I remember when Luigi was just a palette-swapped green Mario and there was no story.

StarFox Zero looked nice but it was a remake of StarFox 64, which in turn was a remake of the original StarFox on SNES. It really had a feeling of "Been there; done that" but this time with frustrating controls. I hated the controls. I don't want to look away from my TV; I just wanted the classic StarFox control scheme. On the other hand, StarFox Guard, the free pack-in game that came with it, was absolutely delightful.

I just got the physical version on Friday and played it all weekend. I absolutely love it. It was great hearing some familiar voices for the iconic characters. It really feels like a modern take on the 90's beat-'em-up. Great job!

@RoboCube I know I've seen the N64 F-Zero in the online service but I don't recall seeing the GameCube iteration. You could be right, though.

We still need the GameCube iterations of Wave Race, F-Zero, and StarFox.

I wouldn't say no to more Captain Toad either...

Can we get confirmation of a StarFox Switch 2 game first? As long as we're putting together a wish list for Nintendo, I would like to request new entries for Wave Race, F-Zero, and Wario Land. Thank you.

I clearly don't know how to play this game; I've never been able to get the resources needed to leave the first planet. The updates sound great, though.

I never played Balatro so, with nothing for me to compare it to, the con has no impact on me.

But what does Reggie say?

Thanks for the review; it's basically what I expected. I'll wait for a sale. The only game I want to play in this collection is X-Men and I don't want to pay $25 for it. I certainly don't want to pay $40 to get a physical version; although I expected LRG to double the digital price like they are for Darwin's Paradox.

@Anti-Matter Seconded! I have thought for a long time that Nintendo needs to make Ratchet & Clank style game; giving it a StarFox flavor is a great idea.
I also would like to see Metroid x StarFox.

I haven't watched any trailers for the Super Mario Galaxy movie. Ironically, you just spoiled it for me.

Dispatch and Bomberman for me

I played Bomberman 94 on my WiiU and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's disappointing that it isn't available for the Switch. I will be getting this collection; I'm sure I'll enjoy these games too. 🎮💣

I still need to finish the first one. This'll go on the wishlist.

I haven't even gotten to Snoozaland yet. Of course, I have been distracted by Dispatch. After my second playthrough exploring the consequences of alternate choices, I will get back to this game.

Now I want to play SSX again.

I've always preferred arcade-style racers; looking for shortcuts and catching crazy air is so much fun. Cruis'n Blast was a welcome blast from the past. I miss San Francisco Rush.

Switch 2 feels less like a successor and more like the Switch Pro that was rumored for years.

I would have been skeptical if this was announced April 1.

Ironically, the wall of text at the bottom of the box does not make it clear that this Switch 2 cartridge will also work on an OG Switch.

I miss eshop music like there was in the Wii/WiiU era.

I got the Switch 2 only because my OG Switch died. That's when I learned about micro SD express cards, virtual game cards, and game key cards. I was naive enough to think backwards compatability extended to micro SD cards, and I would just pop my cards in the Switch 2 and keep playing my existing library.

I just got this game Saturday. The sale, the review score, and the DLC convinced me. I'm enjoying it so far.

@StarCollector I have enjoyed Animal Well and Star Wars Outlaws. I just got Pizza Tower on sale; it's currently 50% off in the US eshop. As a gamer on a budget, I almost always wait for a sale.
