Re: Video: Mojang Reveals What Goes Into Making A Minecraft Painting

@SurprisedRobinChu There are plenty of Gen Z artists out there, and the majority of them do not like AI generated art as a replacement or alternative for human artists.

Unless you're talking about Gen Alpha, then I can neither confirm nor deny that claim.

Me personally, I see anything and everything as art, from paintings of fish to music about fish, to even video games featuring fish, and this process of real paintings being converted into Minecraft is really cool and interesting to someone like me, especially from someone who loves seeing the creation of stuff, as I'm interested in making my very own pieces of media and art.

I'm not a huge Minecraft fan, but I seriously appreciate the fan base and the people who put their hearts, souls, and Microsoft money into this fun silly game.

@babyThorman @Tayrailbridge I'm very late on this article, but I have to say. AI upscaling and AI generation are two completely different things. AI upscaling does not harm human creativity because all it does is remaster images that are too pixelated. AI upscaling is still kinda lazy, but I don't think that it's a valid reason to not buy a game, especially since there's really not much alternatives beyond somehow finding a higher quality version of the image, or possibly recreating it from scratch.
