Exciting times ahead, I love when new consoles launch. This is particularly exciting due to the mystery still surrounding it all, until next week anyway. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see what's up with that 3D Mario game they showed briefly.......fingers crossed for a Mario 64/Sunshine type of game.......and that it launches with the console!

I do quite like the idea of a Samurai Mario powerup/suit in the next 3D Mario game. I can see the Hammer Bros as the Samurai Bros too, which would be pretty sweet.

@jimi every console this gen may as well be named Portstation! Nary a week goes by when we hear about some 6 month old game being 'remastered' for some odd reason.
I don't mind the Souls games, but its always bothered me has Tekken games have longer endings lol

I just want good, fun games. The power thing doesn't bother me so much, as this gen taught me: most devs don't know what to do with the extra power anyway!

Something new, something fresh is what I hope Retro are working on. Mind you it has been long enough since the last Metroid game, so I'd be happy either way (but if they are working on an existing IP I'd much prefer it to be an Eternal Darkness sequel)

It does look great, but I feel like I've seen more than enough of this game now. The next bit of Zelda info I want is a release date. Which we will hopefully get in January.

Hopefully they set up a prop toilet so Miyamoto can demonstrate how easy it is to play Super Mario Go with the runs

I was excited by the idea of Skyrim on the Switch.. until I bought the special edition on PS4. The game has not aged well at all unfortunately. Its a slow, sluggish pain in butt & the horse riding is atrocious. Plus it was really kind of Bethesda to leave all the bugs and glitches in the game:/
Its great that Bethesda are keen on supporting the Switch though. Bring on the next Wolfenstein!

This sounds so far out there, that it could actually work.
Ubisoft have the awesome South Park games under their belt, which have a very similar combat system to the classic Paper Mario games.

Creating a modern day open world game probably knocked Nintendo on their asses!

Its cheaper to buy an Xbox One or PS4 with a couple of games here in Australia. Still blows my mind every time I see the prices in stores!

Genius. By doing this Nintendo have eliminated all concerns over the lackluster Wii U holiday lineup, as people are too busy stressing over the nes mini to even care!

We've seen the hardware, bring on the games!

Reports indicate that the Nintendo Switch will come packaged in a cardboard box, with the words " Nintendo" & " Switch" printed on the box.

Ah well, we've seen the thing now at least. And the year is almost over, so wont be so bad. Hopefully in the meantime the 3rd parties will speak up about their support for the system. (Ubisoft, now is a good time to confirm Beyond Good & Evil 2 for Switch!)

Keen to try the new pro controller, the new Mario game, & the list of 3rd party support is looking good.
I couldn't give a rat's bunghole about the portable side, though I can see it being big in Japan & with parents (although I can see those joy con detachable controllers getting lost in couch cushions & in the backseats of cars lol)

This is great, now Nintendo fans can stop pretending they hate 3rd party games!

Ah well. I tried, but it was rendered incompatible with Xbox One by the time I got to it. There's always Rare Replay though!

I've thought the same thing since the hybrid rumours began to surface. It just feels like something Nintendo should have done after the original Wii, not when dedicated handhelds are a dying market.

So it's pretty much the Neo Geo X, or Nintendo's answer to Playstation remote play? Wow, what a highly original idea. It really will change the concept of handheld & console gaming......in Japan. Can't wait for my console games to be gimped so that the 3 people who still carry handheld consoles stay happy. Remote play is the key reason the PS4 is king after all!

Be alot easier to just save up and buy an NX yourself!

These patent designs just get worse and worse! Nintendo are going to have to pull their finger out soon & show us what the NX really is. I will hold my opinion until then, but these wacky ass fisher price toy contraption patents aren't helping!!

Splatoon is the best thing Nintendo has done in years, it have me hope after the barrage of 2D platformers the Wii U was getting. It felt new.
