The game looks amazing, but I'll wait to play it properly on the Switch 2!

This and Kingdom Come 2 should definitely come to Switch 2!
Both of them would be day one for sure, if the port is well done.

I watched the whole video and wow, this is going to be huge!

I'm really hyped for the Switch 2, even though I'll wait for a bit until I get it (not in a rush, I can wait for Metroid to come out).

This game will be day 1 for three reasons:

-It's a FANTASTIC game.
-The Switch 2 version is GREAT.
-The whole game, even the DLC, is on the card.

These are the kind of things we have to support, so we show the rest of third parties that THIS is what we want. That this is the way to go.

@VoidofLight How much exactly will this game cost on Switch 2 and on PS5/PC? I honestly have no idea of the prices. So are paying more than them?

I'll buy the Switch 2 when Metroid Prime 4 comes out, and until then, I'll get back to 3DS for some unfinished businesses.
So all the Switch titles I have in the backlog (tons), like this Fantasy Life i, I'll be playing them on the Switch 2 with all the improvements.

So I'm happy to see this game will get big improvements on Switch 2, as that's where I'll be playing it at some point

Easy, then: buy the game on Switch 1, and then get the upgrade for the Switch 2.

@Spider-Kev Wow, it's true, I'm surprised it's coming out so late... I wonder then if they'll release something else, otherwise between DK and Metroid it will be quite empty.

-DK Bananza: July
-Drag x Drive: August
-Hyrule Warriors: September
-Metroid Prime: October
-Pokemon Legends: November

Kirby Air Riders will be pushed to February/March 2026. It's pointless to compete against MK World this Christmas, and they know it lol.
It's a good line up, and a lot of third party games will come along with these, especially now that GTA VI has been delayed.

Not sure if day one, but I'll DEFINITELY be getting this at some point. The Switch 2 version if possible.

I certainly hope so, as the first one is way worse than the second part. It feels like a huge prologue (and it actually is).

The second one is pretty good in general, but the last part is terrible in comparison with the original. They really can't do things right as long as Nomura is in charge, it seems.

I've played through this game twice already. Fantastic game, I love it and I trully recommend it for anyone that likes metroidvanias, but I wouldn't play it again only for the 120fps lol.

I might get this one at some point (I've never tried it), but I'd rather get the Star Wars Jedi games on Switch 2. Those are really fun!

It's not that big, it's quite ok! I would get the physical version if there was any, though... A shame.

Guys, stop dreaming, GTAVI won't be coming to Switch 2 anytime, unless it's a terrible port (and we don't want that, right?). It will be a huge game even for PS5 and Xbox Series, no way this will work on a handheld hardware...
What I expect to see coming to Switch 2 are ports of GTA V (the best edition) and RDR2, which is not bad at all either.

In any case, this delay will surely benefit the Switch 2. This whole year, including Christmas, will be all about the brand new console.
Nintendo better release something else by November, a system seller! If they do, they'll easily sell 25 million consoles this year.
I know Mario and Zelda are out of the question, but maybe Animal Crossing? Smash Bros? Ring Fit 2? An exclusive Dragon Quest XII? A brand new IP?

First time I know that was even a thing lol.

Well, of course, they are DLCs, and they're normally not for free... These cases I understand completely.

In my case, I'll get the upgrades for Zelda TotK (just because I love that game so much) and Kirby for the DLC. And Metroid Prime 4, of course, but that doesn't count.

The rest of the games I already own I hope they can be upgraded for free (apart from Mario Odyssey, Zelda EoW and the rest we already know).

30 bucks for this is crazy...

I think it's time for a review of Tombi! (aka Tomba!), don't you think? I still have it in my wishlist, waiting to know if the game is finally good on Switch. I loved the game back in the day, one of my favorite PSX games.

Also, there's no review yet of Guns of Fury! Check it out, it's a Metal Slug meets metroidvania, it's great. It's got a 91/100 in Switch Up.

@SillyG Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon Legends are big enough for this Christmas, I think. Apart from Mario Kart World and DK, that will keep selling like hotcakes.
I wouldn't count on having more big Nintendo games this year.

I bet this will be THE big game of 2026 for the Switch 2.

I just hope it's not another collectathon like Mario Odyssey or DK Bananza. I'm not so much into huge worlds for platformers, actually. I want now something more streamlined, like Galaxy or 3D World. Like Astrobot.

@Rhaoulos Hahaha man, Japanese people are the first that don't worry about respecting western culture when they base their games in our countries... There are tons of games based in European culture, and do they care about doing it right? Obviously not. It's just their vision of the countries.
Just look at Resident Evil 4, based in Spain with locals speaking with mexican accent, among many other things... Did we get angry? Did the president of Spain say even something about it? Nope, we just didn't care, it's a videogame.

Also, in every AC you can destroy the scenery and do whatever you want, pretty much. Come on, it's just a videogame. It's NOT REAL.

It's just stupid. I bet these persons are angry because Ubisoft decided to include a black samurai, but they don't want to say it directly. That'd make more sense.

It looks good! I don't know if I'll get it, I'm not that interested in this game, but I'm happy for those who are. And I'm happy that the Switch 2 can move well this type of games, too.

Good feature, games like Split Fiction (awesome game) benefits a lot from that, of course. I hope we'll see it often in the future.

I LOVED this game back in the Gamecube era. I haven't played it since then, and I don't think I'll pay the online subscription. However, I'd pay day one for a standalone remaster! Even if it looks like this.

Or even better, for a brand new game! F-Zero is begging for a new entry. Even an adventure game, as some have said, with Falcon being a bounty hunter like Samus (but, of course, focusing on racing).

A brand new F-Zero, Golden Sun and Starfox is all the Switch 2 needs to fulfill our desires. Bring them on, Nintendo!
Apart, of course, from the expected Super Mario, Smash Bros, Zelda, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade (or a new IP), Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Mario RPG, Splatoon, Bayonetta, Kirby...

Portal: Companion Collection is an absolute MARVEL. What an indredible experience (I recommend playing both games together, the first one is almost like a prologue). At that price is a no brainer.

I still have to play Silver Star Story, but not before I'm done with Dragon Quest 3 and the Suikodens.

@Manguy888A I'd say they're waiting for GTA VI's release date to annouce the one for Metroid Prime 4. I guess no game wants to be close to that one, even if it's not direct competition lol. Everyone will be talking about it, also the magazines.

If you notice, not even an obvious game like Pokemon has a release date yet. I'm guessing it's because they'll release Pokemon the same month as GTA (they won't mind, it's Pokemon) and the rest of the games (Metroid, Kirby Air Riders, Hyrule Warriors) will be released in the other months.

The whole industry is cautiously waiting for Rockstar to make the move.

Sure this version looks great, but no way I'm paying for the online service. I didn't on the Switch, and I won't on the Switch 2.

Nintendo, give us Wind Waker HD! I just want to BUY the game, damn it! So hard is it to port it?
