At some point, Sega needs to be comprehensive about getting more of their Genesis/MD-era IPs into these collections (not going to mention 3rd party stuff at all, for obvious reasons).
Even without S3&K, there's still way too much they keep passing up :
-Jewel Master -Pulseman -ThunderForce 2, 3, and 4 (and yeah, 4 is a Sega Ages release, but it would keep things mostly comprehensive, since Sega owns TechnoSoft's IPs now) -Elemental Master -Super Monaco GP -Arrow Flash -Ranger X -G-LOC -Mystic Defender (assuming enough of the license has been stripped out that it wouldn't cost them)
And really, even just adding those would make it feel like there wouldn't be any huge glaring holes.
I personally like Savage Reign, but I don't begrudge anybody s***ting all over it. It's stiff, special motions can be a little unintuitive, and not really tournament-worthy, if that's a requirement for some people.
It's pretty much going to be the same as it was on PS4 and Vita.
I also would have preferred an ACA NeoGeo version (and I'm almost NEVER snobbish about these sorts of things), but being as I'm pretty sure it's one of the properties owned by Paon instead of G-Mode (and G-Mode owned Data East properties usually end up as part of the "Johnny Turbo" line anyway), it's also not surprising.
If it was something previously cancelled, it's not going to be a port of something that was already released elsewhere.
So the only thing I can think of is True Fantasy Online, unless there was a cancelled White Knight game at some point (though I don't think there was).
The console versions use an alternate control scheme (direct 1:1 control over the character instead of point-and-click). A lot of people don't like it, but plenty enough do.
I'm no huge fan of the "Big N" (or "Ninty", as our Euro Superiors call it), but I don't begrudge them their power to cut off distribution of game data for their hardware.
However, I also don't expect them to be able to stop everybody from seeking out ways to subvert their draconian practices.

Re: HAMSTER Reveals The Next Batch Of Switch-Bound Neo Geo Games
Sadly, no Ninja Master's. I think that's the only game left I'm hoping makes it over.
Well, that and Viewpoint.
Re: Nintendo Download: 1st November (North America)
Why do the NA listings always list last week's ACA NeoGeo instead of this week's?
This week's is Pleasure Goal : 5-on-5 Futsal.
Re: SEGA AGES Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Might Be The Best Version We've Ever Had
One would figure that if M2 does their own version of HPZ (though I expect they won't), it'd have to have a different layout than the Taxman version.
Re: Undertale's Creator Is Teasing A "Very Interesting" Announcement
@Deku-Scrub I'd rather they give the rights to the "Space Funeral" guy.

Re: Waluigi Fans Cause More Drama At PAX Aus With '#WahtAboutMe' Super Smash Bros. Protest
Jeebus Creebus. Does EVERYTHING have to have an obnoxious "protest" movement (serious or otherwise) behind it now?

@YANDMAN Ninja Commando came out over a month ago.

Re: Review: Windjammers - One Of The World's Greatest Two-Player Games Finally Comes To Switch
Disc Jam is really a different game entirely, with a completely different scoring system.
And I found the controls in that game to be too loose to really come to grips with.
Re: AtGames Disappoints Again With The Bandai Namco Flashback Blast
@FragRed They likely bid the cheapest. They tell companies that they can build a plug and play cash-in cheaper than anybody else can.
And then they cut corners so bad that they're finally burning bridges with publishers.

Re: Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition Is Heading To Switch In The West
Yeah, no. 60 FPS or bust, but it's probably just going to be 30 again.

Blops? In Japan?
I thought FPSs were a lost cause over there?

@Tsusasi If a company doesn't defend their IP, they can lose the rights to it.

Re: Random: Super Mario Party Shows That Nintendo Still Can't Decide Birdo's Gender
Because hey, who DOESN'T want to waste their life getting worked up into a furor over the perceived sexual politics of Mario characters?

Re: It Sucks To Say It, But Castlevania Requiem Isn't Coming To Switch
@gameboy1975
Nobody believes that.
When people say "It wouldn't have happened without Sony", they don't mean that Konami couldn't afford it.
They just mean that Konami had no plans or desire to make it happen until Sony paid them to.
Re: It Sucks To Say It, But Castlevania Requiem Isn't Coming To Switch
@gameboy1975
What makes you think that Konami had ANY plans to do this before Sony begged them to and threw money at them?
This wasn't in Konami's plans at all before that happened.
Re: Skullo Mania Joins The Cast Of SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy
Done.
Not every single character out there has to be given giant tits.
And yeah, I know most of you will have a reason to complain at me.
Re: It Sucks To Say It, But Castlevania Requiem Isn't Coming To Switch
I think people are being intentionally ignorant about this when they say "Konami can pay for it by themselves!"
That's not the point.
The point is that Konami NEVER had ANY PLANS on porting this to any system at all.
They're ONLY doing it because Sony paid them to.
