Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth. First time ever playing a Digimon game. It's a little slow to start off but I'm intrigued and feel it'll ramp up soon

Gaming used to be recession and depression proof because it was cheaper than vacations, going to the movies, etc... Those days are long gone now and even if/when the ram and AI fiascos level out things may never be normal again. Modern gaming is circling the drain. I'm focusing more on my backlogs. I have enough games to last me a lifetime. Nintendo won't be able to hold off long either until they raise Switch 2 prices in my opinion. Everything really sucks right now in this dystopian world

@Misima Well said. I wish your post could be shared as wide as possible. I truly believe racism is a mental disorder. A lot of people wake up and go to bed each day with an irrational hatred of people who don't look like them. That's insane to me and such a waste of time, energy, and joys of life. The world is a melting pot of of amazing people and cultures. And some people would rather limit themselves to their own people or ridiculous bigoted beliefs. I also feel the same way about racists as I do homophobic people. I'm a heterosexual male and never understood why someone's orientation matters so much to others. I judge people by character and not by what they identify as. I have gay friends, bi family members, etc... If you're a decent person that's all that matters to me. This world would be so much better if people stop focusing on trivial things like skin color or sexuality.

@Davestator I agree with you. It's exhausting living here with these people. I actively try to avoid them for my own sanity and peace.

@squiddu-real What you want is a perfect world and that's not reality. It's not black or white, but many shades of gray. People don't want to talk about politics but the reality is that it affects every aspect of our lives, including hobbies. Food, health-care, fuel, gaming, etc... The cost of everything is rising because wealthy people feel they don't have enough money already. And even then it's not just about the money, but seeing how they can make those they look down on suffer even more.

@Nanoline52 Well said. A lot of people may not be interested in politics but politics are definitely interested in the people, good or bad. So many people want to complain about certain issues but also don't want to address the elephant in the room. These tariffs issues are the result of one man who doesn't understand diplomacy and has the mental capacity of a child, and that's an insult to the child.

As an American who didn't vote for this orange colostomy bag either time, I'm just so tired of the bs. But he's just a symptom of a greater issue in America. The lack of education and understanding of basic things is staggering. Seeing so many "adults" not understanding how tariffs work is just ridiculous. It doesn't benefit consumers no matter what propagandists keep spewing. I really hate this timeline of truth being attacked and ignorance being celebrated and elevated.

@TerribleTerabytes Those aren't the only games that interest me but are some of the most important ones I want to know more about. I like Splatoon, Zelda, etc... A lot of third party Switch 2 games I can play on other platforms for cheaper and usually at a higher quality. I have an OLED and was genuinely excited for a Switch 2 until it was revealed. I just kind of lost interest in getting one right away and I'm okay with waiting for as long as possible until it has the games I'm interested in. I like Mario Kart but not enough to buy a new console for. I also have no interest in Pokémon. Besides a new Mario game I really hope Nintendo releases a new Kirby game. I absolutely loved Kirby and The Forgotten Land on Switch. It's one of the rare games I bought on launch day and didn't regret it. This is all my opinions though. The Switch 2 is a good system but as of now it's not good enough for me personally to buy one

@ElkinFencer10 There was an article a few months back on how the ram and GPU shortage would affect consoles. Sony said it wasn't going to be an issue for them through 2026 because they had enough supply with their vendors for at least a year. I don't know if that'll change but they seemed pretty confident they would be fine. As for Xbox, I have no idea what their situation is. Xbox doesn't even know what they are doing when it comes to their hardware division.

@TerribleTerabytes Yeah I'm "blind" because none of those games interested me or others. The only games I have personally been waiting on is a new 3D Mario and Smash Brothers. And MK is a pack in title. Would it have sold well without being included with the Switch 2? Maybe or maybe not. But to act like it's not selling well because it was/is included with the console is ridiculous.

@fbnaulin Fanboys are very defensive. Facts or opinions will always rile them up when it comes to defending their favorite company. I remember how a lot of people were attacking those who were experiencing Joy Con drift with the Switch. They were accusing people of being rough with their controllers, playing the system too much, etc... Just ridiculous attacks for what was a real issue for many people. It's all just so ridiculous in my opinion. I have certain companies that I'm fond of. But I'll never swear allegiance to them. In the end it's just another corporation that wants money in exchange for goods and services. It's not my friend or essential to my life

"Fastest launch selling console ever!!" This is why so many people said that didn't matter in the long run despite diehard fans crowing about it constantly. The system is too expensive for most people or is lacking a definite system seller so far for most people. If this console wasn't significantly cheaper in Japan, sales may have looked worse so far. Nintendo has quite a dilemma on their hands, especially if the rumors of a price increase end up true.

Sigh.😐😑 The temperature is slowly rising on the frog (gamers) in the pot when it comes to AI. Too many people are getting comfortable with this. "I don't see a problem with AI for this." "People are just whining and being unreasonable." Keep making excuses for these companies while they keep trying to shove this garbage onto the rest of us. It's inevitable where companies want to take this. Entire games will be created by AI and charged full price.

Wesker for me. He's just so slimy, intelligent, arrogant, etc... All the hallmarks of a memorable villain in my opinion

Nintendo really does believe they are the Apple of gaming. Ridiculous price for some blocks that more than likely cost around $10 to make

@SabreLevant A lot of people definitely care about things like easy battery swaps and right to fix when it comes to certain things, especially very expensive products. I don't think it's government overreach when consumers are being protected. I know a lot of people hate big government with a passion due to various reasons. But when it does something to benefit the people, complaining about it is just ridiculous. Without "government overreach" homes would still have lead paint, asbestos, etc... Cars wouldn't have seat belts. The list goes on and on about how the government stepping in can actually have positive impact. I also think it would be petty and horrible for business if Nintendo skips the EU or any other area in the future because of certain regulations. Apple didn't leave Europe when they had to make USB-C mandatory in all of their products. These companies exist to make money. Revising something is a lot cheaper and business smart than just leaving.

@mouseclicker They have had disdain for consumers for a long time but some people have excused it because they love their products. Joy con gate is still fresh in people's minds. Nintendo ignored it until they started getting lawsuits thrown at them and they had to acknowledge it was a widespread issue they needed to address.

This is a good thing. There's a serious issue with e-waste and it's impact on the environment. There used to be a a time when companies easily let you swap out batteries in cellphones, game consoles, laptops, etc... Locking things down is anti consumer and only benefit the corporation.

Gaming is going down a dark path. AI slop, broken games at launch, increased monetization, etc... My backlog has never looked better.

No matter what game it's giving vibes of, I'm not getting hyped until I see reviews. Gamefreak has a lot to prove in my opinion

I really don't understand why some people get angry at those who hate game key cards. They have a right to take a stance against this media and I respect that. Seems like the goalposts are always being moved with these things. A lot of people went from hating it, to making excuses for certain games using them, to saying others are foolish to resist, and so on. Nintendo and other companies really don't want people to own physical media anymore and that should really bother a lot of people in my opinion. Consumers have so much power and it's a shame how easily some of them give it away to corporations. Nothing is inevitable unless you allow it to be. Just my opinions

I understand her point and agree with it. I just don't want to see AI replacing voice actors. That would upset me more than changing voice actors for certain titles

I think the majority of people would rather have a Switch 2 Split Pad Pro. I'm sure something is coming but I don't know why Hori made these wheels a priority.

CD said a long time ago the Phantom Liberty DLC would be it when it comes to updates that were not bug fixes. The game has enough content in my opinion.

NA version for me. And it's ridiculous we have not received a new Mario Hoops for this long. I would rather have that instead of another Tennis game
