I'm happy about The Cowabunga Collection, but I'd really like to play Gyruss again. (3 warps to Neptune!) Maybe Hamster can add it to the Arcade Achives line.
I am not a history buff, but I am certain that Namco did not terminate their licensing deal with Midway in 1884. I suspect that happened 100 years later.
Seriously though, I didn't realize Ms Pac-Man had such a complex history. I do recall seeing "Midway" on the arcade machine in my younger days.
The built-in kickstand of the original Switch had design flaws: it was flimsy and often popped off, the Switch leaned to one side when used, and it exposed your SD card. I found a plastic stand that folds flat for easy storage at Five Below a few years back. It's a $5 fix!
Which Switch is right for me? The one I already have; I can't afford another one. I'm glad I'm not missing out on a new Metroid/Zelda/Mario game that's only available on an upgraded model. I still think this should have been the version that launched, though.
I still need to play the first one; I bought the Switch version during a sale but I'm working through the backlog (currently playing Axiom Verge). I'll have time to wait for a sale on the sequel
Do you remember the Peanuts comic strip where Charlie Brown tries to kick the football? As a Metroid fan, I feel like Charlie Brown and Nintendo is standing in for Lucy ("we promise not to pull it away this time"). Also, it's not easy being a fan of F-Zero, Wave Race, and Star Fox. It's a good thing I like Zelda.
I want to get physical versions of Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Contra Anniversary Collection, Axiom Verge 2, and River City Girls 2. What I can afford, however....
Once you read a review for one of these games, it's too late. There have been several great games I hadn't even heard of until seeing a review on Nintendo Life. I won't buy from scalpers; I'd rather go without.
@moodycat While we're waiting for Metroid Prime 4 and asking for Metroid Prime Trilogy, Nintendo shadow drops Other M 2. It'd be totally ironic if it was actually good.

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge Hones In On Summer Release
@BoilerBroJoe I'd like to see DuckTales Remastered released on Switch.
Is there a physical edition for Shredder's Revenge?
Re: Want To See The Star Wars: Rogue Squadron Games On Switch? Let Aspyr Know
Yes, please! A collection of all three for the Switch would be great, but if I had to pick only one, it would be Rogue Leader.
Re: 'Blast Brigade' Brings '80s Action Flick-Inspired Metroidvania Exploration To Switch
Sounds like fun
Re: Feature: Which Is The Absolute Best Nintendo Console Generation?
My favorite generation(s): SNESwitch

I really hope there is a physical release for this collection.
Re: Mario Kart 9 Is "In Active Development" And Comes With A "New Twist", Analyst Claims
The twist is all of the characters are on jet skis. It's Mario Wave Race!
Re: Doug Bowser Comments On The Battle Against Joy-Con Drift, Says Nintendo Are Making "Continuous Improvements"
Wear is not the issue. I bought new joy-con that drifted from Day 1.
Re: Anniversary: We've Almost Been Watching Nintendo Direct Presentations For 10 Years Now
I read the title of this article to mean that it has been ten years of almost watching Nintendo Directs. Maybe it's time to actually watch one...

Re: Review: Axiom Verge 2 - A Fantastic Follow-Up To A Classic Metroidvania
@FoxMcCloud @TYRANACLES I had gotten stuck in the same place. I found a walkthrough online that helped; I'll actually be able to finish the game now.
Re: Doctor Who: The Edge Of Reality Arrives In September Starring Jodie Whittaker And David Tennant
Should we concerned that the game features glitches?
Re: Nintendo Won't Say Whether Switch OLED Joy-Con Fixes Drift, So Don't Count On It
After four years, my right joy-con started drifting hard to the right. I was fighting it constantly. This article helped: https://www.nintendolife.com/guides/how-to-fix-a-drifting-nintendo-switch-joy-con-analog-stick. Recalibrating helps short-term but I just got some contact cleaner.
Re: Review: Boomerang X - Frantic First-Person Action That'll Keep You Coming Back
In the screenshots, it looks like the mummy's hand is holding the Glaive from Krull (but it seems to be missing a blade).
Re: Soapbox: Could Switch OLED Actually Make A Reality Of Nintendo's Cheesy Tabletop Dream?
The built-in kickstand of the original Switch had design flaws: it was flimsy and often popped off, the Switch leaned to one side when used, and it exposed your SD card. I found a plastic stand that folds flat for easy storage at Five Below a few years back. It's a $5 fix!
Re: Tails Of Iron Is An Adventure RPG With Heroic Rats, Arrives On Switch Soon
This looks good. That reminds me: what happened to Curse of the Sea Rats?
Re: Should I Buy A Switch OLED? Which Nintendo Switch Is Best For Me?
Which Switch is right for me? The one I already have; I can't afford another one. I'm glad I'm not missing out on a new Metroid/Zelda/Mario game that's only available on an upgraded model. I still think this should have been the version that launched, though.
Re: Gallery: Nintendo Switch OLED Model In All Its Glory
@Scrubicius It's nice to know that I'm not the only one thinking it won't stay that white.
Re: Former Star Fox Programmer Would Be Interested In Making A New Entry Without The "Gimmicks"
I'd like to play a Star Fox game without gimmicks. Also preferably not another remake of Star Fox 64.
Re: A Free Update Brings More Items And A Whole New World To 2D 'Goomba Sim' Wunderling
I chuckled at the Aladdin reference.
Re: Neo: The World Ends With You Could Take 100+ Hours To Beat Depending On Your Playstyle

