Re: Community: Which Switch 2 Games Are You Wishlisting?

Well, if the system wasn't outlandishly priced then I would consider getting one. But $724 CAD after taxes for the system is wild.

Nintendo could have made three models of switch, hybrid, handheld, tv console, but once again they whiffed this.

Dropping that screen and Battery would reduce the price at least $250. Most of us people who want to play these games don't give two shites whether it's portable or not.

I mean clearly all of the consoles are going to eventually adopt the hybrid style as Nintendo has. Apus are getting so powerful that you're not even going to need dedicated video cards 5-10 years from now. What the highest end video cards do now will be able to do that in the size of a smartphone in 10 years and there's not going to be any real benefit to having a dedicated video card when it comes to gaming because of all of the AI models we have now as well.

I will keep saying it, if you abandon a hardware platform and you no longer make it available to purchase or the games on that platform everything on that platform is fair game.

Obviously support current systems and platforms whether it be subscription services that give you access to old stuff if you still like that and don't like messing with emulation, but these 20 plus year old systems in many cases shouldn't have any roadblocks in the way for their content.
