@oji At the same time, this may be useful for people who aren't any good at self-teaching to maybe learn beginning coding concepts.
In the end, no, it's not going to train anybody up to a professional level, but it doesn't hurt to have utilities out there that might help to demystify the concept of writing code to those of us (like me) who would otherwise be helpless when left to their own devices to have to self-teach not just a language, but the very concept of coding itself.
IF they add more games to the Castlevania collection (and I'm not 100% sure they will, despite the popular assumptions), I actually hope that Castlevania X68K is one of them. It's different enough from the NES version to warrant it, IMO.
Not expecting Saturn games to hit the Switch, I'm just not.
My guess is they're looking at more Genesis/MD titles that never had an official translation (Pulseman, Surging Aura, Rent-A-Hero, maybe King Colossus if there's not a licensing issue).
Forgetting the "localization" part, it'd be interesting to see more of their arcade games be released. Super GT (aka Scud Race) would be nice.
@Shiryu I was about to say. I know that the recent PC Cyber Formula GPX game was a completely different dev team than the GC one, but this trailer reminded me mostly of that, just with higher production values.
I'd like to say that people need to take a step back and not freak out every time some form of media doesn't cater to whatever their big issue is, but let's face it, nobody wants to hear that.
@Arnold-Kage Not likely, since they're not the developers in that case. Rune Factory AND Lufia are both developed by Neverland, and the franchises in Japan are owned by different publishers; Marvelous AQ for Rune Factory, and Taito (Square-Enix) for Lufia.
Natsume may have bought the western rights to the names, but it'd be up to the original devs (and the Japanese publishers) to put out something authentic first.
OK, so all that's left unpublished after this batch is the Visco stuff (Breakers, Neo Drift-Out, Ganryu, etc.) and the Technos Japan stuff (Gowcaizer, Super Dodge Ball, etc.)?

Re: The Red Lantern Slides Onto Switch Later This Year
I'm not sure I have the constitution to handle dead huskies, even virtual ones.

Re: Konami Releasing Anniversary Collection Series On Nintendo Switch
Damn it, Konami.
Time Pilot? Gyruss? Xexex? Green Beret?
Re: Feature: The Best 2D Platformers On Nintendo Switch
LOVE/kuso I think warrant mentioning, too.
Re: Watch The First Gameplay Footage Of Disc-Slinger Windjammers 2
That art style just isn't doing it for me.
Re: Shoot 'Em Up Bundle Vasara Collection Gets New Mode And Screenshots Ahead Of Release
So, with Visco properties being licensed, hopefully Hamster can get in on the action and we can get Neo Drift-Out.
Re: Random: Unreleased Wrestling Game On NES Discovered After 30 Years
@retro_player_22 Universal Wrestling Corporation.
It was the actual Business entity name that WCW operated under.
Re: Limited Run Says Fans Will Be Very Excited About Its Next Physical Release On Switch
@TheFanatic And it's already been promised to go to some YouTube personality.
Re: Hori USA Drops The Price Of Its D-Pad Joy-Con Controller
It might be helpful for all the ACA Neo-Geo stuff I have, but I still can't bring myself to buy one.
Re: Poll Confirms That Sobble Is The Most Popular Pokémon Sword And Shield Starter
Pretty much always pick Fire to start (except in Black/White, where I went with Water).
Though this gen, Grass leads to multiple obvious lame thinly veiled song references ("Grass Monkey", "Grookey Gang", etc.)
Re: Gallery: A Complete Breakdown Of The Pokémon Sword And Shield Trailer
Galar seems... Scottish, I suppose.
Re: God Of War's Art Director Is Still Posting Incredible Realistic Smash Ultimate Designs
Eh, it's nice to see a Peach that doesn't look like a crossplayer doing Animegao/Kigurumi, like the "official" Nintendo art does.
Re: Square Enix Trademarks Collection Of Mana In Japan
Likely just going to be the two 3D remakes.
Re: Video: Don't Get Your Hopes Up About Project H.A.M.M.E.R. Or Scalebound Making A Comeback
Cosmic Walker.
Re: Random: Plush Neo Geo Mini Arrives To Steal Your Heart And Wallet
Already has a more reliable stick than the actual Neo Geo Mini.
Re: Devil Engine Is The Closest We'll Get To A New Thunder Force Game In 2019
Hyakutaro~
Hoping for a new "The Justice Ray" in this.
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Has Plans To Revive A "Dead And Buried" Game
A friend of mine seems convinced that it's Cosmic Walker.
Re: Four New DLC Fighters Join BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle This Spring
It was strange to me that BB Naoto wasn't in the game in the first place.
Re: Review: Tetris 99 - A Revolutionary Take On A Puzzle Classic
So, with Arika developing, does it use TGM rules?
Re: Hamster's Next Batch Of Switch Arcade Releases Includes None Other Than Ice Climber
@Shiryu My soul cries out for X-Multiply.
Re: Nintendo Download: 14th February (North America)
LOVE will probably take up the last of my MicroSD card.
So I guess it'll be time to get a new one.
Re: Square Enix Trademarks Final Fantasy Adventure And Secret Of Mana In The US
Probably going to be the two 3D remakes.
They're not going to put in the effort to translate the 3rd game.
Re: Random: Estate Agent Advertises Home By Uploading 21 Photos Of A Creepy Pikachu
I don't even want to know why they knew where they could get a wearable inflatable Pikachu...
Re: This Officially Licensed Fighting Stick Mini Looks Perfect For Your Portable Beat 'Em Ups On Switch
Would want something like that more for space shooters than for fighters, because I've never been able to play fighters worth a crap with a stick.
Re: Puzzle Bobble 2 Hits Switch Tomorrow Thanks To Hamster's Neo Geo Collection
Come on, Hamster. License the Visco and Technos Neo-Geo games already.
Re: Review: Etrian Odyssey Nexus - A Stellar Send-Off For A Beloved RPG Series
@BulbasaurusRex And yet, the sequel, UnchainBlade EXXIV, stayed Japan-only.
Re: Rumour: Next DLC Fighter For Smash Bros. Ultimate Seemingly Teased By Game Supervisor
@ReaderRagfihs Not liking anything (and that extends beyond video games) is kind of his thing.
Re: Review: Etrian Odyssey Nexus - A Stellar Send-Off For A Beloved RPG Series
Likely my last 3DS title.
And just like all the other EOs, I'll never even come close to finishing it.
Re: Piranha Plant Was Silently Nerfed In Day One Smash Ultimate Update
@Sandro89 Because "PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEEEEE!"
That's why.
Re: Sega AGES Development Team Might Localise Games That Have Never Been Translated
@BulbasaurusRex The text is still Japanese, is it not?
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th January (Europe)
@Moroboshi876 They actually haven't. NL just lists it that way.

