GamesRadar's very own gaming showcase returns during this year's Summer Game Fest extravaganza. Future Game Show Summer Showcase 2023 followed this year's Wholesome Direct with a mix of multiplatform titles to suit everyone, and it was a jam-packed showcase.
Hosted by world-class voice actors Yuri Lowenthall (Spider-Man) and Laura Bailey (Mary Jane Watson) and while there's many a Spider-Man pun along the way, there are also plenty of games coming to Switch that were shown off.
We've gathered a list of all of the Switch games that were shown off during the presentation for you, so sit back, relax, and take a look at what's coming to Switch over the course of the next year or so from Future Games Show.

might be interested in resistor but didn't see enough of it. i didn't hate on enchanted portals when it was revealed long ago but the new footage doesn't look as good.
I'm glad Enchanted Portals is back, I was afraid the game may never see a release due to its unfair comparison to Cuphead. The art style is really great and brought back those early 90s cartoon feel into videogame form. Also Laika and Last Faith are definitely my day one buy indeed.
My choices:
Paleo Pines 🥰
Headbangers: Rhythm Royale 😎🎧🎶
Moving Out 2
‘The Last Faith’ Could you rip off another game almost identically any harder?
Nothing for me this time. Steamworld was the most disappointing announcement as I was hoping for something similiar to previous games
I like the diversity!
For a while there, we had a period where all Indies were retro 2D platformers. And then all Indies were Minecraft-likes. And then all Indies were 2D roguelikes. I'm excited by this creativity and want most of these
The Last Faith doesn't look terrible.
Laika: Aged Through Blood seems promising
Can I also vote for "none of the above"?
FYI - Headbangers: Rhythm Royale has the description for The Last Faith.
@Neckcrane Yeah, a little too close for comfort to Blasphemous, huh? I thought it was another game from that developer tbh
Resistor definitely, The Precinct and Pacific Drive also, though they aren't coming to switch.
@SwagaliciousJohnson C'mon, nobody could be excited for none of the games in that presentation.
Stray Gods, I had already planned on getting it Day 1 on Steam, I'd much rather have it on my Switch
The Last Faith looks really good, Blasphemous 2 and this, thank you very much.
Also, I like the look of Laika, count me in.
Ruffy is the only that interests me, but I'm generally not a fan of 2D sprites in a 3D world. I did love Tinykin though.
Between these and many more gems announced at Wholesome Direct, Switch library sure continues to eat good for the remainder of its seventh year and estimatedly beyond. Peculiar to see anthro characters in abundance on both sides, too. Laika, Button City Soccer Days, Everdeep Aurora... add the earlier advent of Fuga 2 and you have a borderline streak, although the actual release dates will likely space it out too far.
I don’t like any Summer of Gaming Fest games that were announced for Nintendo Switch. Knock on someone else’s door.
It failed me! None of these games are worthy of my controller.
Steamworld Build and Punch Club 2. Fond 3ds memories of both. Sign me up!
At the moment. The one game that I am interested in is Resistors. I like the car battling racing game that is being made for it. Hopefully its not just a single player game. Thanks Nintendo!
This game might make it to one of the final slots in my Gameboy Switch Power A travel case.
RESISTOR for me.
I’m all drool for Last Faith and Resistor.
Ruffy and The Riverside has my attention. I like the bit at the end that says “coming this winter or whenever it’s ready”. Hahaha
Definitely Steamworld Build for me. Obvs completely different to prev. Steamworld games, but liking the build-and-occasionally-battle Dungeon Keeper vibes.
Highwater looks good. Though that was a bad trailer focussing too much on the (very talented) musicians and not enough on the game. Without the paragraph underneath the video I think I’d have ignored it.
Resistor could be cool. Need to see more.
Idk what Headbangers is. The trailer didn’t tell me and the text is wrong. I had a good time though!
The Last Faith and Laika are not for me.
Enchanted Portals still feels like a Cuphead rip.
Punch Club and Moving Out look fun.
Steamworld Build I am VERY excited for!
Ruffy I was prepared to hate but came out loving it! Core mechanic is promising.
Paleo Pines looks nice but there are so many of those games right now.
Paper Trail looks very nice!
Mythwrecked, Remedium and Stray Gods all look good but not for me.
Overall a really nice lineup!
Ahh I wish these could all could have been in their own direct, upcoming releases in different showcases everywhere, it's messy >.<
Resistor, Steamworld Build, Punch Club 2 and Moving Out 2 only here. I'll need more info on them through reviews though o'course. No insta-buys as of yet
Ruffy and the Riverside looks amazing!!!!
also should The Last Faith devs prepare for a lawsuit? there's 'similarities', and then there's... that
I'll raise you one, @Poodlestargenerica, this was probably the worst Games Show I have ever seen in my life. Must have been the terrible presentation.
@SwagaliciousJohnson Oh the presentation itself is terrible. Supposedly the Capcom one was even worse though. I didn't see it, but the announcements were underwhelming after they made a big deal about their anniversary.
My favorites were RESISTOR, Enchanted Portals and Ruffy and the Riverside but again, love the diversity!
I was truly amazed at the diversity of artistic styles showcased here. That should be one of the higlights of these events.
