Hey, I heard you are asking for games like Chrono Trigger, Super Soccer, Illusion of Time/Gaia, Terranigma or Bahamut Lagoon. Well, here you have other ones!

That's so freaking right! That's why we love Nintendo, because they keep what it makes them special and unique. And if they want to create something more... western-like, they give the projects to western studios, like Retro and Mercury for the Metroid series.

This game looks so much fun. I never played the original, only the sequel, and I thought it was GREAT. I will definitely get this one whenever it comes out.

They should release it as soon as posible, though. They better avoid competing with the new 3D Mario game which is suposedly on the way this year...

@StewdaMegaManNerd I'm talking about my personal experience. In my case, Metroid will always be a priority over any Mario.

For example, give me a Metroid Dread 2 any day before a Mario Wonder 2. And I liked Wonder a lot, mind you. It's just... worse than Dread haha. In my opinion.

@johnedwin For you maybe. I expect MUCH more a new Metroid Prime than a new Mario. We've got a lot of 3D Marios in the last 20 years, but 3D Metroids...??

@StewdaMegaManNerd As much as I like Mario games, if Metroid Prime 4 is as good as the first one, it will overshadow everything else.

@johnedwin What can be BIGGER than a brand new Metroid Prime?? Apart from a new Zelda (which won't happen, it's too soon), I can't think of anything else.

As soon as we get proper confirmation that the Switch 1 games will be updated in the next console, so that they'll look sharper and run smoother, I'll go to the eshop and buy games such as the Batman Arkham Trilogy, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Hogwarts Legacy, Doom Eternal and such, when I see them on sale.

I don't want to play them the way they are at the moment, but I'd love to have them day one when I put my hands on the Switch 2.

@fenlix What's wrong with that? Torna improves a lot upon the base game, and the characters are better. Jin, Addam and Mythra are some of the best characters in the whole series.

@UltimateOtaku91 Well, the DLCs are even better than the base games, so...

Xenoblade X is great, anyway. An 8.5 is no low at all, but the Xenoblade series is fantastic overall. And X is far from being perfect (the WiiU version at least, the Switch version will improve pretty much everything, so probably it will be perfect).

@MischiefMaker Do you mean Civ 6 or 7? I bought Civ 6 for the Switch quite a long time ago, but so far I haven't got into it. If that's the game you mean, I will have to check it out!

I'm currently playing Xenoblade 3: Future Redeemed and Portal 2 on Switch, and FFVII Rebirth on the PS5 (I hope this game comes to the Switch 2, it's 1000 times better than the first one). Great games all!

Seeing the image of the article, I played M&L Brothership a few months back, and it's quite fun! It's not Paper Mario's level of fun (OK and TTYD are better games), and the last part was way too long, but it's a notable game. I had a good time with it! Reccommended.

Say what you like about Xenoblade 2, guys, but there's no denying that it has the best world and towns from the series.
Xenoblade 3 is the worst one in this regard. The world is way too simple for a Xenoblade game, and all the towns suck (except for one).

@Serpenterror Lol many of those games don't even belong to the same series, man. The only ones that do are the ones from Xenogears to Xenoblade 3. Although you're missing Future Redeemed.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is probably the best experiencie, although 2 and 3 are also great.

Regardless, I think the game I enjoyed the most was Torna. What an incredible experience!

And Suikoden! Where are the Suikoden games? This list is missing a lot of masterpieces.

The Ori games are simply fantastic.

I really can't choose between BotK and TotK, both are simply brilliant games, and define perfectly the Switch generation for me. Without them, nothing would have been the same.
So definitely those (I chose BotW in the poll, but it doesn't matter).

@sheilamiavalencia Hey! Sorry hahah, I actually saw it in a Spanish webpage called Vandal (I'm Spanish). They said that in the preview of the game, after trying it out for a few hours.

@Neckcrane They could actually learn a thing or three from XC2.

@batmanbud2 Uhmmm what?? The only main character from FF that has a big sword I believe is Cloud, from FFVII, and the only blonde character in the Xenoblade series is Shulk, from the first game. Only 2 characters match that description, and there are tons of main characters from both series haha.

The Xenoblade series is closed, so hopefully they're working on a new IP for the Switch 2!

I want to play these games so badly! But first I need to get rid of some of my backlog, I still have to play several games I bought over a year ago...
It's on the wishlist though! I will get it as soon as I can.

This song sounds great, but like many other ones in this game, I feel that the voices aren't needed. I'm so glad now we'll have the chance to get rid of them...!

I can't wait to play them again! It's been ages since I did last time, but I hold fond memories from them.

I hope they release a patch to fix the few issues, though.

One of the best Zeldas out there, and one of my favorite games of all time. A true gem with a perfect game design.

Many people will be surprised when they find out with this OST that not everything started with OoT lol.

@Joe-b Is the Switch version good? I've only played Ys VIII on PC, and I LOVED IT. However, I heard it's not that good on Switch... I'd buy it there so I could play it again on the go, but...

I got it for 30€ a long time ago for the Switch, but still, it's a good thing that they do this.

This game is a MUST HAVE for any JRPG fan out there.

Xenoblade and Suikoden for me! And probably Lunar, as I've never played them. Great time for RPG fans.

And for the next couple of months, Fantasy Life and Rune Factory. Very nice!

The other day I finally tried this game, and I couldn't get to play couch coop with 3 friends... Only if one was against the other three.
How is that posible? I got mad, I don't understand why this game has such high scores everywhere...

Suikoden and Xenoblade will be mine at some point, but not for now...
I just started Future Redeemed last week, so I'll be busy for a while with Xenoblade.

By the way, where is Atelier Yumia? I'm surprised not to see it here.

I bet the physical version will come over the West later on, so I'll patiently wait for that. But the game looks fantastic, I'll end up getting it regardless, sooner or later.

Of course we won't get a first peek at Gen 10. This year will be full Pokemon Legends, and that makes me happy. I hope it has improved a lot the formula. The potential is there!

It looks good, actually! It would be nice if they released a Definitive Edition for this game, I would get it for the Switch 2.

I'm SO open to buy more Xbox games on the Switch! I've already got both Oris and Pentiment, but I'd gladly get many more games if they ever come over to Switch or Switch 2, and if they appeal to me.

I was very happy to FINALLY have a release date, but... What the hell are they doing?? No physical, really?? Well, I'm afraid this won't be a day one, then. I'll wait for a sale, I never pay 60€ for digital games.

Of course it will continue. Gamecube and Wii games (and hopefully DS and 3DS) will JOIN the service, it would be pointless to start all over again.
The Switchs generations will be like one, cut in two big pieces. And that's the way to go. Whatever happens afterwards won't matter.

Fully?? I don't actually expect to see GTA6 running on Switch, but these words imply the opposite...
We'll see if Switch can properly run that game, it would be crazy!
