Hopefully SE uses the Direct to show some footage of Dragon Quest XII. It should be coming out next year!

Apart from that, I would also love to see Expedition 33, Metaphor and Baldur's Gate 3 coming to Switch 2.
And obviously, also the Resident Evils and Red Dead Redemption 2...

It is time for an Ocarina of Time remake!

It would be perfect to show just how powerful and spectacular the new console is. And I don't think we'll see a new Zelda until 2028, so it would be great to have something big in between.

This is another proof that the Switch 2 is a beast! I can't believe how many great games will come to the system in the next years without losing much quality on the way, in comparison.
It seems Nintendo's weak systems are part of the past, finally!

I plan on getting Cronos, it looks great... but it's a Game Key Card. I won't pay full price for that.

Also, it came along with Silksong and Star Wars Outlaws, one of the most impressive ports of the platform. Not the best time to be released.

@dardel Why do you have two platforms for third party games?? I mean, I understand this list is not that great having another platform, as there are not many exclusive games here. But at least you CAN play them on the go, which makes a difference.
What difference does a PS console in comparison to a PC, I wonder?

This is one of those games to get a year or so after the release, on a good sale. A classic.

It's a very good thing the Switch 2 is getting so much third party support! After seeing how Star Wars Outlaws and Cronos run on the console, I'm very hyped for what there is to come! Like Borderlands 4, Elden Ring, Indiana Jones and such. I just hope they take their time to polish them properly.

A pity this one will be a Key Card, but hey, the important thing at the end is that the game is good and it runs well on the console.

@SilverM I don't think Okami 2 will be a big-budget game, honestly, but rather an AA game like Onimusha, that's why I hope it'll come to Switch 2 (where it belongs, honestly haha).
About DD2, I didn't know it runs poorly on other systems, I haven't played it myself, but I wanted to do it on a handheld, like I did with the first... Oh well.

And yes, we don't know if Requiem would run on Switch 2, but considering it's a big-budget game, exclusive to this gen, I don't expect it to run well... Keep in mind that RE4 remake and Village are also on PS4/One.

Come on Capcom, don't be stupid. If you want to support the console, bring over native versions of RE 7, 8, the remakes of 2, 3 and 4, Devil May Cry 4 and 5, Dragon's Dogma 2, Monster Hunter World, Onimusha and Okami 2.

There are TONS of games they can release on Switch 2, we don't need a game we know the console won't be able to run properly...

Perfect time for a new Direct, after this crazy week with Hollow Knight, Star Wars and Cronos.

Come on, there's still hope we'll get to play Metroid Prime 4 this year! Within the first weeks of November would be a perfect time to release it. It's not competing at all with neither Pokemon nor Kirby, and anyway, there's plenty of time between them.

By the way, did anyone notice the first Hollow Knight was released around the time the first Switch was released? It seems they've waited for the Switch 2 to go out to release HK 2. Funny.

@fenlix You're right, but considering the original Hollow Knight was quite cheap when it was released (most indie games used to cost 20-25 at the time), now it doesn't shock me to see they're still releasing the game cheaper than most.
Better reason now that they got TONS of money from the first one (remember they're only 3 or 4 people) and they know this will sell like hotcakes.

I'm missing here the Suikoden bases! Best parts of those games.
Also, Breath of the Wild and Ys VIII could be included.

I really like city building as well, it's a very enjoyable task (optional or not). Especially the parts where you have to recruit people, so that they contribute with their jobs, and so more options you get. Pretty cool stuff.

It's an indie game, what did you expect, 90...?? Please, guys.

The original Hollow Knight was released for 15 bucks, the sequel couldn't cost much more considering it's quite samey (which is not a bad thing, mind you).

Does this mean the game is not properly "done" yet?

I wonder if the Switch 2 version will be fully optimised, or if that will be a part of the "roadmap" as well...

And the Wii? Apart from Twlight Princess (which I played on Gamecube), what else came out within the first year (until August that Metroid Prime 3 came out)? I tell you: nothing. Not even third party games, I wish the Wii had HALF the third party support the Switch 2 is getting...

The Switch 1 line up for the first year was an exception. Normally thing were way worse than they are now.

Cronos, Silksong and Trails in the Sky for me! Great month this one. And maybe Daemon X Machina and FF Tactics later on, on sale.
I hope the Switch 2 version Cronos is worth it! Looking forward to the reviews.

I heard Star Wars Outlaws is not running well on Switch 2, such a pity, although maybe it will be good after some patches (and Ubisoft games tend to be on sale pretty early).
Also the Sonic racing game seems to be quite average, and considering Kirby Air Riders is coming soon, well...

I don't know you, but I can't wait for this one to come out!

@Dang_69 Well, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze on Switch was MORE EXPENSIVE than on the WiiU, and didn't include any new level at all... And there was no way to get an upgrade pack either.
So after that, this is a bargain lol.

Yep, this will be one of the first games I will get once I have a Switch 2! Loved the original Switch game, it was a great experience.

If next year they release a remake of Black & White, by 2027 we might finally get a PROPER new Pokemon game, with the gen X. We can only hope...
