@Multi Yeah, I guess it's game related, but contracts come and go all of the time. A contract, by its very nature, has a beginning and an end. My heart goes out to people displaced, but this happens all of the time.

Why wouldn't it be fair to expect this type of game for $20? The fact people are putting out crapware for $20, is the real problem. You don't have to give it away but price it where it's equivalent to the gampelay and you'll move more product. The fact Steam and game keys exist, shouldn't mean higher costs.

Back when studios weren't afraid to take chances at a darker emotional game. You still get that on Steam games, but almost never on consoles. Even a game like Conker's Bad Fur Day, has almost no chance of seeing a greenlight on consoles, especially Nintendo.

DK and it isn't even close. Played both. MKW feels like MW8 with new paint and a few gimmicks, but that's the issue with the series. Insanely fun with a lot of people, but not so much for people who prefer to introvert.

Devoting all my attention to Death Stranding 2. Absolute masterpiece. I bought the first one and it sat on my shelf for year. Once I started I couldn't put it down. All of the reviews saying "walking simulator" are completely wrong. A story better than most modern movies.

I'm getting Wii/DS successor vibes. I'm always pleasantly surprised when video game companies succeed where I doubted them. Prior to the OG Switch, I thought Nintendo might be headed down the SEGA road. I was wrong then and hope I'm wrong now.

I plan on getting one but gonna let the silly season of launch run its course. Nothing yet that I see as a system seller.Side by side of Mario Kart 8 and 9 and I can barely tell the difference.Might just be my vision, but I can wait.

@Greenspan Getting really, really bad DS/Wii successor vibes here. (Sincerely hope Nintendo proves me wrong.) So far all I've seen is basically the Switch Pro, we all talked about for years, with no OLED screen. Calling this a Switch 2 is going to be chaos enough.

I don't know if I completely blame Nintendo, and really hope I'm dead wrong, but I really am starting to get some Wii U vibes based on cost and game lineup. I won't celebrate if I'm right, just looking to me like Switch 2 may be a victim of the times and extremely high expectations of a successor to its highly successful predecessor. (Sound familiar?)

If your biggest concern in life is waiting for everything to settle down to buy a Switch 2, you are doing something right. We'll be fine.

I love my OG Switch but Dualsense, quirks and all, is the best controller I've ever used, hands down. Also, throwing drift stones from a Nintendo glass house?

Non-OLED makes no sense at launch. I'd rather have paid more and then you could launch a "lite" version later with non-OLED. Bypassing OLED makes zero sense in 2025. Especially considering you already launched an OLED on the predecessor.

I'm probably in the minority, but a little underwhelmed by what I've seen so far. It's probably fatigue from how long this game has been in the works but sort of feel like they might have been better off aiming for Switch 2, at this point.

After playing Tales of Arise a couple of years back and just recently Tales of Grace F remastered, went back to find other Tales games and have been playing Tales of Berseria almost non-stop this past week. Great game. As an RPG fan, no idea how I missed out on these.

Finished Tales of Graces F Remaster. Loved it so much went back and got another Tales game I haven't played. Tales of Berseria (which interestingly doesn't show up in voting bar, but other Tales games do). Great game so far. DEVOUR!
