@jojobar That's bs sorry. If Nintendo was concerned about game key cards they would've never released them. They are only "concerned" because enough people aren't falling for them. And a website quoting rumors isn't a reliable source. Nintendo could've been released smaller capacity SD cards but chose not to. It's like trying to close the barn door after the horse has bolted. Game key cards are pretty much here to stay. Even with smaller capacities watch companies move the goalposts on why they're sticking with this format going forward.

@jojobar Companies release surveys all the time and most never follow up on them when it comes to what consumers want.

Some of these companies are really pushing the limits with certain tactics.

@UltimateOtaku91 The majority of third party games on PlayStation and Xbox are actually on the disc. I don't know why people keep running with this misinformation. Check out 'Does it play?' and you'll see that a lot of games actually have the full data on the disc. At most you may need to download a day one patch but even that's not necessary. You can just put the disc in and immediately start playing unlike with game key cards

@ShadowRJ I want to be optimistic too but I'm not holding my breath. A lot of publishers love game key cards and are trying to justify why they are a "good" thing. Once these companies get set on something, they rarely deviate from it. Putting out a survey is just to try and act like they care about what the consumers want. Nintendo is notoriously stubborn when it comes to certain issues and I just don't see them fully doing away with game key cards. They also can't stop other companies from using them now.

Nothing is going to change. These companies are not going away from game key cards no matter what. This is all performative in my opinion. They don't want people owning their games anymore, period.

The original Switch is readily available throughout the country. This price increase is just greed from Nintendo, period. I understand the tariffs situation but a lot of these companies are using that excuse to squeeze more money from consumers.

That art style is absolutely beautiful. I rarely play visual novels but this one has piqued my interest. I'll wishlist it

It's also funny reading some of these comments that are coming off as petty and bitter because it's not going to be on Switch 2 as of now.😐 More games is always good in my opinion, especially for a new console

I'll believe it when I see it. It'll probably be like the MGS Collection. One/a few games on the cart and everything else needs to downloaded.

If people want an upgrade, Square is pretty much forcing you to buy the Switch 2 version knowing that a lot of people are against game key cards. Pretty slimy tactic.

Does Nintendo have a patent on the Wake Up feature when it comes to Switch consoles? This is a serious question. I never understood why a lot of third party controllers don't have that feature along with NFC and gyro support. It can't just be a cost measure.😐

I've said it before, these companies aren't going away from game key cards. They are gaslighting people when it comes to the "benefits" of them. They don't want you actually owning your games anymore. And when SD card prices drop, they'll just move the goalposts on why they are keeping them. This is one of the worst decisions Nintendo has ever made in my opinion

Nintendo should've just built a camera into the Switch 2 in my opinion.

This game has been out too long for it to still have performance issues. Another lazy port. I like the concept though but just can't excuse some issues that shouldn't be.

It's not worth the price in my opinion for minimal upgrades compared to the original Pro controller

It's weird and ridiculous how Nintendo hasn't given some developers dev kits. I would think they would want as many companies as possible to have kits to get games on their new console. I really don't understand the logic with this company sometimes

Interesting how the original mode hasn't had a graphical update. I don't know why Nintendo didn't do it. Too resource heavy maybe? 🤔 Anyway the game seems fun. I never played a Mario Party game and this will be my first one when I get around to it in the future

@IronMan30 Smart idea. I do the same with Ubisoft games. I never buy them at launch. Wait a few months at least and it's usually on a massive sale. I can't remember the last game I bought at full price on or close to launch day.

@TheExile285 Borderlands games are usually massive in storage size. I wouldn't be surprised if this one starts off at 60 gb before any DLC is added

Unless you really need it on or soon after launch day, I would wait. These games usually have discounts after a few months.

I'm not buying this day one. Have to wait and see how it is technically. Recent Pokemon games have burned people when it comes to quality and features
