@Rhaoulos She looks like a witch on the PS5 Pro. Can't spoil it because I've only played 45 minutes of it, but the captive girl in basement, looks a lot like her.

I feel like any desire to buy this would stem from nostalgia. Just like nostalgia, you rarely get that original feeling of the first-hand experience you are recalling.

I'm hoping for something significant but I'm more likely to get "meh"

@Bizzyb I hope that is what is going on. Never seen this bad of a reception to ANY Yakuza game. I even opted for my monthly game purchase to be DQ VII reimagined because all of the bad publicity on this game. Regardless, I'll pick it up, just not this month

@Mabelissimo I was so disappointed that MKW didn't have a proper story mode. I've missed that aspect ever since Diddy Kong racing. Granted it has an exploration mode but one that I consider, under-baked

Still waiting for a mainline Mario game on Switch 2. When I bought the Switch 2, I didn't know the 2 meant now you'll now be able to play Switch 1 games on 2 consoles. Pretty crazy to release a new console with no mainline Zelda or Mario.

First half of 2026 is almost too stacked. It's a good problem to have, though

Do I have to shove my face into the device with itsitting on a table? I remember eons ago a test unit at Ebgames, Babbages, or whatever they were before Gamestop came along. It was a cool experience but can't imagine long playing times in that mode.

I have fond memories of working 2nd shift in a healthcare industry and coming home and firing the original up on my Playstation. They never quiet captured that same magic again.

Learn how to write successful prompts and even beyond that human art will still be valuable. The same way Pixar isn't as valuable as a Rembrandt, though both exist today.

Playing the updated Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2 in preparation for Kiwami 3 remaster/remake in Feb. May play Yakuza 6, if I finish these in with time to spare.

@Spider-Kev You play that many games at once?? You can delete a game without deleting the saves. If you truly need that many games installed at once, hats off. I'm jealous, that's more spare time than I have for gaming.

It's a niche genre. I loved it. It's not COD49 or some other overused AAA genre, but that's why it won't be a GOTY. I get CO33 because it's one of the OG genres of gaming, and I loved it myself, but I think it will be a cold day in Hades before a VN ever wins GOTY. It's like a dark secret of gamers. A very, very fun dark secret.
