games and improving them on "Switch 2", and still MAX cost $399 despite that Steam Deck OLED exists and has nothing of anything listed up above and still costs 2x to 3x more depending of your country and taxes.
Rumors = rumors.
Nintendo has still not even hinted about anything "Switch 2" yet. Project Reality were revealed 2 years (or 3 years here in Europe) before Nintendo 64 came out. During the process it actually changed its name 2 times from Project Rality to Ultra 64 and then Ultra 64 to Nintendo 64.
Same with that NX got revealed 2 years before Switch actually got released...
We may be much farther away from actually holding a "Switch 2" in our hands than what we wants to confess.
Nintendo is always different from the others, "Switch 2" very likely turning out very different, just like with NX despite all those NX "leaks" and "rumors".

FF7 Rebirth is a huge flop it appears. FF§5 and FF7 Remake were considered as flops since they just sold 900k each in Japan, and then FF16 came and sold below 500k, and now this with FF7 Rebirth.
I don't even to dare to think what is "Switch 2" indeed is a Switch 2. If it really has the specs of PS4, even if it's a bit below, or at same level, or a bit above. It will crush completely everything in Japan which makes Switch's domination in Japan looking cute as comparison.

I has suspected that we can't trust the PS sales in Japan for a while now.
This just proves it even further... The sales of FF7RR is laughable abysmal.
No secret that the FF-brand has declined in Japan for ages now. But that FF7RR may ending up selling worser than FF16 which were sold below half million, while FF15 and FF7R ended up at +900k each.
We has seen on numerous occasions of that PS5 had +80.000 (or even +100.000) in sales for some weeks straight despite not having single one games on top-10, or top-20.
While this happens and that PS5 couldn't sell more than 50k as mostly despite having a (or more than one) big game release or releases.
So what heck are they playing on their PS5 in Japan actually? PS5 has +5m in Japan and FF7RR may ending up selling below 500k, so what are they playing actually? There're zero PS5 game in Japan which has been sold 1m... This makes zero sense anymore.
I presume that it's a loyalty "thing" or even a "scalper" thing, or something even more fishier thing?
It also makes me so sad to see that Japanese devs westernizes (aesthetically and politically) their games, especially series like Final Fantasy, Street Fighter (puke!), Tekken, Resident Evil, etc so much in nowadays to cater the western audience, that they aren't even the same game anymore compared with how it was before.

If it's for real in march, so I'll keeping the promise to delete my account here, no problem. Honestly I'll be glad if I gets proven wrong and that "Switch 2" gets revealed much sooner than excepted. But I still believe that "Switch 2" doesn't comes out this year.
Project Reality announcement came out like 2 years before it were released and became Ultra 64 and then got renamed again to Nintendo 64.
NX were revealed like 2 years before Switch were unveiled during autumn 2016.
Nintendo may reveal "Switch 2" soon but it doesn't means that they're going to actually release it in this year.
Nintendo has always been a very unpredictable company who often breaks their own rules.
That Nintendo announced this direct much later during the day is a proof enough that there's no pattern like many loves to believe about it. I saw some here at last week who claimed that it's 100% impossible for Nintendo to having a direct in the last week of feb because of "patterns".

It's incredible to seeing how fast people changes their narrative or enters into a complete denial mode.
People on internet still ignores the fact tha tSwitch has 140m now. So it will have +150m on next year, 100%. Switch is slowing down very slowly compared with NDS and PS2 which declined very fast and harshly compared with Switch.
So Switch will sell a bit over 10m during 3/3-24 to 3/3-25 which ledas that Switch is breaking the 150m barrier then. If Switch is lucky with selling around 15m instead of 10m so it will have 155m then... Which means that it ha ssurpassed NDS then and just has some more millions to surpassing PS2 in 3 less years compared with PS2.
It's really hilarious to see so many people being scared of that Switch indeed will sell +150m so they becomes overly defensive/denial about it. Can't wait until that fateful day and enjoying for myself while watching on the biggest meltdown on internet ever.
I'll tell this again... Switch has 140m now in less than 7 years! It took PS2 eleven years to sell 150m, and 14 years to sell 156m-158m which is the current mark.

Almost everyone will be disappointed when the next Switch console is just like Gamecube - Wii or Wii U - Switch upgrade. Not chance that an affordable console will have a specs similar to PS4, or PS4 Pro or even PS5 without costing +$800 to +$2000.
Also it's incredible to see that many still believes that "Switch 2" will have one Full-HD OLED scree, or even TWO of them! Just check out how expensive the Steam Deck OLED is, and it's below PS4 in power level...
So long if "Switch 2" indeed still is a hybrid console, it will 100% be at as best Xbox One's level, a bit below or above to maintaining the affordable price range plus having a good battery life (99% of people here ignores about it), nothing else.
A hybrid console at Xbox One's level will still be a HUGE upgrade. My own wishful (!) prediction is that "Switch 2" will be a bit above X1, like at 1.4-1.5 Tflops which is just a bit below Steam Deck. But Nintendo is always Nintendo in the end, so lower your expectations a bit then...
It will be probably at between 800 gflops or 1 tflops with 6 or 7 GB RAM, and a 800p screen, no OLED. I don't think that Nintendo dares to taking a risk with a +$400 "Switch 2". So the specs will be lower than expected then.
I wouldn't gets surprised if "Switch 2" is a barely 1.5X upgrade from Switch in the end, sadly.

Steam Deck is below PS4's level, with single exception of having doubled RAM, yet it costs so much more than Switch despite that the technology of PS4 is now soon 11 years old!

While there're some handhelds on the market who are on PS4 Pro level and costs at $1500 range...

Switch 2 being at PS4 level is a HUGE uppgrade for the majority, it's just a tiny but extremely vocal group of 8K/400fps/ray-tracing snobs on internet who complains about everything.

It's a completely new game for many, since many here just plays Nintendo console.
According to the trailer, it looked fine, much better than the PS3 version which I has played before, it's not even in HD, most like at a bit above 600p range. Switch is so much more powerful than PS3.
4GB RAM vs 256MB RAM is nothing to scoff at.
But in the end it's always up to the devs.

So much negativity... This isn't just for Switch, it will also be released along with PS4 next week.
So that's not just "Switchtax" or on a "declining" console.
Too many are still ignoring that Switch is still the best selling console for the mostly. And that Switch has so much more first-party games than PS4 and PS5 combined means nothing for them for the mostly it appears. They just must hate on Nintendo.
It really makes me so sad by seeing how much hate Nintendo gets when they're successful like during the NDS/Wii era or the current Switch era. It was the opposite during the Wii U era.
Well I can't wait until 2025 to see everyones reaction then when then the most inevitable and obvious thing will occur then...

I'm quite shocked by that it actually sold almost 145m during its 6th year anniversary, which it means that it outpaced PS2 by 40m! That's nuts!
But sadly the sales of NDS suddenly died afterwards. Otherwise it had sold so much more than PS2 then.
Well that's enough of me on this thread. I'll accept and respect that many people sees this matter in a very differently by many different reasons.
Just one last input.
Switch MAY have as much as 145m as mostly on 3/3-2024 which it means that Switch just needs another 10m-15m to surpass PS2. That Switch continues and had outsell PS4/X1 and PS5/Xbox-Series despite being massively underpowered, just shows that there're so much life remaining in Switch still even now.
Nintendo by themselves had by numerous occasions told that Switch will have a prolonged life-cycle.
That day when Nintendo decides to give Switch its first real price-cut, it will move a lot of more units then.
