Re: Nintendo Direct Mini Is Happening Right Now

Azooooz

Some people are missing these points:

1- It's a mini direct, which means that big announcements are saved for later (Maybe at E3).

2- Nintendo so far ported only the best of the Wii U games to the Switch. Last year we got Pokken Tournament, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (though it also counts as a new game since it's released the same day as the Wii U version). This year we'll be getting Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze so far.

3- Nintendo wants to make sure that there's no software drought during the year. This plan worked very well last year, so they're doing the same.

4- Bonus: You get Switch exclusive features when playing these games.

It isn't called "Limited Edition" for nothing. This is just a bonus from Nintendo to gather old fans and make them buying it before year end. The primary focus for Nintendo should be focusing on their main consoles (Switch and 3DS).

If any of you thinks that SNES Mini or any retro mini consoles should be on store shelves like forever, then you are delusional.
