It's going to reach 650,000 pounds soon. I wouldn't be surprised if It reaches 1,000,000 by tomorrow.

Even the name has the spiritual feeling of Banjo-Kazooie. I applaud PlayTronic for trying to bring back the golden era of 3D platforming.

I guess we'll have to wait for Treyarch to tell us whether there will be a Wii U version or not.

That's one of the reason why I'm considering to build a gaming PC. But even so, the Wii U will still be my primary console.

I wish Nintendo added Splatoon theme to the Wii U hardware, not just the box.

Almost everyone presumes that NX is a successor to Wii U or 3DS, and I think that they're wrong. it could be something that has its own category.

Treyarch has been making CoD games for Nintendo consoles since World at War, so there is a big chance that they would bring this game to Wii U.

Just because there are four slots doesn't mean that we'll get four characters. We may get two or three additional characters, including Mewtwo and Lucas, but there may not be a fourth character.

All I can say is poor Sakurai. What he's supposed to get his vacation would instead continue working on creating character, despite his arm injury.

I have noticed something: doesn't this movie make the video game look bad?

Three points I would summarize this news:

First, Nintendo is not going to port its Nintendo console experience to smart devices. They are planning to make completely new games that suits the touch screen functionality.

Second, They are not going to abandon their hardware-software gaming development, as Nintendo is going to reveal their future game platform codenamed: NX, and they also said that their passion for making hardware and software video games has become stronger even after collaborating with a mobile software publisher like DeNA.

Finally, this will help Nintendo in attracting hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of consumers who are on fence of buying a Nintendo product. Let's face it, dedicated video games share are overwhelmed by the smart devices, and I can see why Nintendo is going with this approach.

After reading the translated presentation, I now feel a bit optimistic about this collaboration. If this will help Nintendo to attract hundreds of millions of people, or at least hundreds of thousands, then why not?

So is it a good thing for Nintendo to make smart devices games? Also, can someone explains the NX game platform for me?

Maybe this Nintendo NX is some sort of unified account system instead of a new hardware, since the 3DS and Wii U were included in this presentation slide. It doesn't necessary mean that a new hardware is coming next year.

The spokesperson just said that the excellent game experience that you get on Nintendo consoles won't be ported to smart devices.

I can see why Sakurai didn't want Chrom to be in this game. He would be to similar to Marth in terms of swordplay.
