Glad to see that most agree that this is a good thing, which it is, childish feelings or made up stories regarding EA aside. All third parties have something to offer, EA has the awesome Garden Warfare games & Mass Effect, which are a few of their games I really enjoy. Battlefield is pretty damn good too.
If this is true, then good on EA for giving Nintendo the reality check/kick up the ass they've been sorely needing.

I think I would've preferred a Tekken clone tbh, the gameplay vids I've seen look a bit style over substance to me.

Decent lists. I love Wind Waker so I have no complaints. Ah bugger it, why not...this has been on my mind for a while. To me, TP was the last great Zelda game....and that was 10 years ago. I'm hungry for the next truly amazing Zelda game. Skyward Sword was just awful, & ALBW was Fisher Price presents baby's first Zelda game. I'm really hoping the next Zelda game is truly worthy of the title legend. It's my fave series

@AlexSora89 I'm talking about the finishing moves, not the characters themselves. Finishers are some of the best parts of fighting games, be a shame to spoil them for yourself.

@Chaoz I couldn't agree more. I have the Wii version of All-Stars & it's not worth the disc its printed on imo.
Other than that some good choices here, although it would've been hilarious if Nintendo chose duds like Mario Tennis Ultra Smash & AC Amiibo Festival as their selects! Just for the outrage alone! Lol

Its companies like Sony & Double Fine I don't trust honestly. They have seen the goldmine & will scrape that sucker dry with endless remakes and sequels which should really be funded by the original owners themselves.
Projects such as Yooka-Laylee & Bloodstained I'm all for, they come across as works of passion.

Nope. Man I'm getting fed up of this kickstarter trend as of late, soon we're going to have to fund 50% of the games we want to play if this keeps up!

You know what would be good for the 3DS? Dropping the prices of the games. New release games cost almost as much as a new console game, which is just ridiculous. The prices never drop either, OOT3D is still full price almost 5 years after its release for example. It's put me off the system that's for sure.

My prediction for NX: Nintendo employees by random chance read this comment section, look at each other in morbid shock, then simultaneously say to each other: "these are our fans?!", then proceed to cancel the NX & entire gaming division. Nintendo then opens up a chain of ice cream stores instead.

Not only are you lucky enough to be able to buy 2 separate FE games, you also get to buy the 3rd chapter, & additional DLC on top! Nintendo is too good to it's fans!

Much more interested to see the improvements made to the game itself. Why Nintendo chose to show off the happy meal extras first seems a bit odd to me. (Unless you count the amiibo use as improvements, which I really don't)

What worries me is not the TPHD amiibo use so much, is that if the next Zelda game (Zelda Wii U, NX?) locks something away behind amiibo use. It could be something as simple as exclusive weapons, skins, or even something like exclusive missions, dungeons. I think the poop would really hit the fan then!

It would be awesome if the amiibo unlocked a playable demo for Zelda Wii U! Now there's an idea! (Never gonna happen lol)

VR isn't for me. I'd much rather use the money on Nintendo's next console

It's coming this year, no doubt in my mind. Anyone who thinks otherwise should remember that Nintendo aren't your friend, they don't give a damn about you or the false promises of a 5 year Wii U life cycle you expect in your imagination. They just want what's in your wallet. Like any business.
As for games....It wouldn't surprise me if Reggie came out & said something like "Nintendo fans have been eagerly awaiting footage of the first NX titles.....yet you've been looking at one the whole time......" points to the new Zelda game. Which imo has looked waaaay too good for a Wii U game since the first trailer (sloppy game awards footage aside)

Just make an SK sequel, enough with the happy meal toys! Nobody cares

Wave Race is still awesome, even to this day. What I would give for a follow up (Blue Storm is trash) which retains the original's style, feel, atmosphere, & awesome soundtrack.
