Definitely a 9 for me. The gameplay and graphics are excellent. I really enjoyed the cinematic cut scenes and appreciate how they change depending on the success or failure of the previous mission. However, aiming could be improved and I wanted to lock onto enemies faster. Also, I really would have liked some additional locations, such as Fortuna, which was in the SNES StarFox but not StarFox 64 (I know there are others that I can't recall right now). Overall, it's a great outing for the fantastic Mr (Star) Fox. I was happy to get a physical copy for $50; it's worth the price for me.

Sounds like bad joke at the consumer's expense (figuratively and literally).

No double dipping for me. SEGA's greed is backfiring; I would have considered paying for an upgrade.

I bought the Switch version of both on sale.

I already have this game. I won't double-dip, but I would consider an upgrade pack. That probably won't be an option, though.

I hated the controls on Zero. If they stuck with the traditional control scheme, it would have been great. Ironically, I enjoyed the pack-in title much more than the main attraction. Guard was a delight after fighting the controls in Zero. Both titles should have been re-released on Switch.

I want to play more, so the demo worked. I also thought it looks fantastic!

I think I need more to go on.

I'm more interested in ergonomics than colors. I put my joy cons in the dbrand Joy-Lock grips; I find them much more comfortable.

@JR150 I'm surprised Ulala hasn't been added already. Viewtiful Joe should be here, he already has a helmet. Henshin-a-go-go, baby! Now I want a new Viewtiful Joe game on Switch 2, but I'd settle for a collection.

IMHO, pixels have aged better than polygons but I never played this back in the day, so I will check it out. I'm willing to let polygons be bygones.

Brilliant! I laughed out loud. Both properties were well represented. I'm surprised the Calamity Cucco wasn't the penguin with a glove on his head.

I held off on Silksong. Now it's on sale on the eshop for $16, which is much more appealing than $45. As much as I like physical versions, I am on a budget.

Where's the option for I already have?

I had most of these titles from previous giveaways; Cyjin and Primal Light were new for me. I was hoping for One True Hero.

I find it hard to believe they didn't know about these issues beforehand. They should have delayed the release.

Interesting: Walmart and Amazon both matched the digital price for preorders, but that deal appears to be done now that the game has released.

I find the game absolutely charming. The trailer had made it very clear to me that this is a game of discovery and experimentation. It's nice to have some stress-free gaming once in a while. I'm only about half way through but so far, I give it an 8.

But when do we get to play the Lego Donkey Kong video game? 🕹

Walmart emailed me that my preorder is delayed with no indication of how long.

The $10 off at Walmart convinced me to preorder. I see Amazon is now matching that offer.

I would really like play these again: Gyruss, Mr Do's Castle, and an obscure arcade game called The Glob. 🕹

Nintendo really needs to make a Ratchet & Clank style game. It could be a StarFox spin off.

SEGA should have focused more on Crazy Taxi 🚕 and Jet Set Radio than this so-called super game. You know, games that people are actually interested in and have been asking for. It's somewhat telling that, even while it's being canceled, they won't say what it actually was.

See, Nintendo? People really like StarFox. Could you please add Assault and Adventures to GameCube Online?

I'm reluctantly sold. The graphics look fantastic; I don't mind the new character designs. I like seeing the feathers on Falco. StarFox was the first game I bought for my SNES. I have played the SNES and N64 StarFox games a lot. I enjoy the arcade-style gameplay plus I like finding the branching paths. So the Switch 2 StarFox levels sound like prettier carbon copies of the N64 levels. I would have preferred a mix of old and new. So, I'm somewhat disappointed but still looking forward to playing it.

I see more games being released on Switch 1 than on Switch 2, so it's feasible that the OG Switch would continue to be sold, especially as Switch 2 console prices increase. It won't hurt to have a lower-priced option.

I will definitely buy Indiana Jones and the Complete Physical Release...eventually. I'm waiting for a sale, even if I have to wait for Black Friday. Gyro controls is great news! It's not for me, but I'm happy for mouse control fans.

Historically, US pre-orders do not get discounted. However, within the last month, Splatoon Raiders, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, and now the new(?) StarFox are $10 off each. The first two from Walmart only and Starfox from Walmart and Amazon. I usually wait for a sale before buying; it's nice not to have to wait. I notice that it's only first party Nintendo games so far. I've been hoping for a $10 discount on Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, but no signs of one yet.

I thought the US price was $50 too high when the Switch 2 was released. I bought one last year when my OG Switch died. Costco had the Mario Kart World bundle with a one-year expansion pass membership; the price was decent for the bundle. In light of the upcoming price increase, I'm glad I got it when I did. Plus, I've enjoyed my time with DK and Samus (but DK is more fun).

I just pre-ordered from Amazon because it's $10 off, but I can't change my answer from As soon as possible to I've already pre-ordered.

I preordered Yoshi and Splatoon from Walmart because they matched the digital prices. It's Amazon's turn since is doing the same for StarFox.

I actually like both takes on the characters. The Switch 2 version reminds me of the SNES box and marketing materials.

It's listed for $50 on the eshop now. The estimated size is 14.8 GB. It says: "You can also use GameShare via local wireless to play with friends who have Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch systems!"

Edit: The physical version is listed for $60 on Amazon.

I don't have the Nintendo Today app, so I come here for those updates. I do like watching the Directs, though.

What usually happens is that while I'm waiting for the physical version to release, the already cheaper digital version goes on sale, and I end up downloading. Do I want to spend $30 for the physical copy of Hollow Knight when I can download it for $10? Spoiler: I downloaded it for $10.
