Way too expensive for content that should've been in the base game. People would be better off using that $20 or more buying some games during an eShop sale.
@NotASockPuppet Fanboys will be fanboys. The Nintendo ones are worse than any other group by far. I enjoy some of their products but not enough to get nickel and dimed constantly. Nintendo will keep pushing the limits because they know they will always have those who will buy whatever they put out for whatever price regardless of the value. It's not about money but moreso principal with some people.
I enjoyed reading this review. I'll never play this game though. At this point in my life I don't have the patience to play a difficult game like this. I just want to sit back and chill and not spend hours on one boss/area raging. At least those who have been waiting for this game for a long time finally get to play and enjoy it
Absolute bs!! Do the diehard Nintendo fanboys even believe this?!🤣😭 Nintendo isn't using game key cards because they knew the backlash would have been even more intense to them. They are willing to let third party companies take the brunt of the discourse and rage to this media. I really do think they wanted the Switch 2 to be all digital but knew that wouldn't fly with a lot of people and it would've probably been DOA. Trust me, Nintendo isn't using game key cards because they care about consumers and preservation. I'm willing to bet anything that a revised Switch or the next generation will be an all digital console. Game key cards are a way to ease consumers into accepting an all digital future. This guy is so full of it and he knows he's gaslighting. I told people that even when SD card prices drop, these companies aren't going away from game key cards. They hate physical media and want complete control of their products.
I bought 3D All Stars years ago. I'm not buying this. The prices are ridiculous. These games shouldn't be no more than $20 apiece. They aren't full on remasters. Also the Amiibo prices are absolutely insane. $30 for one plastic figure?!🥴 Nintendo is being disgustingly greedy this gen and it's sad seeing a lot of fanboys continue to defend them
@siavm So they didn't play to the backlash against Wii U, 3DS initial pricing, joy con drift, etc...?🤔 They are definitely an arrogant company but once the pockets and pr takes a hit they start to backpedal and try to be "humble" again.
@Desa I agree with everything you said. Nintendo considers itself the Apple of gaming. They believe their products are worth the high prices and are arrogant enough to keep seeing what they can get away with. They used to pride themselves on affordability and accessibility but those days are pretty much over. I understand market changes/conditions but what they are doing this gen is getting pretty ridiculous in my opinion. Unfortunately there will always be those willing to be taken advantage of because they absolutely have to buy whatever this company puts out no matter what. At least some people are opening their eyes to what they are doing and finally making conscious decisions
Nintendo is really flying closer to the sun with what they're doing this generation. They are being really shady with certain things and some people are continuing to give them a pass. Of course nobody is forced to buy whatever they put out but it's about principles and Nintendo is showing none. This content could've been added to the game in my opinion. And to charge this much for it is ridiculous. But they know some diehards will eat up everything they put out because it's "Nintendo". I wouldn't be surprised if they are the first company to charge $100 for a game just because they feel they can get away with it. And the fanboys will defend it.😐
Absolutely ridiculous how much Nintendo is charging for these. Of course the fanboys will defend them as usual. People keep giving this company more and more leeway to do stuff like this. I wouldn't be surprised if they jack up prices even more because they know some people will buy it because it's Nintendo.😐
The design is pretty cool but it's a shame about the functionality lacking. I'm sure some immature people won't ever support Genki because they spoiled the reveal of the Switch 2. A reveal that had no bearing on whether or not someone was going to buy/enjoy the console.😐
Everyone should be against this regardless of how you feel about Nintendo. This is a slippery slope that can stifle game development unless companies pay up to Nintendo. Hopefully those with common sense rejects this patent. The absolute arrogance of this company is something else.😐
@JumpingJackson Exactly. Difficulty options don't "water down" or hurt the experiences developers intended for their game. It actually broadens the reach of the game which benefits developers and gamers. If someone wants to make the game as hard as possible they should be able to do that. Just like if someone just wants to experience the lore and gameplay without ripping their hair out she be allowed to do that too. So many people are selfish and would rather gatekeep something than see other people enjoy it too. It's ridiculous
Every game should have difficulty options in my opinion. Everyone doesn't have the time to "get good", especially if you're a working adult with a family. Gaming should be relaxing and not rage inducing.
Funny how many people are swearing off Genki. That's really immature and ridiculous in my opinion. The people who are furious with them really need to grow up. "They ruined the Switch 2 reveal for me!🥹😭" Wow, it's really not that serious. Defending a multi billion dollar corporation against a multi million dollar corporation is something else. The Switch 2 broke launch records and some people had no idea about what Genki did.
Shocking!😐 I'm not a fan of live service games but sports games really need to go that route. There are hardly any significant changes from year to year. Just update the rosters. These games aren't worth the prices asked for them
@dew12333 Take your own advice. Keep falling for the bs from these companies. They love people like you. You probably think Nintendo and these other companies are your friends.😐
Of course Ubisoft will always choose the anti consumer route. Online requirements for single player games, delisting games after a few years, game key cards, etc... I really wish these companies would cut the bulls**t. Game key cards benefit the company, period. They don't want people to actually own their games anymore. People making excuses for Nintendo and game key cards are also being ridiculous and naive. When the cost of those SD cards come down, companies will continue using game key cards. They'll just make some lame excuses about why it's "beneficial" for customers. I hate that Nintendo even introduced this pathetic media.
Average. There's nothing that stands out to make me personally want to buy a Switch 2 right now. Bananza looks good and is the most interesting game in my opinion. But not enough for me to drop hundreds of dollars on a Switch 2
I'll pick it up in a few years after a discount. It looks good but not something I feel like I need to play right now. The backlog is calling. Hope others who have been waiting for years enjoy it
The game looks okay so far but one thing has me worried. Online requirements for single player mode. The newer Hitman games are plagued with that ridiculous feature. I'm not holding my breath it won't be the same for the new Bond game.

More than likely 1080 and 60 fps in docked mode. I doubt it'll hit those numbers in handheld
