Re: Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 Switch Comparison Video Makes Nintendo's Upgrades Clearer

BLK_4EVER

@NotASockPuppet Fanboys will be fanboys. The Nintendo ones are worse than any other group by far. I enjoy some of their products but not enough to get nickel and dimed constantly. Nintendo will keep pushing the limits because they know they will always have those who will buy whatever they put out for whatever price regardless of the value. It's not about money but moreso principal with some people.

Re: Nintendo Is "Acting To Protect The Industry" With Switch 2 Game Key Cards, Says Ex-Capcom Composer

BLK_4EVER

Absolute bs!! Do the diehard Nintendo fanboys even believe this?!🤣😭 Nintendo isn't using game key cards because they knew the backlash would have been even more intense to them. They are willing to let third party companies take the brunt of the discourse and rage to this media. I really do think they wanted the Switch 2 to be all digital but knew that wouldn't fly with a lot of people and it would've probably been DOA. Trust me, Nintendo isn't using game key cards because they care about consumers and preservation. I'm willing to bet anything that a revised Switch or the next generation will be an all digital console. Game key cards are a way to ease consumers into accepting an all digital future. This guy is so full of it and he knows he's gaslighting. I told people that even when SD card prices drop, these companies aren't going away from game key cards. They hate physical media and want complete control of their products.

Re: Donkey Kong Bananza Has Been Updated To Version 2.0.0, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

BLK_4EVER

@Desa I agree with everything you said. Nintendo considers itself the Apple of gaming. They believe their products are worth the high prices and are arrogant enough to keep seeing what they can get away with. They used to pride themselves on affordability and accessibility but those days are pretty much over. I understand market changes/conditions but what they are doing this gen is getting pretty ridiculous in my opinion. Unfortunately there will always be those willing to be taken advantage of because they absolutely have to buy whatever this company puts out no matter what. At least some people are opening their eyes to what they are doing and finally making conscious decisions

Re: Donkey Kong Bananza Has Been Updated To Version 2.0.0, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

Nintendo is really flying closer to the sun with what they're doing this generation. They are being really shady with certain things and some people are continuing to give them a pass. Of course nobody is forced to buy whatever they put out but it's about principles and Nintendo is showing none. This content could've been added to the game in my opinion. And to charge this much for it is ridiculous. But they know some diehards will eat up everything they put out because it's "Nintendo". I wouldn't be surprised if they are the first company to charge $100 for a game just because they feel they can get away with it. And the fanboys will defend it.😐

Re: Hollow Knight: Silksong's Upcoming Patch Will Nerf The Difficulty In Certain Areas

BLK_4EVER

@JumpingJackson Exactly. Difficulty options don't "water down" or hurt the experiences developers intended for their game. It actually broadens the reach of the game which benefits developers and gamers. If someone wants to make the game as hard as possible they should be able to do that. Just like if someone just wants to experience the lore and gameplay without ripping their hair out she be allowed to do that too. So many people are selfish and would rather gatekeep something than see other people enjoy it too. It's ridiculous

Re: Nintendo And Accessory Maker Genki Reach Settlement In Switch 2 Lawsuit

BLK_4EVER

Funny how many people are swearing off Genki. That's really immature and ridiculous in my opinion. The people who are furious with them really need to grow up. "They ruined the Switch 2 reveal for me!🥹😭" Wow, it's really not that serious. Defending a multi billion dollar corporation against a multi million dollar corporation is something else. The Switch 2 broke launch records and some people had no idea about what Genki did.

Re: Ubisoft Employee Explains Why Star Wars Outlaws Is A Game-Key Card

BLK_4EVER

Of course Ubisoft will always choose the anti consumer route. Online requirements for single player games, delisting games after a few years, game key cards, etc... I really wish these companies would cut the bulls**t. Game key cards benefit the company, period. They don't want people to actually own their games anymore. People making excuses for Nintendo and game key cards are also being ridiculous and naive. When the cost of those SD cards come down, companies will continue using game key cards. They'll just make some lame excuses about why it's "beneficial" for customers. I hate that Nintendo even introduced this pathetic media.
