Come on Capcom, don't be stupid. If you want to support the console, bring over native versions of RE 7, 8, the remakes of 2, 3 and 4, Devil May Cry 4 and 5, Dragon's Dogma 2, Monster Hunter World, Onimusha and Okami 2.

There are TONS of games they can release on Switch 2, we don't need a game we know the console won't be able to run properly...

Oh wow, another mech game that flops... Colour me surprised.

You come late, Nintendolife, I watched that video a couple days ago. However, now there is another video on Youtube with 30+ min. footage, and it looks pretty damn good!! Perfect time for a new Direct, after this crazy week with Hollow Knight, Star Wars and Cronos.

Come on, there's still hope we'll get to play Metroid Prime 4 this year! Within the first weeks of November would be a perfect time to release it. It's not competing at all with neither Pokemon nor Kirby, and anyway, there's plenty of time between them.

By the way, did anyone notice the first Hollow Knight was released around the time the first Switch was released? It seems they've waited for the Switch 2 to go out to release HK 2. Funny.

@fenlix You're right, but considering the original Hollow Knight was quite cheap when it was released (most indie games used to cost 20-25 at the time), now it doesn't shock me to see they're still releasing the game cheaper than most.
Better reason now that they got TONS of money from the first one (remember they're only 3 or 4 people) and they know this will sell like hotcakes.

I'm missing here the Suikoden bases! Best parts of those games.
Also, Breath of the Wild and Ys VIII could be included.

I really like city building as well, it's a very enjoyable task (optional or not). Especially the parts where you have to recruit people, so that they contribute with their jobs, and so more options you get. Pretty cool stuff.

It's an indie game, what did you expect, 90...?? Please, guys.

The original Hollow Knight was released for 15 bucks, the sequel couldn't cost much more considering it's quite samey (which is not a bad thing, mind you).

Does this mean the game is not properly "done" yet?

I wonder if the Switch 2 version will be fully optimised, or if that will be a part of the "roadmap" as well...

@RemyMartin Well, when the WiiU came out, we actually had to wait ONE WHOLE YEAR to get something exciting (first and third), so...

And the Wii? Apart from Twlight Princess (which I played on Gamecube), what else came out within the first year (until August that Metroid Prime 3 came out)? I tell you: nothing. Not even third party games, I wish the Wii had HALF the third party support the Switch 2 is getting...

The Switch 1 line up for the first year was an exception. Normally thing were way worse than they are now.

Cronos, Silksong and Trails in the Sky for me! Great month this one. And maybe Daemon X Machina and FF Tactics later on, on sale.
I hope the Switch 2 version Cronos is worth it! Looking forward to the reviews.

I heard Star Wars Outlaws is not running well on Switch 2, such a pity, although maybe it will be good after some patches (and Ubisoft games tend to be on sale pretty early).
Also the Sonic racing game seems to be quite average, and considering Kirby Air Riders is coming soon, well...

I don't know you, but I can't wait for this one to come out!

The games we ALL want to get an upgrade are games like the Xenoblade series, Witcher 3, Astral Chain, Bayonetta 3, Nier Automata, Doom Eternal, Kingdom Come Deliverance, etc.

And what about proper releases (not cloud) of games such as the Kingdom Hearts or Resident Evil series...?

Seriously, what are these companies waiting for?

@Dang_69 Well, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze on Switch was MORE EXPENSIVE than on the WiiU, and didn't include any new level at all... And there was no way to get an upgrade pack either.
So after that, this is a bargain lol.

Yep, this will be one of the first games I will get once I have a Switch 2! Loved the original Switch game, it was a great experience.

All these games should DEFINITELY come to Switch 2! I bet they can get them run properly, even if it's at locked 30fps.

I bet this game will be fantastic, with all they, have learned over the years, and this news makes it even more exciting. I will likely get it day one!

I still have to play Ys IX, now that the framerate is decent on Switch 2, so I'm not in a hurry. But I'm looking forward to this one!

Anyway, I want most of the games in that list, indeed, especially Baldur's Gate 3, Expedition 33, Metaphor, RDR 2, Silent Hill 2 remake and the Like a Dragon saga.
Apart form those, I also want:

-Kingdom Hearts (no cloud)
-Dragon's Dogma 2

It seems like they're learning, little by little.

If next year they release a remake of Black & White, by 2027 we might finally get a PROPER new Pokemon game, with the gen X. We can only hope...

In Switch, some Ninja Gaiden Ragebound (great game!) and the always-good Fantasy Life.

However, I recently played Star Wars Jedi Survivor and Expedition 33 on other consoles, and wow, amazing games!! I really hope they end up coming to Switch 2, so that everyone can enjoy them. Especially Expedition 33 is such a memorable experience.

I got the Switch 1 version, enjoyed a lot and sold it. Now I'm getting the Switch 2 version directly.

Great game, and now it seems even better.

I bet we'll get a release date, along with a new trailer, very soon, Nintendo style.
Hopefully it will launch by the end of September, but if it's in November, it will be perfectly fine.

Sooner or later, the Game Key Card issue is going to affect Switch 2 sales...
Nintendo needs to handle this situation as soon as possible.
