It's really impressive to see a recent AAA game like this running this good on the Switch 2. And I'm sure it will get even better with some patches, like Star Wars.
It will end up being pretty much the same as the Series S version, which is amazing.

After this, RE9 and 007, it will be clear that, if a game is not announced for the Switch 2, it's because the company doesn't want to, not because the machine is not powerful enough.

@Denoloco You said that the Nintendolife sentence about the Switch 1 not supporting the HDR, unlike the Switch 2, "only applies to the docked experience". And that's NOT true, no matter how you see it, as the Switch 2 screen also supports HDR, even though it's not as great as it could be.

Therefore, you were wrong.

I'm really glad they released it on the OG Switch as well, but honestly, this is a game to fully enjoy on the new hardware.

Nice Nier and this were the last ones I was waiting to get patched! I'm glad all the games are now supported.

Now please, release more Switch 2 editions, even if we have to pay a bit for them. RDR looks amazing in the console.

Already preordered! Even though my expectation have lowered a little bit after the reviews here and there, I'm still looking forward to playing it.
Actually, going with lower expectations could be better, as that affects the way you enjoy things.

What a week for Switch 2 owners! I'm interested in literally all of them...

I'm so glad they delayed it, it's looking really good.
Elden Ring is such an amazing game, although I've never played the DLC. I'm definitely getting the Switch 2 version if it's good enough, and playing the whole game again plus the DLC.

@Jhena They're still very unique games. There's nothing like Tomba out there, not even among indies... I still don't understand why.

Fantastic game back in the day! I liked it even more than the first one.
However, I really hope they make a GOOD port this time, and also that they fix the first one... What a mess they're doing with such an amazing series.

It's still hard to believe this is running on a Nintendo console... I'm convinced this will be patched to avoid fps drops when undocked, as it's the main way people will play the game on Switch 2.
Also, it's certain this will get a cut in price pretty soon (Ubisoft being Ubisoft), and this is the week of Metroid.

Therefore, even though I really want to play this game, I'll wait a couple of months before I jump in. By then I'm sure it will be AWESOME. Same as Star Wars Outlaws.

I'm glad the game turned out well, same as Fantasy Life i. Now I'm more confident Professor Layton and Decapolice will also be great games, which is good, very good.

That's great to hear! I'm not getting the game yet, as other ones have priority (and I just got the Switch 2 lol), but I'll get it eventually for sure. I'm sure it'll be so much fun!

Finally! A Switch 2 upgrade would be nicer, of course, but this is enough reason to give the game a shot (it's been sitting in the backlog for a while). Although I'm afraid it'll have to wait until I'm done with Metroid...

I'm sorry, but 30 fps for a fighting game and a racing game is unacceptable. I'll wait for the performance mode upgrade, otherwise I'll pass.
Same with Sonic Racing when in 4 players split screen.
Companies should start adding the performance mode from now on, or else they'll lose a lot of potential consumers.

@OldGamer999 Even though it isn't, Metroid Prime 4 does look like a Switch 2 exclusive. It looks and runs INCREDIBLE and uses all Switch 2 capabilities. And it's an AAA game.

Very strange that Blue Prince won the Best Indie Game over Silksong and Hades 2, and that Ghost of Yotei won the Best Console Game over DK Bananza... But I guess it's all a matter of tastes.

With this game, same as with Mario Kart, I'll wait till it's complete and on a good sale. No rush. And in Sonic's case, I'll play it on Switch 2, of course. Let's hope they add 60fps when in 4 players mode by then!

@RainbowSplatter Well, basically because Spanish is the world's second-most spoken native language, with over 630 million speakers, while Dutch only has about 25 millions... That's the difference.

Square has been translating games since FFVII, back in the nineties, they can't do this now. We have to fight for out rights, dude!

The top 28 are basically must play lol. Crazy series, the best by far!

On the Switchs we've got a lot of great stuff already, BotW/TotK, LA/EoW, the HW spin offs... Fantastic games all of them. Now on Switch 2 we just need: remakes of OoT and ALttP, a new 2D Zelda and a new 3D Zelda (with a different setting).
That would be everything to make me more than happy haha.

I knew this already from the day this version was announced, but anyway, it's always good to remind us to buy the game as soon as it's on sale during the Black Friday lol.

Next year will be great for Falcom games, although to make it perfect, they could release a Switch 2 upgrade for Ys VIII and IX. They don't look and run great on the Switch, honestly...

I would actually get all of them, sooner or later!

I guess only people that have played the original game will know who that guy is lol. No idea.
