No system has been bricked. It simply doesn't let you access the Nintendo servers. If you put in a game that doesn't require an update or access to online it will work.

And that slight difference is how they'll most likely get around most court cases.

@Tasuki I've brought games coming up to 10 years with them and never had a single problem.

Even if you end up paying more this is why you sometimes should buy the genuine article, not crappy knock offs.

@N00BiSH That's not the way the real world works. Harry Shearer should be made to retire because his voice now ruins newer episodes. Age limits when the thing you work with literally doesn't work the same way is a legit reason for termination.

This was going to happen sooner or later for all involved. It's really nobody's fault just a concquence of aging.

For example on The Simpsons, Harry Shearer's characters all sound nothing like Mr Burns etc should anymore.
