I just checked Amazon and Best Buy; neither mentions a preorder bonus.

I'm very interested in this collection anyway, but the free download just convinced me to preorder. I was waiting for a sale on Gravitar Recharged; this is better. I'm still disappointed that Paperboy is not included...

All I wanted was a release date for Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp and Metroid Prime anything (trilogy, remaster, 4 - LOL)...

Wave Race 64 and Goldeneye 007 are enticing me to upgrade my NSO subscription. If we can't get Rare Replay on Switch (which I would buy day 1), hopefully Nintendo will add the other Rare N64 games to NSO.

I'm kind of torn. I really enjoyed the 2D Origins and Legends games, but I also really liked the 3D style of The Great Escape. Maybe Ubisoft could make a Sonic Generations type of Rayman game that has both 2D and 3D levels.

Thanks for the review; it helped me make up my mind. Between an improved singleplayer mode and Salmon Run always being available, I've decided to get this (but I might wait for a sale).

Am I the only one that wants a new Wave Race?

I've gotten each of the Recharged games once they've gone on sale and will continue to do so. I'm still waiting for a sale on Gravitar.

I loved the first game. This is going straight to my wishlist.

I've had this on my wishlist; I'll probably wait for a sale, though. Now that this game got a release date, maybe we can get a release date for Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp (also delayed indefinitely for the same real world events).

@KryptoniteKrunch I have fond memories of Aero the Acrobat. It would be nice to have those games on the Switch.

Sadly, the two games I'm looking forward to the most are sitting in that TBA category.

I hope we get a Switch port; I would definitely play this.

I preordered a physical copy a few months ago. It's nice to have a release date. I probably would have preferred to play this collection before Shredder's Revenge, but I'm really not complaining.

Is NL going to review this? There is no way I'm taking a chance on a $40 game.

My first video game was Space Invaders (arcade). The first console I bought was SNES, which came with Super Mario World. The first game I bought for it was Star Fox. Great games.

Today's free game is Star Horizon.

I would also add Grindstone to the list.

All I wanted from today's mini direct was details on the Portal and Cowabunga collections. The Portal games available today is even better than I hoped for.

@WindWakerLink I'm still waiting for my physical copy of KOTOR from LRG. My copy of Treasures of the Aegean has been ready to go for a couple of months but I ordered it with KOTOR to save on shipping...

@RubyCarbuncle As a gamer on a budget, I tend to wait for a sale. This strategy also pays off for content too; by the time I get the game, it has been updated.

I'd like to see Rare Replay, Metroid Prime Trilogy, and Wave Race on Switch. I've given up on F-Zero...

That animated cutscene is beautiful! I might be too impatient to wait for a physical release.

@Angelic_Lapras_King Same here. The original Shantae was the only one I didn't have on Switch. I have been waiting for a sale, and this is a good one. Now I also have a complete set!

I am not a history buff, but I am certain that Namco did not terminate their licensing deal with Midway in 1884. I suspect that happened 100 years later.

Seriously though, I didn't realize Ms Pac-Man had such a complex history. I do recall seeing "Midway" on the arcade machine in my younger days.
