@topsekret You haven't played the rest of the games on Switch 1, right? They look terrible for no reason at all (it's not that demanding). This is NOT a problem of the Switch 2, I tell you... Lazy developers.

New games, no more than two. And mostly from Nintendo (as they are well optimised).

Games that are on a sale, updated and with all patches included to make them fully optimised, between 5 and 10.

I don't have 3D All Stars because honestly, 64 and Sunshine haven't aged well... The Galaxys however, are still amazingly fun, so I'll definitely grab these at some point!

@Jhena You're right, the Switch 1's backwards compatibility was really really fun! Having to pay full price for the same games we had on WiiU (or more, like Donkey Kong TF) was simply amazing. So much better than the Switch 2 situation indeed!

I'll try them both eventually, once I have the chance, and also Kirby Aur Riders. And then I'll give a definitive answer to the big question.

Some people say that this GKC problem will end up with the games being only digital. Which is fair, actually. However, I know I'm not alone here, I NEVER EVER buy digital games at full price (if they are the same as physical). I only get them when they've gone on sale and the price is reasonable (actually, when they cost less than 30 bucks). So I doubt that's the way companies want to go...

It's the same with books. You can't expect to be charged the same for a physical book and for an ebook...

The game is on a Key Card with no reason, it runs at 30fps (and not very smooth), and it doesn't look that great. Perhaps it would've been better to DELAY also the Switch 2 version, and release everything properly, all at once...

Definitely Chronos could look better on the Switch 2, we know the console is powerful enough for that. So, before they release a sequel, it would be nice to have a patch to optimise the game. Once they do, I'll pick it up for sure, it looks great!

In any case, I can't wait for Silent Hill 2 to come to Switch 2!

Yes, the game is great. I've never played the original, so I'm new to the series, and this one is awesome! I'm enjoying it a lot.

@siavm The RE remakes of 2, 3 and 4 will be the next games Capcom will bring to the system for sure. But I understand they didn't want to bring them all together, it wouldn't be a good marketing decision. Bringing 7 and 8 at the same time as 9 makes much more sense, as they're connected.

I'd say the remakes will come to Switch 2 by the end of 2025/ the beginning of 2026. Probably by the time they release their next remake lol (either RE 0 or Code Veronica).

This will be day one for sure! I can't wait to play this in handheld mode, and of course, with the third-person perspective.