Re: Best Cheap Nintendo Switch Games - Switch eShop Deals (US)

Nintendo stabilized the destabilizing stability update?
Re: Video: Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp Switch Vs. GBA Comparison
Wayforward is known for animated style games. Have they ever made a game with this polygonal art style before?
Re: Doug Bowser Responds To Reports About "Upgraded Switch Replacement" (Again)
Translation: "I can neither confirm nor deny those rumors."
Re: Discolored Is An Intriguing Puzzle Adventure, Out On Switch Soon
That looks interesting. I'd wait for a review and a sale, but I'm interested.
Re: Talking Point: Why Metroid Dread Will Be Worth $60
@TakoSamurai $80 for AAA games in the future doesn't sound farfetched when PS5 games are selling for $70 now.
As to the matter at hand: if a remake of Link's Awakening sells for $60, why wouldn't an original Metroid game be full price?
Re: Video: Enjoy An Hour Of Sonic The Hedgehog History In This Retrospective
Remembering the console wars of the 90's, I marvel at how I can now play Mario, Sonic, and Crash Bandicoot games on my Nintendo system.
Re: Switch Error Code 2123-1502 - Users Still Waiting On Fix For Update 12.0.3 Issues
I get this error but if I click on Continue enough times, the game downloads. It's like I wear the Switch down.
Switch: Download error
Me: The error isn't real; download it
Switch: No
Me: Download it
Switch: No
Me: Do it!
Switch: Okay
Re: Nintendo Says It's "Working Hard" On Metroid Prime 4
How long before we see a screenshot or preview of Metroid Prime 4?
Re: Strange Brigade Is Out Now On Switch eShop
I got the PS4 version for $5 (it was a Best Buy Deal of the Day), but haven't tried it yet. I will not be double-dipping.
Re: Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp Reimagines The Classics On Switch
They went with this art style so nobody would accuse them of copying Wargroove.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of Nintendo Direct At E3 2021?
Metroid alone made this Direct an A for me. Advance Wars and Cruis'n Blast were really nice surprises.
Re: Metroid 5 Is Coming To Switch As Metroid Dread, And It's 2D
This game made E3 for me. It looks fantastic!
Re: E3: Get Your Nintendo Life E3 2021 Bingo Cards Here!
Classic Revival could be used for so many games yet, sadly, will probably remain open.
Edit: I admit I was wrong. Who saw Advance Wars coming? Surprisingly, Cruis'n Blast was leaked but true.
Re: Poll: How Hyped Are You For Nintendo's E3 Direct?
@AtlanteanMan I feel your pain.
Re: Video: Check Out These Amazing Game Builder Garage Creations
There are some amazing GBG builds already!
I just know that if I tried to make something, it would be the game equivalent of a stick figure doodle.

Re: XSEED Games Has "Multiple Reveals" Lined Up For E3
@Jmjfrank I liked The Last Story more than Xenoblade Chronicles. A Switch remaster would be welcome.
I would also request Little King's Story for Switch.
Re: Here's What To Expect At E3's Wholesome Direct Showcase
I don't need to watch this, right? Nintendo Life will post the videos for Switch releases, right?
Re: Nintendo Confirms Switch Digital Deals Promotion To Follow E3 Event
Up to 50%. So the only game that'll be half price is the game you really don't want, right? The games you really want will be 20% off at best.
