Re: Rumour: Nintendo NX Won't Be As Powerful As PlayStation 4

Azooooz

Unfortunately, people nowadays seek a powerful hardware without thinking about a cost. Besides, we've come to the time where graphics is almost realistic as real life itself, so there won't be a big of a jump for a very long time. I simply prefer a console that's feasible to the gamer and easy for developer to make or port. If I want a powerful gaming console, I would choose a PC because of its upgradability. Nintendo is known for its great 1st party games that doesn't require lots of hardware power to look good.

On to the topic: I don't see the reason to post this rumor on this site, since Nintendo has a lot of time to configure the hardware specs. This guy comes up this lie with breeze. He's not a Nintendo's official, he's not a Nintendo developer, and he's definitely not Nintendo CEO. So I wish NL would stop giving some people attention.

Re: Nintendo NX Will Avoid The Launch Issues Which Plagued 3DS And Wii U, Claims Iwata

@HenriDeNiro Let's face it, Nintendo's home console market is in decline after the release of SNES. People have moved on to platforms other than Nintendo like smart devices, PlayStation, XBOX, and even PC. Nintendo won't be able to retain the same audience that backed them up two decades ago. Even NX might not revive the once successful Nintendo. I'm afraid that NX may be Nintendo's last home console,

Not to mention, currently available games like Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros., and Splatoon are being updated periodically. Nintendo hinted that there will be a third DLC for MK8, while Smash Bros. will have Tourneys in August and YouTube sharing later this year, and Splatoon keeps getting new weapons and stages, and more modes will be available in August.

Despite what people say about Wii U's lifespan being 12-24 months remaining, I can say that It's a great console. If anything, we may see Wii U's last hurrah before 2017, where it may have titles like Zelda U and probably Metroid if Nintendo starts providing human resources to Retro Games.

Here's the official translation from the Splatoon's tumblr page:

"Listen up! At 7 PM PT, a new weapon enters the fray—the Splash-o-matic! Its shots don’t spread much, and it has excellent rapid-fire capability. It could be said to be a bit lacking in attack power, but zero in on a target and they’ll burst in no time flat. Plus, this bad boy comes equipped with Suction Bombs as a sub weapon, and Bomb Rush as a special weapon.".

You're welcome.

@GuyWithTheGames I know, but they want to make sure to give you an honest experience and score after the public servers open. For now, they are only telling you what's available right now, and the rest of the review and the final score will be provided later on.

@GuyWithTheGames Because there is a content in the game other than multiplayer that they like to tell you about. And based on the review, it looks like it's a solid game.

Re: Nintendo "Currently Investigating" The Idea Of A Region-Free NX

Azooooz

You know, after years of region lock debacle, I become careless about the region lock. If this practice makes the fans to force a company to localize their game, then I don't mind.

We are seeing big titles like Yokai Watch and Fatal Frame V being localized thanks to region lock.

Consumers think that this practice is bad, where in actuality, they are paying more than they are supposed to in order to import games. I don't want to play game without understanding the story of the game, or knowing characters' background. What's the point of localization team if the console is region free?
