Re: Round Up: Everything Announced For Nintendo Switch At Nacon Connect 2023

Man Gollum just keeps looking more and more interesting!

Though I figured with the delays it was to improve the graphics and whatnot, but they still seem to be the same ol second last gen graphics they showcased since announcing it. (which isn't exactly a bad thing, so long as the game itself is good!)

Like it doesn't look bad, I just wonder about some of the design choices. Just why does Gollum look like he's preparing his troops to remilitarize the Rhineland? lol

Re: Splatoon 3's Fresh Season Update Is On The Way, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

So for paid DLC they are just going to give players an area from a previous game. An area that will have all the exact same purchase options as the original Splatoon 3 hub will during the same 24hr span... Am I understanding that correctly? Like is there literally nothing else in the first DLC but the hub from the original Splatoon?

Am I so genuinely confused haha

@Bucky it's an MMO so I feel it'd be weirder if it wasn't online lol But I do wish there was a way to play offline... My internet connection isn't the best so I'm just waiting for the first time my internet disconnects, I'm liable to toss the cartridge into the disposal lol

@Pat_trick If ya can get it on sale it's worth the price! I wouldn't wanna pay top dollar for it. But if you enjoyed og pokemon you'll probably enjoy it.

@BananaMetallurgica It's not a bad game. It's certainly not a AAA title or anything. But it's worth the pricetag if you were looking to play Pokemon with a few friends cooperatively. The random battles are basically the same as they were in the og pokemon. Walk two steps and you're in a battle... unless you're actively looking to battle and you'll spend 2 minutes desperately looking for a 'mon/temtem to fight lol

Honestly I could care less about the state of the graphics and the jaggedness of some of the edges while playing

What's been (somewhat) frustrating to me is having to wait a few minutes for assets in my base to load (ie the save points, refinery, etc). But aside from that I've been enjoying every passing moment in my playtime

Re: Talking Point: What's The Worst Game That You Still Love For Some Reason?

My pick would probably have to go to Battleborne.
I really dug the fps moba gameplay and kinda wish other shooters would implement that gameplay instead of the same Battle Royale multiplayer add ons.
It's too bad it released as closely to Overwatch as it did and required so much grinding in order to unlock all the heroes at the start. It had, in my opinion, the potential to be something special

@lpfz has any updates aided in it's playability?
Only just seeing this game myself and my little fella would probably enjoy playing it, but I'm not gonna waste the money if it's still broken lol
