At least they weren't lying, Metroid Prime Remastered is a lot cheaper. I am ok if they charge more for a game that takes a long time to make.

I want an unbreakable version of every single weapon type, essentially they wouldn't be super powerful and there would still be reasons to use the other weapons because some would be way more powerful but we need a base version for each weapon type.

@andyg1412 Be glad your buying power is high because games are 79.99 + 15% tax here which comes up to almost 92 a game.

It is kind of a let down that in the Switch version you cannot remap your controls within the emulator itself, Nintendo really needs to improve that aspect of their emulators to allow per game remapping not just at the OS level.

Super fun game, it is also 3 player co-op, story is pretty good as well.

As with all transitional periods within an industry it will have negatives and positves until copyright laws are properly updated for the digital age.

Something else people need to understand is that because internet speeds are not consistent across the world and games are going to be hitting the Terabyte file size within this decade, there is possibly going to be another swing back towards a form of solid state physical game storage at some point. Now this still may not be the traditional style of physical games we have today, it could be that you purchase a game online and the company mails you a high capacity cartridge that is signed to your console so it cannot be re-sold but you would also have access to it digitally.

I'm not touching my copy again until they fix the frame rate issues, glad stuff is coming out but it does ruin the experience when the game gliches are so rampant and the FPS drops to 15.

Majora's Mask 3DS, I still have mine so I am biased haha, the Hylian Shield one is 2nd for me.

@Arawn93 Yeah I get what you're saying, I agree for the most part but the fun thing about Monster Hunter for me is teaching friends how to play and optimize their character and find the right weapon for them and then I can learn a weapon I'm not used to along the way on a my new character.

@T-Rexy The problem is Nintendo is only a partial owner of the IP but it makes too many people too much money to sell in either direction. There needs to be another competent group brought in to be resonsible for quality assurance and performance and this stuff will not ahppen again.

Simple fact is the developers didn't have enough time for quality assurance and it's quite evident, it's not on them it's on the publisher pokemon company.

There's a difference between generated pokemon and hacked ones as long as the stats are possible for said pokemon there's no issues it's when everything's clearly been altered above normal levels for pokemon that wouldn't have stats that are higher.

@BulbasaurusRex Digital art/software will never be subject to the same rules, as long as you aren't selling copyrighted material in most places you are good to experience them.

Just because a small loud minority are against it doesn't mean everyone is, if you have the ability to play a game from 30 years ago and your only option is emulation it is just fine in most of the world.

Start by hacking it since Nintendo isn't preserving it.

I just use photoshop and the gms2 sprite editor for my game. Aseprite is very capable though.

As a game dev/artist I think it is pretty amazing, however as many said it won't replace traditional art but it could be a tool in our toolkit of the future helping us make our own art better.

My hacked switch has the ability to be safely overclocked and it improves performance in all games considerably.

Not sure why Nintendo is so scared of running the system in docked a bit faster, it would clear up a ton of the framerate issues garaunteed.

Age of Calamity holds an almost locked 45fps in single player with the gpu and cpu overclocked.

Pretty Sweet that people are still doing stuff like this with the Gamecube, I have been selling a lot of my GBA games but I still have my GBPlayer/GC

The MiSTer at about $400 is probably still a better place to put your money/time though covers many systems very accurately and supports modern and old displays.

My motto is support current platforms but older platforms are fair game within reason.