@diablo2 Just be thankful that for once, nL didn't compare something to OutRun.

Re: Ronda Rousey Teases Mortal Kombat 11 Invitation
Rousey? Hope they didn't plan on selling any copies to Gen Y.
Re: Review: YIIK: A Postmodern RPG - EarthBound For A New Generation
Nobody is owed having everything catered specifically to their one most-wanted issue.
And they're not being oppressed over not having everything catered to their issue, either.
But I guess if one can't dominate people's attention and conversation in reality, one has to try and do it on the internet.

Aura Battler Dunbine AGAIN?
Geez, switch things up, Bamco.
Re: Legrand Legacy: Tale Of The Fatebound Brings PS2-Inspired JRPG Action To Switch This Month
I don't want to be that kind of person, but I roll my eyes any time somebody says an RPG's story is going to be "tear-jerking".
Re: Review: Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition - Bursting At The Seams With Musou Goodness
Let me guess.
Only 30 FPS?
Re: Talking Point: It's A Pretty Sweet Time For 'New' Retro Games, But What Does It Mean For Collectors?
Someone once gifted me a Repro of MUSHA as a joke (though the actual joke had something to do with ex-baseball player Sammy Sosa).
I still don't know if I've forgiven him or not.

Re: Rumour: Super Lucky's Tale Could Be Making The Switch
@AshFoxX Strangely (or perhaps not), I haven't played any of those, myself, heh.
Re: Feature: The Final Wii U Games We'd Like To See On Switch In 2019
@subpopz Most importantly, a portable system.
Re: Video: Take A Look At New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe In This Introduction Trailer
Still kind of wishing they'd have picked 3D World instead of this...
Re: Japanese Charts: Smash Bros. Ultimate Continues To Dominate As Switch Consoles Fly Off Shelves
I never know just how I'm supposed to feel about the enduring success of Senran Kagura.
Re: Hamster Reveals Latest Batch Of Neo Geo Titles Heading for Switch
@wazlon Well, "Bust a Move" WAS a dancing game in Japan.
Not motion-controlled, but otherwise...

Re: The First Two Panzer Dragoon Games Are Getting Remade
Not sure I trust an outside studio doing a remake when they say they're changing up the gameplay with "several modifications".
If they were just doing a direct remake in HD, I'd be a lot more confident in it.
